Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 417: Cruelest Method (Bonus)

Evelyn stood in front of the giant crystal and placed her hand on it.

As soon as she poured her ena, the crystal immediately measured the amount of ena in her body.

To Nathanʼs surprise, thirteen purple particles appeared in the crystal. Even the others were quite shocked to see this amount of ena.

”This is…” Nathan gasped. He took another look at the remaining particles. ”13,286,588. Thatʼs your ena, captain.”

”13 million… Doesnʼt this mean our captain has finally stood toe-to-toe with the World Class Summoners, such as the Sage?” Revon gasped.

”Not necessarily. After all, you also need to measure your familiarsʼ enas unless you are the sword saint. No, the sword saint might have the highest amount of ena because he never really summons his familiars…” Bella gasped.

”Youʼre awesome, Captain.” Soniaʼs admiration was through the roof.

After hearing Bella, Evelyn summoned a total of six familiars. As expected, only two of them, which were her lifebound familiars, had enough ena to be considered World Class. The rest were still in the Arcane level.

However, it was no wonder why Vivian said she was approaching Leyfonʼs level. She was almost considered a World Class Summoner.

”So, our captain is almost a World Class Summoner, huh? This is great news.” Neyeid smirked.

”I know, right?” Bella smiled. She sneakily gave Nathan a thumbs up.

”Youʼre done. Itʼs time for me to test it then!” Revon became fired up. He was the strongest person after Evelyn, so he was curious about how close he was to Evelyn.

”7,104,509 for Revon,” said Nathan with a shocked face. Although he knew Revon was strong, he didnʼt expect him to be at the same level as his teacher.

However, Revonʼs style seemed to be similar to the Sword Saintʼs. He summoned five familiars, who surprisingly only had a million ena each.

On the other hand, Vivianʼs high elf and druid were actually World Class familiars. If she got more enas from that point on, she would spend it to summon the Fairy Queen.

Unfortunately, Bella might be the vice captain, but she was the one managing the group. As such, she never really needed to fight. She looked like she was already satisfied with her and all her six familiars having one million ena each.

Unsurprisingly, Neyeidʼs strength surpassed Isabellaʼs by having three million ena.

Christopher and Sonia were the most recent members before Nathan, so they only had several hundred thousand ena.

Then again, Nathan couldnʼt really belittle them. In the end, he only had ten thousand ena for the time being. He was planning to reach a hundred thousand by the time he reached the second year. Of course, the rest of his familiars should have at least fifty thousand at that time.

Even though this group was small, each of them was strong.

”Hehehe. Iʼm going to become strong soon!” Sonia pumped her fist. ”Iʼm not going to lose.”

”Work hard, Sonia.” Bella winked playfully.

”En!” Sonia nodded furiously.

Bella turned to Nathan. ”You, too, Nathan. You should work harder.”

”I know. Itʼs going to be hard, but I already have a schedule in mind. It should take less than two years to catch up with you guys.” Nathan smiled.

”Such confidence. Good luck.” Bella nodded.

Nathan took a secret glance at Evelyn as he couldnʼt help but wonder, ʼShould I go along with the plan to kill the Sageʼs brother by using Evelyn? No. It should be the plan to make Evelyn become a true World Class Summoner.ʼ

Evelyn noticed his glance and said, ”Since you guys have tested it, itʼs time to bring this back. Letʼs go, Nathan. I will drop you off as well.”

”Oh! Sure.” Nathan nodded.

The others were still too excited after knowing their ena, so they didnʼt care much about it.

Hence, Evelyn and Nathan returned to the Frexia Academy.

”Well, itʼs time to work again. The next three weeks are going to be exhausting.” Nathan stretched his body.

Before leaving, it was Evelynʼs turn to take a secret glance at him, recalling the answer to her question.

”Suppose you were our enemy. What would you do to capture or kill all of us?”

Nathan looked shocked and thought for a moment, showing that he had never considered it. This was enough to make Evelyn relieved.

”Never mind. You donʼt have to answer my question.” It was just a test, so she never cared about the answer. As long as Nathanʼs heart was with them, there was no need to let him think of such a scary thing.

Unfortunately, she was too late.

”Suppose I were your enemy. I will target two people first. Bella and Neyeid. The easiest one will be Bella. The plan is rather simple since Iʼll be just the bait. Bella looks like someone who will use seduction and illusion to get me or extract information from me.

”This kind of honey trap is good, but I can act as if I have fallen into her scheme and capture her instead. Through her, I will capture Neyeid, who has been managing the fund. Without him, the organization will be crippled because not only do you lose your access to money, but the information you can get is also limited. Without Bella, the organization will be crippled.

”You are strong, but taking down your subordinates will render you useless. After those two, I will create a new plan to get Revon, the strongest after you. Depending on how youʼre going to act, I will then catch Sonia and Christopher.

”You will either get too angry that you will rush to me or hide or recreate this organization. If itʼs the latter, you have fallen right into my trap. If itʼs the former, I would probably not have killed all of them yet. I will execute them in front of many people to bait you out. Or even more, I will strip Bella and Sonia and parade them all over the town.

”I am no hero. If necessary, I will use even the dirtiest or sickest trick to crush my enemy. I just hope I never have to become a monster.”

She could still recall the answer and the cold expression he had when giving that answer. It was just looking at a mirror. If Bella was here, she would have said that her expression back then was similar to Nathanʼs.

Evelyn couldnʼt help but sigh. Before teleporting back to the base, she walked to Nathan.

”Whatʼs wrong, Captain? Do you need anything el—” Nathan abruptly stopped when Evelyn suddenly patted him on the head.

”I donʼt know where such darkness originates, but I can relate. Itʼs just… I hope you never become a monster…” Evelyn knew that the trigger for Nathan to become a monster was his women.

Nathan was startled by her sudden action, but before he could react, Evelyn had teleported back.
