Samsara Tower: Only I Know the Plot!

Chapter 243: Chapter 243: The Indestructible King Kong

250,000 Samsara Points!

This was the highest number of Samsara points Fenric had ever accumulated.

He was tempted to convert them all into potential points and distribute them across his attributes.

But then he remembered the next scenario—the major trial mission known as ”[Final Destination].”

11

That gave him pause.

For this scenario, Fenric had a bold plan in mind.

However, that plan demanded an incredibly durable body to stand any chance of success.

After weighing his options, Fenric ultimately decided to upgrade his Armament Haki to the highest level!

Armament Haki was just too reliable.

Its defensive capabilities were outstanding—easily one of his most dependable tools in combat.

In Fenric’s opinion, among all his current abilities, Armament Haki was second only to Telekinesis.

In fact, in truly dangerous situations, it might even be more important.

Because when it came down to it—Armament Haki could save your life.

However, to upgrade his Haki from Mastery to Superior, he needed a staggering 240,000 Samsara points.

Just thinking about it hurt his ass.

Still, Fenric gritted his teeth, shut his eyes, and spent them all.

Because survival is priceless.

What use are points or skills if you’re dead?

The upgrade completed.

Fenric couldn’t wait to test his newly enhanced Armament Haki.

”Om—!”

His right arm instantly turned pitch black, gleaming like polished obsidian.

A smooth metallic sheen shimmered across its surface.

He reached over with his left hand to feel it—aside from the body heat, it was no longer flesh.

The hardness had far surpassed that of normal metal.

Exactly how tough it was, Fenric couldn’t say—he hadn’t tested it yet.

But he was confident:

Even if his plan fails in the upcoming ”[Final Destination]” scenario, Death itself might not be able to kill him.

More importantly, when he coated his entire body in Armament Haki, he could clearly feel a transformation.

His body was no longer the same.

He had ascended to a new level.

A word popped into Fenric’s mind—

”Vajra Body!”

(Note: Literally: ”Diamond Indestructible Body.”

Figurative meaning: A body that cannot be harmed by blades, fire, or weapons.

Symbol of invincibility and extreme resilience.)

Now, with his current physique, that phrase finally felt appropriate.

He truly embodied the legendary ”Indestructible Body of King Kong.”

With the remaining Samsara points, Fenric used them to purchase 50 potential points.

Even a small upgrade was worth it.

He quickly distributed them among his core attributes.

It was already past 4:00 a.m. when Fenric stepped out of his personal warehouse.

He didn’t linger and quickly logged out, returning to the real world.

After a nap, it was nearly 11:00 a.m. the next day.

Fenric emerged from his room to find Father Eric already busy.

AH City was still under martial law. The factory where Father Eric worked hadn’t reopened yet, so he was home for the time being.

”You’re up? Go brush your teeth and wash your face. Breakfast is almost ready!” Father Eric called out with a smile.

Fenric nodded, cleaned up, and sat at the dining table.

Soon after, warm food was laid out.

Having raised Fenric alone for more than a decade, Father Eric had naturally developed excellent cooking skills.

The aroma stirred Fenric’s appetite, and the two began chatting over their meal.

”By the way,” said Father Eric, ”your school sent out a notice this morning. The college entrance exams have been postponed a few days.”

Fenric nodded silently.

College exams?

They didn’t matter to him anymore. He had no plans of returning to school.

Father Eric continued, ”There’s something else. Your aunt—my sister—lives here in the city, not too far from us. I’m planning to visit her this afternoon. Come with me.”

Fenric was about to refuse when he heard his father add,

”If it weren’t for your aunt, I really don’t think I could’ve raised you alone. We’ll buy some gifts and pay her a proper visit. And stop staring at your phone all day.”

Those words sparked a memory.

A buried fragment of the body’s original life.

When Fenric was still a child, Father Eric worked multiple jobs and couldn’t always take care of him. During that time, Fenric had been left in the care of his aunt.

In those hazy memories, she was a kind and generous woman—treating him like her own child.

Remembering this, Fenric couldn’t bring himself to say no.

He now lived in this body. Some responsibilities should be honored.

”...Alright,” he agreed.

After finishing their meal, Fenric and Father Eric went to the supermarket to buy some fruit and health supplements. Then, they hailed a taxi and headed toward his aunt’s home.

The neighborhood she lived in was an older residential area.

But the moment Fenric stepped into the community, a flood of childhood memories surged forward—

This was where most of this body’s early years had been spent.

Soon after, they arrived at his sister-in-law’s house.

”Second brother! Ric! Come in, come in—no need to change your shoes!” she called out warmly from the doorway.

”Second brother, honestly, you shouldn’t have brought anything! Such a waste of money.”

”Ric, sit down! I’ll cut some fruit for you.”

”Don’t leave tonight—stay for dinner. My husband gets off work around five-thirty, and Xiao Qiu will be back after school.”

His aunt was bustling with hospitality—boiling water, making tea, cutting fruit. She never stopped moving.

When she looked at Fenric, she couldn’t help but exclaim in surprise, ”I can’t believe it! I haven’t seen you in a year, and you’ve grown so tall! You’re already a handsome young man!”

Fenric smiled politely. ”Aunt, don’t trouble yourself. I can help.”

”Don’t worry, you and your dad just sit and relax. I’ll go buy a few things for dinner.”

Father Eric quickly interjected, ”Suen, don’t go to all that trouble.”

”It’s no trouble at all,” she said cheerfully. ”It’s rare for you to come visit. I’ll make a couple of dishes tonight—you and my husband can have a nice drink.”

Before Father Eric could object again, she slipped on her slippers and headed out with her bag.

Inside the house, only Fenric and Father Eric remained.

Looking around the worn and cramped apartment, Father Eric sighed with emotion. ”Ric, if you have the ability in the future... help your aunt. She’s done a lot for us.”

Fenric nodded solemnly.

By evening, his uncle and cousin returned home.

His uncle Hao was a modest, hardworking man who held a steady job at a local factory. With his meager income, he supported the whole family.

His cousin, Hally, was only a year younger than Fenric and currently in her sophomore year.

”Big brother!”

Seeing Fenric, Hally gasped with surprise. ”What are you doing here?”

”Now look at you, girl—what kind of way is that to greet him?” her mother chided, chuckling.

”It’s not like that!” Hally laughed sheepishly. ”I’m just really happy to see him—I haven’t seen my cousin in forever!”

Looking at her energetic and bright smile, Fenric couldn’t help but smile back. The memories of their shared childhood began to surface in his mind.

”But, big brother... how did you become so handsome? Oh my god! And those legs! With a body like that, if you enrolled at my school, even the school heartthrob would lose to you!”

Her father nodded in agreement. ”Ric really has changed a lot. He’s got more presence than those actors on TV.”

It was true—after receiving the Super Soldier Serum, Fenric had undergone a significant transformation. On top of that, he now exuded a powerful aura, enhanced by his mastery of Conqueror Haki. His presence wasn’t just handsome—it was overwhelming.

Comparing him to a celebrity almost felt like an insult.

No wonder his relatives felt like he’d changed drastically.

Hally stared at him with eyes full of wonder. She never imagined that the same cousin she used to make mud pies with would grow into such a striking man.
