Summoners: One Golden Term per Level

”Isn’t it because of Odysseus, after Odysseus offended him that time.

This brain-dead creature has always thought it was me who prompted Odysseus to deal with him.”

”Afterwards, Poseidon hinted that some divine monsters that control water should assist Polyphemus, secretly using seawater to flood my island.”

”I cannot directly cause trouble for him, but you’re different. You’ll eventually confront Poseidon anyway.

Using Polyphemus to enhance your strength isn’t a bad idea either.”

After Calypso finished talking, Shen Fei understood the conflict between the two. Ever since Odysseus escaped from Polyphemus last time.

Escape just like that, and even said something like.

’No one can harm you, but the one who harmed you was Odysseus!’

Isn’t this a blatant mockery, and moreover, a demigod being mocked by a mortal.

If it were an ordinary person, they would have died long ago.

But Odysseus has divine spirits protecting him after all, having been a hero of the Trojan War. It could be said that though his journey home seemed fraught with danger and grandeur, he was actually secretly protected by Athena.

Otherwise, when Polyphemus prayed to Poseidon for Odysseus to encounter difficulties at the ocean, given Poseidon’s authority over the seas.

Even without taking action personally, relying on his Atlantis guards would have been enough to cut Odysseus into eighteen pieces.

Yet he returned safely, which shows how much was going on behind the scenes.

Polyphemus knew Odysseus had successfully returned, and unable to vent his anger, he could only take it out on Calypso.

After all, Odysseus had been staying on Aia Island previously.

Initially, Polyphemus was not bold enough to offend Calypso.

Considering Calypso’s intricate connections with the mysterious Netherworld goddess.

But discovering even Poseidon had dispatched divine monsters to help him.

Proves Calypso was unable to find Hecate for support, he then began secretly harassing Calypso.

He began letting Atlantis or some water-controlling entities flood the edges of Aia Island, continuously reducing its size.

”Alright.”

Shen Fei naturally did not worry about offending Poseidon. It could be said he’s probably already on Poseidon’s radar, given Poseidon and Athena’s relationship.

With Athena’s divine power inside him, he’s long been categorized under Athena’s influence by Poseidon.

Moreover.

Though Athena enlisted Earth Mother Gaia to immobilize Charybdis, if Shen Fei truly slays Charybdis, Poseidon wouldn’t hate Gaia, only Shen Fei.

”Then I’ll leave it to you. I’ll go prepare the altar first.”

Shen Fei looked at Moon God and Jasper Pool and said, ”I’ll handle it, you two stay here to help Calypso prepare the altar.”

Calypso raised her brows, considering this guy sensible enough. Just wanted to vent a bit.

If this guy had let those two girls take action, she’d consider whether to punch him!

”Alright.”

Jasper Pool and Moon God exchanged glances, also recognizing Calypso wanted to seize the chance to vent, but considering Calypso’s care for the master.

Shows Polyphemus poses little threat to Shen Fei.

Suddenly.

Calypso’s face turned angry, ”He’s here again.”

Immediately taking to the sky, Shen Fei and the others followed suit. They saw the far-off Aia Island with a water wall hundreds of meters high, like dark clouds pressing against the city, attacking Aia.

Calypso casually pressed down, terrifying magic power surged for suppression, but Calypso didn’t wield divine authority, and moreover, her power wasn’t of the water attribute.

What she mastered was witchcraft, witchcraft being more generic.

Therefore.

Even though Calypso is indeed stronger than Polyphemus, in terms of converting and utilizing sea power, she can’t surpass Polyphemus.

The key point is.

This hundreds-of-meters-high water wall was only compressed to below ten meters, but Shen Fei casually waved, and the [Tsunami] divine authority instantly descended on the water wall.

’Bang’—vanished without a trace.

”I’ll go trouble him.”

The next moment Shen Fei stepped forward, the sponge suddenly raised up water columns to support him, because he was already proficient in water magic, deploying this [Tsunami] divine authority was perfectly smooth for Shen Fei.

Calypso saw Shen Fei’s straightforwardness, her eyes shone brightly, indeed worthy of being the person she liked, carrying out tasks cleanly and efficiently.

Jasper Pool and Moon God saw Calypso’s gleaming eyes, no wonder she was deceived by Odysseus back then, she’s too easy to cajole.

...

Shen Fei was certainly not joking, mainly he was pondering a situation, Hecate hadn’t responded, he worried it was because of their entry here.

The Saintess had replaced the original Hecate, causing certain changes.

Now considering sacrificing a demigod, he wondered if it would alert Hecate to his existence, plus Calypso was praying for his life.

If he could establish contact with the Saintess, entering the Netherworld would be much easier.

Because Calypso told him, previously able to summon the Gate of the Underworld was also by using Hecate’s power, even traversing the Netherworld was thanks to Hecate’s protection.

Now, without Hecate.

Calypso dared not rashly open the Gate of the Underworld, the Netherworld wasn’t like the Mortal Realm with many divine spirits occupying it, mutually restraining divine authority.

Some demigods don’t even need to show face to true divine spirits.

Like if you offended Poseidon, it’s no big deal as long as you never venture into the sea.

Poisideon’s divine authority hardly penetrates onto land.

But the Netherworld.

Has always been the private domain of Hades and other Netherworld divine spirits, mortals entering it would surely be detected, let alone a demigod.

Furthermore.

The Netherworld is where Chronos is imprisoned, one like a suspected Titan descendant entering the Netherworld, are you courting death?

If Hades informs Zeus, that would be hard to deal with.

Even though Athena secretly undermines Zeus, she wouldn’t openly confront Zeus, especially given Zeus’ temperament.

Zeus can tolerate Titan descendants, even Titans.

That’s his confidence as the Divine King.

But you can’t provoke his prized possessions.

Just like his offspring, other than Hera, anyone else seeking to harm his children will witness the wrath of the Divine King.

Back then, that Charybdis was because he slaughtered Hercules’ cattle and sheep.

Of course, it was likely Poseidon testing Zeus.

After all, if you can slaughter cattle and sheep without repercussions, who knows what you’ll kill next time.

Therefore.

To avoid provoking those currently unable to be provoked, contact with the Saintess is essential, and this Polyphemus represents an opportunity.

As Shen Fei contemplated, the entirety of Sicily Island already appeared in Shen Fei’s sight.

”Was it you, this guy, who helped that bird-winged woman suppress my waves just now?!”

A rough voice, like sandpaper scratching glass, sounded in the air.

Shen Fei looked over and saw a towering giant nearly twenty meters tall standing at the edge of Sicily Island, gazing at him!
