The First Store System

Chapter 684: Progress!

After Johanna left the queue, a new customer took her place and kept Aakesh busy.

The queue for the cultivation art today was even higher in number than the previous two days.

The cultivation arts were also a customer introducer product for the store, as just in a few days of its life, it had called more than several million customers to the store.

Even Aakesh had underestimated its impact on the store and the customers. Panagea would provide gains without the fear of death, but there was a high cost to it.

Customers would have to repeat their adventures in Panagea to level up and then redeem those higher levels to become strong in the Primal dimension. The cultivation arts, on the other hand, could let them grow strong by only working once and not paying any extra cost to grow strong. It was just that the cost of the cultivation art was too much for the majority of the customers to bear and purchase them, and there was also the factor of death.

Even Aakesh felt perplexed by so much interest in cultivation arts. He had thought that it would only be a few days, but from the way things are looking right now, the phenomenon of the cultivation arts seemed unstoppable. Aakesh could only guess how much he would become busy in the upcoming days.

It would be a lie if Aakesh said that it wasn’t what he wanted. As a store owner. His paramount goal was to have as many customers as possible in the store. It made him happy to see that the number of customers at the store was increasing every day at a high rate.

“Store owner, I want this cultivation art,” Another customer arrived in front of Aakesh and requested to buy the cultivation art. A virtual book was floating next to the man, so with only a single glance, Aakesh had all the primary detail of the art appear in his mind.

“You need to pay three thousand top Primal stones,” Aakesh expressionlessly told the price of the cultivation art.

As Aakesh was telling the price, he suddenly felt an urge to check on how much progress he had made on the titled quest.

Aakesh didn’t let his urge die out and thought of the quest screen, initiating a rare multitask for him.

The next moment, a blue screen appeared in front of him, containing all the details of the titled quest. It was only visible to Aakesh, so the customer didn’t find out anything.

At the same time, Aakesh also got an alert of the successful payment from the system.

Aakesh told the customer about it and the virtual book soon started materializing. At the same time, Aakesh also looked at the blue screen.

Aakesh couldn’t help but nod in appreciation, seeing the progress he had made in the quest. The mission had a deadline of one hundred thousand weeks, which was more than a millennia, so Aakesh had plenty of time.

But only a few days had gone by, and the store had already gotten a big jump.

Aakesh didn’t focus on Panagea’s section since it was the quickest requirement for Aakesh to complete. He instead looked at the cultivation arts section since it was the latest product in the store.

Aakesh didn’t expect to see such high numbers for the cultivation arts. In only a few days, the store had already sold more than twenty million cultivation arts of each grade. If not for the measly sale of only forty-eight Immortal grade cultivation arts, the number would have been even higher.

What made Aakesh become more surprised was that even the combined sale of Rare grade and Legendary grade wasn’t equivalent to the total sale of the Mythical grade cultivation arts.

From it, Aakesh could see that the store either had lower cultivation level customers, or higher-level customers. Aakesh didn’t want that since he wanted the store for everyone, irrespective of their cultivation level.

Aakesh then stopped thinking about it since there was a lot of time left for the quest’s deadline, and he didn’t have to worry about it.

He then waved his hands. The next moment, light particles started moving away from the quest, and in no time, the blue screen entirely disappeared, waiting for Aakesh to call it back.

Since Aakesh had another quest going on, Aakesh decided to check it as he had already multitasked once.

The next moment, another blue screen containing the details of the quest appeared in front of him.

A few seconds later, Aakesh stopped multitasking and instead only focused on the customers standing in the queue.
