Peerless Divine Doctor

Watching Ye Luo and his companion, several bodyguards dressed in black suits inside the restaurant couldn’t help but sweep their gaze over them, their sharp eyes fixed on the woman in Ye Luo’s arms.

”What are you looking at? Haven’t you seen a woman before? Keep staring at my woman, and watch out, I won’t be polite.”

Ye Luo glared fiercely at the few men, tightly hugging the woman in his embrace, with an intimidating look on his face.

The bodyguards in black suits gave Ye Luo a cold glance but didn’t speak, redirecting their attention elsewhere. Meanwhile, Ye Luo, still holding the woman closely, promptly left the restaurant and quickly departed the area.

Arriving at a secluded spot, Ye Luo reluctantly let go of the woman in his arms. She removed the cloth covering her face, revealing a stunningly beautiful visage like that of a fairy, none other than Shi Yanran. However, her face was flushed, and her eyes shyly looked at Ye Luo.

”Sorry about that, I had no other choice.”

Looking at her expression, Ye Luo said somewhat awkwardly, yet deep down, he was thoroughly enjoying it.

If Ye Luo had known he was the first man to ever hold Shi Yanran like this, he would have enjoyed it even more.

”It’s ok. You’re really amazing. You actually managed to shake them off. Without you, I might have been discovered, and then I wouldn’t be able to come out alone.”

Shi Yanran’s lips curved into a smile, like a radiant lily.

”Is your identity really that special? Why have you been sneaking around like this? Is someone trying to kill you or something?”

Ye Luo said with a puzzled look on his face.

”You don’t recognize me?”

Upon hearing Ye Luo’s words, Shi Yanran’s eyes showed a hint of surprise and she looked at him closely.

”What? Should I know you?”

Ye Lu looked confusedly at this beautiful woman.

Though you are as beautiful as a fairy, not everyone has to know you, Ye Luo inwardly muttered.

After staring at Ye Luo for a few seconds, Shi Yanran smiled faintly, ”It seems you really don’t know me. How interesting.”

”Are you famous or something?”

Ye Luo scrutinized Shi Yanran once more, from head to toe; aside from her fairy-like face and devilish figure, there was no sense of familiarity at all.

”No, I was just curious. Oh, by the way, are you from Zhonghai, and how long have you been here?”

”I’ve been in Zhonghai for a bit over a week. What do you want to do?”

”I’ve heard that Zhonghai has some nice scenery. I would like to find someone to take a good look around. Do you have the time?”

Shi Yanran’s eyes, like twinkling stars, gazed at Ye Luo; her beautiful eyes clear and deep.

”Sure.”

Of course, Ye Luo wouldn’t turn down an invitation from such a beauty. Since he was already out, he decided to take the day off from work.

”Thank you.”

Shi Yanran said as she put on her sunglasses and peaked cap again, concealing her face, as if she was afraid of being recognized, which left Ye Luo completely baffled.

Afterward, Ye Luo took Shi Yanran around Zhonghai. Although he himself had not been to many places in Zhonghai, having the company of a beautiful woman was indeed a blessing.

Shi Yanran, on the other hand, seemed like a bird that had been caged for a long time, feeling extremely excited once out.

As time flew by, hours passed, and dusk gradually fell. The setting sun slowly descended, casting a vast expanse of red clouds that turned half the sky crimson, creating a quite spectacular scene.

Ye Luo and Shi Yanran headed to a park in Zhonghai, where they sat quietly on a bench under a large tree, watching the sunset.

”We’ve walked quite a bit, are you tired?”

Ye Luo asked with a light tone, looking at Shi Yanran.

”No, I feel like today has been the most relaxing day for me, thank you for being with me today.”

A faint smile graced Shi Yanran’s lips, her voice clear and ethereal. Her face, illuminated by the glow of the sunset, took on an even more fairy-like quality, radiating a pure and holy aura.

For some reason, looking at Shi Yanran, Ye Luo felt completely relaxed, as if all his worries had melted away, and he seemed very carefree.

”It’s getting late, aren’t you going back? I bet your bodyguards are about to go crazy looking for you.”

”Yes, it’s time to go back, otherwise, Sister Mei will really start worrying.”

Shi Yanran nodded her head.

”I’ll take you back,” offered Ye Luo.

”Thank you.”

Shi Yanran looked at Ye Luo with grateful eyes, her cherry-red lips slightly pursed.

Grand Jin Hao Hotel, the only establishment in Zhonghai that surpassed the five-star rating with its six-star status, also happened to be the most luxurious hotel in the entire city. Even the cheapest room here cost eighteen thousand eight hundred eighty-eight yuan per night, attesting to its extravagant prices.

However, the hotel’s facilities and all other aspects were also top-notch, especially in terms of security and privacy, which made the Grand Jin Hao Hotel a favorite dwelling for wealthy businessmen, celebrities, and nobility.

Soon, a taxi stopped outside the hotel, from which Ye Luo and Shi Yanran emerged.

”You’re staying here?”

Ye Luo stared in surprise at the magnificent hotel in front of him, realizing that this beautiful woman’s background was not at all simple.

”Yes, I’m going in now.”

With her cap pulled low, Shi Yanran nodded at Ye Luo and then turned her eyes before saying, ”Could you give me your phone number? I’ll be staying in Zhonghai for a few more days. If I have time another day, I’ll come and ask you out.”

”Of course, I’m more than happy to accept an invitation from a beautiful woman.”

Ye Luo said and gave his number to Shi Yanran, who memorized it. Then, with a glance through her sunglasses at Ye Luo, she quickly ran into the hotel.

Ye Luo smiled and got back into the taxi to leave.

”Isn’t that Shi Yanran?”

Not far from the Grand Jin Hao Hotel, a car was parked with two men inside, one fat and one thin, both holding cameras. It was the fat man who had just spoken.

”Yeah, she does look like her, but who’s that man?” asked the thin man curiously.

”If that’s really Shi Yanran, we’ve got a huge scoop,” said the fat man, suddenly looking excited.

”Exactly, let’s keep watch,” nodded the thin man, his eyes sparkling with excitement.

Inside the luxurious presidential suite on the thirtieth floor of the Grand Jin Hao Hotel, a woman dressed in a black suit and short black skirt was pacing anxiously. She appeared to be in her thirties. Her face was attractive, full of allure, and her figure was voluptuous. Holding a cell phone, she seemed extremely nervous and agitated.

Bang!

The suite door burst open, and Shi Yanran walked in, taking off her sunglasses and cap.
