Samsara Tower: Only I Know the Plot!

Chapter 149: Chapter 149: Steal Iron Man’s Armor?

There was only one Riot Glove, and it was for the right hand.

Fenric slipped it on. The glove appeared loose at first, but the moment it touched his skin, it clung tightly to his palm.

With a thought, the glove responded—instantly extending and transforming into a broadsword.

The weapon was wide and heavy, its blade gleaming with cold steel. Compared to the sleek black blade Shusui, it was an entirely different beast.

Fenric swung it twice. It felt solid and responsive in his grip.

Next, he shifted the broadsword into a spear, then into an iron ball, testing each transformation.

All in all, this glove was a solid enhancement to his combat ability.

Of course, that didn’t mean the Riot Glove could replace Shusui. In terms of sharpness and durability, the legendary black blade still had the upper hand.

Satisfied, Fenric placed the glove back on the shelf and picked up his next special item.

”Special Item: Oxygen Mask.”

”Allows the user to breathe in extreme environments.”

Another excellent find.

Fenric couldn’t help but smile.

With this item, he no longer needed to wear bulky oxygen tanks the next time he entered a dungeon set on another planet.

The mask itself was transparent. As soon as he placed it against his face, it sealed snugly, providing oxygen automatically.

After removing the mask, he stored it neatly back on the shelf, pleased with his haul.

Now, only one item remained:

The Golden Treasure Chest!

Fenric was full of anticipation.

Based on his past experiences, nothing that came out of a golden treasure chest had ever disappointed him.

He opened it without hesitation.

”Congratulations! You opened the Golden Treasure Chest and obtained the passive ability: ’Hundred Poisons Immunity!’”

1

”Your body is now completely immune to all toxins.”

”??”

At first, Fenric blinked in surprise.

Then a wide grin spread across his face.

’Hundred Poison Immunity’—now this is a valuable skill!

With it, he never had to worry about getting poisoned in future dungeons.

Very satisfying. Extremely satisfying.

Fenric couldn’t help but laugh joyfully.

Now, only his 40,000 remaining Samsara points needed to be handled.

To better prepare for the Fifth Stage challenge, he converted all the points into potential points, then distributed them strategically across his attributes:

This was Fenric’s current status.

His evaluation was still at B-rank, showing how much harder it became to advance the higher one climbed.

After handling all the rewards, Fenric exited his personal warehouse.

”You have a new message. ’Aurora Morwyn’ is requesting a video call. Please respond promptly.”

A notification greeted him the moment he stepped out.

After a brief moment of thought, Fenric accepted the request.

”Good evening, Aurora.”

”Shura, thank you so much for helping Belle last night!” Aurora Morwyn said gratefully.

Fenric chuckled. ”No need to be so formal. We’re all allies here.”

He had a good impression of Aurora, and Belle had been quite obedient and respectful.

”Do you have time now?” Aurora Morwyn asked.

”What’s up?”

”Belle would like to treat you to tea—to thank you in person.”

Fenric thought for a moment, then nodded. ”Alright. What’s the room number?”

”Box 1176.”

”Got it. I’m on the way.”

After hanging up, Fenric had the system teleport him to the teahouse.

Box 1176.

As soon as Fenric stepped inside, Belle stood up from the sofa, her expression full of excitement.

”Great God, you’re here!”

Aurora Morwyn also rose and smiled. ”Shura, please, have a seat.”

Fenric smiled back. ”We’re all friends—no need for such formality.”

The sisters both chuckled happily at that.

Belle Morwyn, in particular, looked absolutely thrilled.

To be on friendly terms with the great Shura was an honor.

After they were all seated, Belle suddenly stood up again, holding a teacup with both hands.

”Great God Shura, it’s thanks to you that I got an SS rating last night. I offer you this cup of tea in gratitude!”

Saying that, she downed half the cup in one gulp.

Seeing her so earnest made Fenric want to laugh a little.

”No need to be so formal,” he said, taking a sip from his own cup out of courtesy.

Belle sat down, but her gratitude didn’t stop there.

”A mere cup of tea doesn’t express my thanks enough,” she said seriously. ”Besides earning 24,000 points, I also received a silver treasure chest and a special item.”

”I already opened the treasure chest and gained a new combat skill, so I want to gift the special item to you, Great God Shura.”

Fenric blinked. ”You’re being too generous. I’ll feel guilty if you keep this up.”

”I insist,” Belle Morwyn said firmly. ”Without your help, I wouldn’t have gotten an SS rating. I’m more than happy with the points and skill I received. Please, don’t turn me down.”

Fenric turned to Aurora, half-expecting her to step in.

But she only smiled and said, ”Sorry, Shura. This girl’s too stubborn—even I can’t change her mind.”

”You’re not even trying,” Fenric muttered. He knew how much Belle feared her sister—last time, he had asked what Devil Fruit Aurora had eaten, and Belle had sworn not to breathe a word, terrified to say anything.

”Alright, alright,” Fenric said finally. ”What’s the special item? If it’s useful, I’ll accept it. If not, you keep it.”

”It’s a Tampering USB Drive,” Belle explained. ”It can be used to override intelligent systems.”

Fenric paused for a moment, surprised. ”That’s... not bad.”

”That’s not all!” Aurora Morwyn added. ”Shura, the sixth floor of the Samsara Tower is based on The Avengers. There’s a guy in it named Iron Man—his armor is a powerful special item, but it’s incredibly difficult to obtain.”

”With this USB drive, you might be able to override the AI in the armor and seize control.”

”In other words... just take it from him!”
