Peerless Divine Doctor

”Boss, there’s a car that has been following us,”

the driver in the front business van said, furrowing his brow as he spotted Ye Luo’s Mercedes through the rearview mirror and quickly spoke up.

In addition to Qin Yuru and four men in black, there was a middle-aged man in the business van with a knife scar on his face, dressed in a black combat outfit. His wolf-like eyes were gloomy and cold, sending chills down one’s spine.

Hearing the driver’s words, the middle-aged man glanced back and then spat out, ”Speed up, and lose him.”

Subsequently, the two Mercedes vehicles accelerated sharply, overtaking other cars on the street with a sudden surge in speed.

”Think you can escape?”

In the Mercedes, Ye Luo sneered, slammed the gas pedal, and jerked the steering wheel. The car’s performance was ignited, and its speed soared continuously.

As the capital of Huaxia, the streets of Capital City were always filled with cars, especially at this time around noon, when the entire street was packed with vehicles.

However, at this moment, the two business vans and a Mercedes played out a high-speed chase, instantly causing chaos on the road. Many drivers were startled, cursing at the nerve of these drivers to race in such a place.

Disregarding all traffic laws, the three vehicles raced wildly through the congested streets, even blasting through red lights, nearly causing a massive accident.

At this time, in the surveillance room of the Capital City Traffic Police Brigade, a group of people were intently watching the screens displaying the feeds from dozens of surveillance cameras.

”Chief, look quick, we found them, those two business vans,”

a police officer named Xiao Tao, dressed in uniform, pointed at the two business vans speeding past on one of the monitors and urgently addressed Police Chief Zeng Fang.

Zeng Fang focused on the surveillance footage and asked, ”Who is that person in the Mercedes?”

”Don’t know,” someone replied. ”However, according to our information, when Miss Qin was abducted, there was a man who stole a Qin Family car and chased after them.”

”Enlarge the video of that Mercedes,” Zeng Fang commanded with a sharp look in his eye. The surveillance footage was zoomed in, revealing a figure inside the Mercedes. Although it was blurred, Zeng Fang recognized him as the person Qin Yuru had introduced as the man who subdued a group of bandits on a plane.

”It’s him!” Zeng Fang’s eyes narrowed with a flash of intrigue, and he quickly ordered, ”Deploy all the detectives, notify the Special Police Force and the Armed Police Squadron. Have all transportation departments set up checkpoints at the intersections where the business vans are located. We must rescue Miss Qin safely, no matter what.”

Zeng Fang’s voice was heavy with urgency, his face solemn, and the police officials around him wore equally serious expressions, their brows tightly furrowed, knowing full well the grave responsibility they would bear should anything happen to Qin Yuru.

By this time, the news of Miss Qin Yuru’s kidnapping had spread across the entire Capital City.

The Qin Family, one of the five most influential families in Capital City, and Qin Yuru, not only the young miss of the Qin Family but also the CEO of their most important asset, the Qin Group, renowned as one of the strongest women in Huaxia’s business world, was a household name with great influence in Capital City.

The kidnapping of Qin Yuru naturally caused a sensation throughout the city, especially since the Qin Family Head, Qin Huaide, was critically ill, this incident led many to speculate about additional implications.

After all, Qin Yuru was Qin Huaide’s most cherished granddaughter and the one he focused on cultivating the most, which is why he would entrust her with full control of the extensive Qin Group.

Now that Qin Huaide was critically ill, many people speculated that the Qin family was likely to see a fierce battle for power and profit play out.

In a secluded part of Capital City, there stood a vast estate brimming with antique charm. Surrounded by lush greenery, the environment was elegant and the air was clear—truly an ideal place for recuperation.

This was the residence of the Qin family, one of the five major families of Capital City, where Family Head Qin Huaide lived with his two sons and their families.

As one of the five major families in Capital City, the Qin family’s primary dependence was on the Qin Group, founded by Qin Huaide. After decades of hard work, he had developed it into the largest group in Huaxia. Controlling fifty percent of Huaxia’s economic lifelines, the Qin family was a behemoth in the business world.

Qin Huaide had three sons and one daughter: his eldest son, Qin Tianming; his second son, Qin Tianxing; his third son, Qin Tianchen; and his youngest daughter, Qin Tianfang.

However, the second son, Qin Tianxing, and his spouse had died young. The couple had a daughter, Qin Yuru, before both perished in a car accident.

Inside a room within the Qin family’s residence, Family Head Qin Huaide lay on the bed, his face deathly pale, lips cracked, expression extremely haggard, and pupils dimmed, the very picture of a man at the end of his tether and clearly gravely ill.

Also in the room were numerous family members: Qin Tianming and his family, Qin Tianchen and his family, and Qin Tianfang and her family all gathered there.

At that moment, the elder who had gone to pick up Qin Yuru at the airport strode into the room and approached the bed. Looking at Qin Huaide, he said, ”Master!”

”Yu... Yuru... where is she?” Qin Huaide’s eyes slowly turned as he gasped out the words ”Yuru.”

”Master, I’m sorry, I failed to protect the young miss. I had just arrived at the airport and saw her when suddenly a group of people appeared and kidnapped her,” the white-haired elder said. He was Ji Quan, the Qin family’s butler, and he had followed Qin Huaide for more than thirty years.

”What... cough, cough... Yuru has been kidnapped?”

Upon hearing that Qin Yuru had been kidnapped, Qin Huaide’s expression turned exceedingly agitated, and he began to cough violently, his complexion becoming even paler.

”Dad, don’t get excited, Yuru will be fine. Just take it easy,”

Seeing her father like this, his daughter Qin Tianfang immediately took hold of Qin Huaide’s hand and spoke with a look of concern.

Meanwhile, the eyes of both Qin Tianming’s and Qin Tianchen’s families were shining.

”Yes, Dad, don’t worry too much. With the strength of our Qin family, we will surely be able to rescue Yuru,”

Qin Tianming also quickly spoke up.

”Ji Quan, go and mobilize all of the Qin family’s strength. No matter... no matter the cost... you must... must rescue Yuru... cough, cough...”

Qin Huaide spoke with emotion and in broken sentences, his tone filled with deep concern and worry for Qin Yuru.

”Master, rest assured, I will certainly bring the young miss back to you safely,”

Said Ji Quan with a grave expression, before turning and walking out.
