Chapter 203: Chapter 203: Who Is Number One in the World! “Boss, if you fought this boy, who would win?”

Fire Cloud’s sudden question left Fenric momentarily stunned.

The crowd nearby perked up, clearly curious about the answer.

Fenric thought for a moment, then turned to Sing. ”Sing, hit me with your Buddha Palm. Let me see what it’s like.”

The crowd gasped.

They had just witnessed how terrifying the Buddha Palm was—strong enough that only the formidable Fire Cloud could survive it. If anyone else took a direct hit, they’d be done for.

And Fenric was asking Sing to hit him with it?

Had he lost his mind?

Only Fire Cloud remained calm. He alone knew just how terrifying Fenric’s defensive abilities were.

”Boss... I don’t know if that’s a good idea. What if—”

Sing trailed off, but everyone understood the unspoken concern.

”What if?” Fenric scoffed. ”You think you can kill me with one palm, brat?”

Fire Cloud had managed to survive with serious injuries. Fenric’s defense was far beyond his.

”Step aside, senior.”

Fenric helped Fire Cloud move to the side, then faced Sing and said calmly, ”Come. I want to see the true power of the legendary Buddha Palm.”

”Boss, are you serious?”

”Of course I am!” Fenric snapped. ”Don’t underestimate me. Now go all out!”

As soon as he finished, Fenric activated his Armament Haki, coating his body in a black, steel-like sheen.

He wasn’t trying to show off.

He genuinely wanted to test the power of the Buddha Palm.

If it’s not to his standard, he wouldn’t have bothered wasting his ”Temporary Enlightenment Card.”

Besides, judging by what he’d just seen, the technique was definitely powerful.

Seeing Fenric’s body harden like tempered steel, Sing finally realized how abnormal his Boss truly was.

”Alright, Boss. Brace yourself—I’m coming!”

Sing warned, then focused his energy into his Dantian, reared back, and struck forward with a palm from a distance.

BOOM—!

The air erupted with an explosive shockwave.

A raging gust of wind tore through the surroundings. Behind Fenric, a few old, uninhabited mud houses were instantly reduced to ash.

As for Fenric, he was sent flying.

He soared several hundred meters before landing hard—though cushioned somewhat by his telekinetic control.

Upon landing, his expression shifted slightly. A sharp, metallic taste filled his mouth.

He was injured.

His exterior was fine—his Grandmaster-level Armament Haki had absorbed the brunt of it—but internally, his organs had taken a hit from the force.

The Buddha Palm... truly lives up to its name.

It wasn’t just destructive—it shook the very soul. Without a doubt, this was the strongest attack Fenric had ever faced.

And Sing had clearly held back.

”Boss! Are you okay?”

Sing rushed forward, worried, and reached out to help.

Fenric waved him off and stood up on his own. ”I’m fine. I can handle it.”

The damage to his internal organs wasn’t critical. With a few days of rest, he’d be fine. No lasting injuries.

Besides, the mission was ending in a few days. Once he returned to the Samsara Space, he could recover completely.

Seeing Fenric rise as if nothing had happened, Sing was visibly shocked.

”Boss, what is your body made of? How are you this durable?”

Even the Landlord couple nearby were horrified.

That Buddha Palm had only shredded Fenric’s clothes?

What kind of monster was this Axe Gang leader?

As for the other Samsara participants watching from the sidelines, only one thought echoed in their minds:

The Shura Boss is terrifying!

”This is my own unique skill,” Fenric said casually, then asked, ”Sing, tell me honestly—how much power did you use just now?”

Sing hesitated for a moment. ”Seventy percent.”

Fenric inhaled sharply.

Only seventy percent, and it still did that much damage?

What would happen if Sing went all out? Could one palm actually take him down?

And yet... Fenric was excited.

The stronger the technique, the better!

Right now, what he lacked was a truly powerful offensive skill.

His Thor Hammer was strong, but it was still an external tool—not something that belonged to him.

”Sing, you’re one of my people. I want to learn the Buddha Palm from you. You wouldn’t refuse your own Boss, would you?”

Fenric’s eyes gleamed with anticipation.

Sing blinked in surprise, then smiled warmly. ”Of course not, Boss. If you want to learn, I’ll teach you.”

”Good!” Fenric laughed heartily, clapping Sing on the shoulder.

Many of the spectators nearby had their eyes light up at that exchange.

Especially the Samsaras—many of them looked like they were already plotting something.

Fenric noticed and sneered coldly.

Let them try.

Sing was trained by him, hand-picked and nurtured. If anyone thought they could swoop in and steal the fruit of his labor—

Dream on.

Not far away, Fire Cloud limped over and grinned.

”I’m still curious. Between the two of you, who’s really stronger? Why not settle it? The winner can claim the title of ’Number One in the World!’”

At those words, even the Landlord couple’s expressions shifted.

Martial artists strive for the peak. Who wouldn’t want to be the best?

But Fenric only chuckled and shook his head.

”I’m not interested in being number one.”

Truthfully, if he used Thor’s Hammer, Fenric figured he had a 60–70% chance of winning against Sing.

The Buddha Palm was indeed fearsome, but with his hardened physique and Armament Haki, Fenric believed he could withstand several hits.

And once he summoned lightning with Thor’s Hammer—well, Sing was still human. Few could survive a direct strike from that kind of power.

No matter how gifted Sing was, he’d still be knocked out if struck by lightning.

Not to mention, Fenric also had the black blade Shusui—if it came to it, he could simply cut off Sing’s head.

”I don’t want to fight the Boss,” Sing said with a smile.

Fire Cloud looked a bit disappointed.

No peak showdown. A shame.
