AHis Spirit attribute had surpassed 600, now sitting at 620!

Even Strength broke through the 400 mark.

At this level, Fenric could absolutely dominate and eliminate anyone on the same tier.

By the time he returned from his personal warehouse, it was already 3:00 a.m.

After a moment’s thought, he entered his personal dungeon: ”The Great Wall.”

The original plan? To visit his 27th fiancée.

But what awaited him there infuriated him.

The Little Emperor of Bianport—who clearly had something wrong with his head—had issued an imperial edict summoning General Lin Mei to the capital, assigning her as the Commander of the Imperial Forest Army.

On the surface, it looked like a promotion.

But only fools would miss the deeper meaning.

Everyone in the Song Dynasty knew by now: General Lin Mei’s fiancé belonged to the Immortal Realm.

So for the Emperor to suddenly summon her?

He was clearly using Lin Mei as leverage to threaten Fenric!

The moment Fenric received the news, his expression turned ice-cold.

He said nothing.

He simply donned the seventh-generation Mark armor, stormed into Bianport under the cover of night, and—

took the foolish Emperor’s head.

Before dying, the young Emperor revealed the true masterminds behind the plot:

Several high-ranking ministers, nearing death, had sought the secret of immortality from the Immortal Realm.

So they forced the Emperor to issue the edict, targeting Fenric to achieve their ambitions!

Big mistake.

They had angered him.

And once Shura was provoked, it didn’t matter if you were a veteran of three dynasties or even a living saint—

He would send you all to meet the King of Hell early

!With Fenric’s overwhelming power, there wasn’t a soul in the entire Song Dynasty who could stand in his way.

That very night, Bianport City ran red with blood. Fenric’s wrath reduced the capital to a slaughterhouse.

Then came his warning:

”If anyone dares target General Lin Mei again...”

In a city of a million souls, not one person doubted his words.

Because Fenric could fly—courtesy of his battle armor.

In ancient times, anyone who could soar through the skies was considered a god.

That act alone cemented Fenric’s name as a divine figure.

Leaving only those chilling words behind, Fenric turned and flew off in his armor.

As for what would happen to Bianport now—

Who would inherit the throne?

He didn’t care.

If Lin Mei wanted it, he’d place her on the throne with one hand, making her the second Empress in history after Wu Zetian.

After resolving Lin Mei’s issue, Fenric returned to the real world.

Real World

It was past 4:00 a.m.—the quietest time of night.

But tonight, the city was far from quiet.

In the distant city center, a faint glow of fire lit up the sky.

Fenric stepped out of his room and saw Father Eric sitting on the couch, deep in thought.

”Dad, why haven’t you gone to sleep?”

”Ric, you’re back?” Eric replied quickly. ”There were explosions downtown not long ago. I don’t know what’s going on.”

Fenric frowned.

Explosions?

Could it be that a powerful biochemical creature had appeared?

He was all too aware of the Blacklight Virus’s power. Given enough time, it could spawn monsters on par with the Tyrants from Resident Evil.

If that kind of monster was loose, the human army would struggle to contain it—

Unless powerful Samsaras stepped in.

But that wasn’t the real threat.

The true danger lay in the ”[Evolveds]”

—those rare humans who didn’t become zombies when infected, but instead mutated into something worse. In martial arts terms, these were ”chosen ones”, one in a million.

Once infected, if they didn’t collapse...

They transformed.

Gained immense strength. Their bodies became living weapons.

Hands turned into blades, hammers, shields—it was child’s play.

In terms of combat ability, they rivaled Symbiotes like Riot.

Even worse, they retained their human intelligence and appearance, making them terrifying opponents.

Fenric had played the game Prototype. The protagonist? Also an [Evolved].

In game terms, these beings had at least B-rank strength.

”Dad, pack up your things. I’m taking you back to the countryside. We leave now!”

”But the city’s on lockdown—how will we go?” Eric asked, puzzled.

Fenric didn’t answer.

He simply summoned Mark 7 and activated it.

Clang—whirr—click!

With mechanical whirring, the Seventh Generation Armor rapidly disassembled and reassembled around him.

Before Father Eric’s stunned eyes, Fenric transformed into a sleek, armored figure.

”This... this...”

Eric was speechless, stunned to silence.

As a humble factory worker, he had never seen anything like this.

”Don’t worry, Dad,” Fenric said through the suit’s mechanical voice. ”It’s something I got from the Samsara space.”

There was no longer any need for Fenric to hide who he was.

Especially not from someone as trustworthy as his father.

After a long pause, Eric finally found his voice.

”This thing... can it fly?”

”Of course it can~”

”Alright, Ric. Give me a moment to pack. Then we’ll go.”

”And bring a thick jacket,” Fenric reminded him. ”It’s cold up there.”

Soon, Father Eric returned with a large bag—mostly clothes and some heavier items.

Fenric took him to the rooftop, picked him up, and took off slowly.

To protect his father from the wind, he flew at a steady, reduced speed.

As for satellites and radars?

The armor’s onboard AI—Tsunade—jammed them all with ease.

Tony Stark’s tech was over 50 years ahead of its time. Of course, it had anti-detection systems.

After safely settling his father in the countryside, Fenric returned to the city.

He was going to investigate what exactly had happened in the city center.
