Chapter 691: Panagea, Another Adventure(2)

As Aakesh brought his sword down, it looked like the creature had turned into a blood cloud in the eyes of other beasts.

But the group leader was able to see that it wasn’t a blood cloud but Aakesh cutting the creature. After witnessing the scene, the leader felt a chill crawling down his spine.

The closest beast after the first unfortunate creature was too close to escape and couldn’t leave in the midway. It faced the same result in the end, but it wasn’t a blood cloud this time.

Aakesh just grabbed the head of the beast and pushed it to the ground, turning the skull into a bloody pulp as a result.

The other beasts knew that they had picked on a hornet nest, so they attempted to escape. But after what the leader had said, they couldn’t ask for mercy from Aakesh.

Suddenly the hard surface turned into sand, halting the creature’s movements within the radius of hundred meters around Aakesh. The beasts were no weaklings, so they added energy to their paws and escaped the sandy ground.

Unfortunately for them, just that moment of the window was good enough for Aakesh to send two of them to wherever the souls went after death in Panagea.

Aakesh killed one with his pure physical power, while the other became a casualty of his sword as it cleanly cut the creature into two pieces.

“Roar!”

The next moment, a roar filled with majesty rang in the area as the leader of the group stood up.

The next moment, something unexpected happened as the creature turned around and escaped straight away.

On the other hand, the beasts couldn’t believe what their leader had just done. But they had no choice other than to follow the order of their leader since it was not only their leader but also their ancestor.

“Fight with your life! Take revenge for your brothers!”

It was the last order from their ancestor. If they refused to follow through with it, their bloodline would act against them, killing them as a result. If the creature fought, they would still die.

No matter what path the beasts chose, they could only see death in the end.

Since they had no way to choose, they turned their anger toward Aakesh since if they had never tried to hunt him, things would have never come to this.

Their eyes turned red, and soon, their body began expanding. There were around sixteen beasts left after the leader escaped for its life. The highest level was Level 245 in the group.

In no time, all the creatures had expanded by half their size. It was the berserk mode they had as their bloodline ability. It allowed them to fight a person a level above their power level. They were burning their blood to increase their strength.

All their efforts came to nothing as Aakesh’s eyes suddenly turned cold. The sword peacefully sleeping in his hands made a movement as Aakesh disappeared from the spot he was standing on.

In no time, sixteen heads fell to the ground, with an expression of anger and hatred on their faces. They didn’t even know when they died, so the beasts only had the looks they had before attacking the prey.

Aakesh didn’t even glance at the falling head and corpses on the ground as he took a step forward.

The creature was Level 250, so its physical attributes were something that was out of the league of a Level 239 adventurer. Unfortunately for the beast, Aakesh had a legendary class that granted him attributes more than what he should ideally have. The wolf-like creature didn’t have such benefits to it.

Aakesh attributes surpassed the stats of the creature as he caught up to the beast after running for a few seconds, using his full speed.

“Roar!”

The creature couldn’t believe it when it found Aakesh standing in front of him.

It knelt straight away and roared. There was no majesty in its tone this time, but it was a plea for mercy.

Aakesh ignored its plea of mercy and stepped forward.

“If you let me go, I would give you all my treasure,” The creature spoke in a human voice since Aakesh also looked like a human, if not for his blue color. It feared the first strike from Aakesh so much that it didn’t even take an eleven-level gap between their power level.

“If you let me go, I would give you all my treasure,” The creature then spoke in an Elvish voice since Aakesh still didn’t stop and continued approaching it.

Aakesh ignored the creature and continued his approach. The beast spoke in all the languages he knew, but it could gather no reaction from Aakesh except for the calm and cold look in his eyes.

“ROAR!”

“Since you want to fight so much, I will fight you to death!”

The next moment, the creature roared in anger as it couldn’t handle this pressure from the stranger. Aakesh understood the meaning of the roar. He couldn’t help but shake his head since it was now too late for the creature to want to fight back.

The creature was not a weakling that Aakesh would be able to kill it in one strike, so he was not letting it attempt to fight back. Aakesh didn’t like to waste time.

The next moment, a red light gathered around the sharp edges of the sword as Aakesh appeared right next to the creature. Next, he brought his sword down, and another head came crashing to the ground soon after.

The now-dead creature had eyes full of fear, and it looked on the verge of popping as it never expected Aakesh to make a sudden movement. It believed Aakesh would continue his slow approach.

Unfortunately for the leader, it couldn’t know what was going on in Aakesh’s head and lost its life before the battle could even begin.

Aakesh didn’t even take a glance at the corpse, but he turned his head to his right.

The next moment, a creature came out of the bushes and looked at Aakesh with its eyes full of curiosity.

The creature only reached up to Aakesh’s knees and was only a child. Not long after, the child’s mother also came out, pushing the child behind it. Its eyes were full of vigilance and fear. At the same time, there was a desire for the corpse of the creature in its eyes.

The mother was only Level 228, so even with closed eyes, Aaksh could kill it.

Aakesh ignored the creature since he wouldn’t gain any XP as the beast was ten levels lower than his power level.

Aakesh then turned around and left, in the surprised eyes of the mother, while the child beast curiously looked at Aakesh. If not for the mother forcefully stopping it, the child would have approached Aakesh.

Time flew by, and the time to leave Panagea finally arrived for Aakesh.
