Samsara Tower: Only I Know the Plot!

Chapter 158: Chapter 158 – Me! Live in First Class, Who Objects?

Belle’s enhancement ability boosted Fenric’s power by nearly 60%.

The effect was astonishing.

Under her enhancement, Fenric’s strength skyrocketed. With just a wave of his hand, a terrifying storm of thought power swept across the battlefield.

Even the ordinary people standing at the edges could feel the strong wind rushing over them like a physical force.

The soldiers who had surrounded Fenric weren’t so lucky.

Da-da-da!

Gunfire erupted, but not a single bullet came close to Fenric.

Then—

In the air around him, ten razor-sharp flying blades materialized out of thin air.

With a single thought, Fenric sent the blades whirling forward like predators let loose.

Puff! Puff!

Wherever they passed, blood sprayed, and limbs were severed in a horrifying display.

It was merciless—like an overclocked meat grinder, devouring the army alive.

Even Belle, standing beside Fenric, paled at the sight.

She was a Samsara player, someone who had seen her fair share of death, but even she found the scene difficult to stomach. As for the others? They were frozen in absolute terror.

In the span of a few breaths, the well-trained battalion had been completely annihilated.

Bodies lay scattered across the ground—dead, maimed, or writhing in agony.

The entire area fell into a deathly silence.

No one dared to move.

No one dared to speak.

”Shura, the enhancement lasts for only thirty minutes,” Belle reminded softly, her voice trembling slightly.

Fenric nodded and slowly turned his gaze to the world leaders who were watching from the high platform.

The next moment, he stepped forward—and then rose.

With a pulse of mental power pushing against the ground, Fenric’s body lifted into the air.

He was... flying.

With Belle’s enhancement, Fenric could sustain short bursts of true flight.

One man, floating in the sky, without any external aid.

The sight shocked everyone just as much as the massacre from moments ago.

For centuries, only gods were said to possess such power.

A few religious believers among the crowd were so overwhelmed that they dropped to their knees, trembling.

Fenric ignored them.

He descended onto the high platform, landing with effortless grace. Then, with a casual gesture, he extended his mind power, lifting Belle off the ground and placing her gently beside him.

His gaze swept over the assembled leaders like a predator sizing up its prey.

”Which one of you has the authority here?” Fenric asked in a deep, commanding voice.

The heads of state exchanged nervous glances before all eyes turned toward an elderly woman.

Feeling the weight of everyone’s gaze, the elderly woman bit her lip and stood up.

She didn’t have the luxury of hiding. With this many eyes on her—and the monster in front of her calling her out—pretending not to hear would destroy her dignity forever.

”Your Excellency,” the elderly woman said cautiously, ”what... is it you wish to discuss with me?”

Unsure of how to address him, she chose ’Your Excellency,’ a title reserved for the highest form of respect.

Fenric smiled faintly.

”Nothing complicated,” he said with a faint smile. ”I just want a place on the Ark... and a better room. Something like yours should do nicely. After all, someone of your position must be staying in a very comfortable suite, right?”

The leaders stared at him in shock.

What?!

This man had slaughtered so many soldiers, caused such a terrifying scene, all... for a room upgrade?

Boss, you could have just asked!

Of course, no one dared to say such thoughts out loud.

”I didn’t kill all those men because I wanted to,” Fenric continued, his smile widening. ”They tried to stop me. I’m actually a good person.”

A few people almost choked on their breath.

A good person?!

If you’re a good person, there wouldn’t be a single bad guy left in this world!

”If you think I’m guilty, feel free to send more troops. My hands are itching anyway. I’d be happy to... play.”

As he spoke, Fenric casually swung his fist toward a nearby crane.

BOOM!

The several-ton crane exploded under his punch, the impact ripping through steel plating and leaving a gaping hole in the iron floor.

The crowd stared, pale and trembling.

This was not a negotiation.

This was a threat.

If nuclear weapons were still viable, perhaps these leaders would have tried to resist.

But now? With tsunamis devastating the world and chaos everywhere, all they had left were ordinary soldiers.

Against a monster like Fenric, they stood no chance.

”Madam,” Fenric said softly, his voice carrying a razor-sharp edge. ”I’ll take your room. Do you have any objections?”

the elderly woman’s lips twitched, and she forced a polite smile.

”Your Excellency, Ark No. 3 is at your disposal,” she said with surprising composure. ”It is... my honour to have you aboard. On behalf of everyone, I welcome you.”

As expected of a person in high status, Fenric thought with mild amusement. That thick skin is impressive.

”Good,” he said, satisfied. ”Keep that attitude, and I won’t cause trouble on Ark No. 3. If danger comes, you can even ask me for help.”

He turned to Belle. ”Belle, let’s go.”

With that, Fenric strode confidently toward Ark No. 3.

Belle followed close behind, her gaze fixed on him, a storm of emotions swirling in her heart.

Just now, Fenric had displayed overwhelming dominance, forcing the world’s leaders to bow their heads.

Such an imposing, fearless man... had an undeniable charm.

Fenric boarded Ark No. 3 without a hint of hesitation.

Under the guidance of the staff—who dared not even look him in the eye—he and Belle were taken to the most luxurious suite on the Ark.

It was, of course, the elderly woman’s suite.

The place was built to presidential standards:

A spacious living room, a large master bedroom, a bathroom fitted with cutting-edge technology, and a panoramic screen wall.

High-end furniture, leather sofas, oil paintings by famous artists—everything screamed luxury.

Even at the end of the world, social classes were alive and well.

The elite would always enjoy comfort, even if everyone else was left to die outside.

Fenric, of course, didn’t care about these trivialities.

He was planning to enjoy a peaceful ”vacation” here.

But then another problem came up.

There was only one bed in the suite... and there were two of them.

”Should I ask them to arrange another room for you?” Fenric asked, glancing at Belle.

Belle shook her head. ”No need, Shura. With so many people still stranded outside the Ark, there’s no way they’ll have extra rooms available.”
