Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 507: Second Drive

On the other spot, Flora received the same shock Noelle experienced.

Flora was controlling the battlefield with her elemental spirits. The plant spirit summoned the roots to make a weird terrain so that the aliens would have a hard time advancing.

The fire and ice spirits were crushing the opponent one by one. The earth and lightning spirits provided additional firepower, allowing her to dominate the entire battlefield.

On the other side, Alavenya hadnʼt summoned her lamia. Instead, she focused on the Dark Butterfly and the squirrel.

The squirrel took advantage of her speed to jump from one alien to another, using their bodies as a footing to propel herself. On the other hand, the dark butterfly was releasing dark beams, annihilating the aliens as if they were Nathanʼs gun.

In fact, the way she utilized her beam had gradually changed to the one similar to Nathanʼs bullet.

When the alien tried to dodge it, the dark beam curved and chased after the alien, hitting them in the end.

After losing to Anubis, the squirrel also knew that she had a problem in killing her opponent. Her speed might be good, but if she couldnʼt reach the enemy, it would be useless.

Flora couldnʼt help but say, ”Your familiars have gotten stronger.”

Alavenya just glanced at her before harrumphing. ”Theyʼre not strong enough.”

Both Alavenya and Flora suddenly noticed an incoming presence. No, there were many of them suddenly coming toward them. And the ones leading them were three mature class aliens.

”So, theyʼre indeed in a group.” Flora squinted her eyes. ”Should I…”

”No. Please allow me to kill the mature class aliens,” requested Alavenya.

”…” Flora was quite surprised, but looking at the determination in her eyes, Flora reluctantly agreed. ”Sure. You can focus on those three mature class aliens. Iʼll take care of the rest of the aliens.”

”Thank you very much.” Alavenya summoned the lamia as well as the beetle queen.

Considering her size, the lamia knew that her opponent would be the giant beast-like alien, and the beetle queen was there to assist her.

Fortunately, the other two were small. Alavenya chose the humanoid alien while the squirrel and the dark butterfly took care of the last one.

Alavenya went straight to the alien. The latter shot out the tentacles from its left hand, trying to capture Alavenya. The tentacles on the right hand formed a shield as if the alien were using a whip and a shield as its weapons to imitate the human.

As if she wasnʼt scared of the tentacles, she just continued onward. Unlike Noelle, who cut them afterward, Alavenya let the tentacles grab her.

However, that was when a burst of ena suddenly erupted from her body.

Iron Body.

Unlike the normal Iron Body that hardened her physical body, the burst actually caused a shock wave that blew away the tentacles.

With the alien failing to capture her, it pushed its shield forward, planning to receive the punch.

Little did it know, Alavenyaʼs punch was different. Despite using the same Dragon Fist, there was actually another glowing sphere within the sphere she concentrated her ena on.

The dragon opened its mouth and let out a roar as Alavenya punched the shield.

The alien could feel the fierceness of this power, but it believed the punch could be stopped.

Unfortunately for the alien, the second sphere within the Dragon Fist erupted, creating a much more powerful shock compared to the initial dragon roar.

This time, the dragon exploded. The shield was pulverized as the tentacles ended up getting blown away. After that, it continued toward the alienʼs chest as the punch launched the alien far away, and the shock from the explosion blew apart the entire right chest.

Flora raised her eyebrows. ”Thatʼs… something new. I have never seen it before. Did you intentionally not use it in the sparring?”

Alavenya nodded. ”Itʼs not completed yet, and I donʼt want to show it yet if necessary. People say that you can release 120% of your power when you are angry.

”While thatʼs not entirely true, I can still make it true with Selenaʼs help. Itʼs like concentrating your power within the concentration of your power. As a result, you have two powers with different concentrations, which will erupt in rapid succession, like 100% power and 120% anger power.

”The initial blast is used to weaken the enemy while the second blast crushes everything.

”To be honest, Iʼm just frustrated because my martial arts are not strong enough, while the second half of the martial arts canʼt be used without a price. So, Iʼm thinking of creating something in between… and this is my answer: Second Drive.

”Donʼt tell anyone about it.” Alavenya sighed. She had decided to remain angry, but that was only in her heart. The blaze would continue in her heart, but that heat wouldnʼt travel anywhere, allowing her mind to remain cool.

She came up with this technique in that village as the snow piled up on top of her head and kept it cool. Of course, Selenaʼs way of using ena was the technique required to create this. It wasnʼt completed yet since she expected the burst to be even stronger if it wanted to bridge the gap between the first half and the second half of the Dragon Martial Art.

The biggest contributor to this technique was definitely Nathan, who kept annoying her. If not for him, she wouldnʼt have thought about utilizing her anger and coming up with such a technique.

”Anyway, this is my first step to becoming my fatherʼs equal… No, to surpass him.”

Flora smiled. ”Thatʼs amazing. You should have told everyone about it, since they should be able to help like Nathan or your father.”

”No! Donʼt tell Nathan. No matter what!” Alavenya gritted her teeth.

”…” Floraʼs face brightened as she thought, ʼAh, this… This is different from Noelle, who is clueless about it. She is the type of someone who canʼt be honest with herself, isnʼt she?ʼ

”So, you want me to keep this a secret until youʼre able to shock Nathan and defeat him?”

”…” Alavenya paused for a moment, remembering the Absolute Zero. Flora didnʼt know about it, so she didnʼt know how terrifying Nathan was. That was why she could say with confidence, ”No. Itʼs no use to compete with him.”

Flora was confused, but, knowing her character, she smiled playfully while teasing her, ”Well, Iʼm just worried about Nathan and Selena, considering theyʼre going to fight against a mature class mutant.”

To her surprise, Alavenya spoke with a straight face. ”No. You donʼt have to worry about them. Nathan is an absurd thing that I canʼt describe, but Selena… if I have to say, she is a… monster.”
