One Piece : Noble Phantasm Maker

Chapter 165: Chapter 165: Jaya, Shandora!

Upon hearing this, Sanji began telling them the story of the great liar, Noland.

He recounted Noland’s marvelous journey, starting from the North Blue, all the way to the sky island, and even mentioned motorcycles that could float on clouds.

The final and most important point was the City of Gold, Jaya, Shandora.

When they heard this part of the story, Nami’s eyes sparkled with a golden glow.

While reading ”The Adventures of Noland,” this was the Chapter he enjoyed the most, always delivering boundless impact.

It was a shame the book ended there.

”The Adventures of Noland” recorded these stories from Noland’s perspective, so it didn’t include the disheartening later events where he was beheaded for his lies.

Hearing about Noland’s tragic fate, a ripple went through Nami’s heart.

Before Sanji could finish, Nami sighed and went aside to ponder.

Luffy, on the other hand, seemed to feel that the story’s ending wasn’t great and tasteless, so he started demanding food.

”Hey, Sanji, stop talking and get me something to eat. I’m starving!”

As he spoke, Luffy clutched his stomach, putting on a weak expression.

Interrupted, Sanji lost his enthusiasm and stomped on Luffy’s head with his foot, saying:

”There are no extra ingredients left for you to eat. Didn’t you just eat candy earlier?”

Upon hearing this, Luffy’s face contorted, and he then looked at the modified house.

He was about to go inside to see if there was anything delicious when suddenly a voice rang out.

”Hey, wait a minute. Is it okay for you thieves to barge into someone’s room without permission?”

As soon as the voice finished, accompanied by the sound of a gun being cocked, a handgun was pressed against Luffy’s head.

Seeing this, Raynor and the others took defensive stances, glaring menacingly in Luffy’s direction.

Zoro placed his hand on Wado Ichimonji, his expression solemn, ready to strike at any moment.

Sanji spat out the cigarette he had just finished and slowly lifted a foot.

Usopp’s legs trembled, and he then pulled out his slingshot.

When they looked at the large man behind Luffy, a look of seriousness appeared in their eyes; they seemed to have seen that person somewhere before.

Then, Nami took the book Sanji had placed aside and looked at it before pointing at the man and saying:

”This guy looks like Noland’s cartoon character, they both have pineapple hair!”

Hearing this, the bare-chested, pineapple-haired man’s eyes showed a hint of disgust. He then turned the gun’s muzzle towards Nami.

”Hey, don’t just say whatever you want. I never admitted that guy is my ancestor!”

As soon as the pineapple-haired man finished speaking, Sanji seized the opportunity and kicked his hand.

He kicked Cricket’s gun away and then kicked him into the water.

Sanji casually caught the handgun and muttered to himself:

”It’s unforgivable to point something so dangerous at a woman.”

After speaking, as Sanji was about to stylishly light a cigarette, Nami, who had rushed over, punched him squarely in the head.

”Hey, Sanji, didn’t you hear him just now say that Noland is his ancestor!”

”Maybe he knows where Shandora is. You were too rude!”

Hearing this, Sanji felt wronged but could only reluctantly extend a hand.

”I’m sorry...”

As he said this, Nami ordered Zoro to go down and save him. Although Zoro was a thousand times unwilling, he had to go down under Nami’s fierce gaze and pull Cricket out of the water.

Cricket looked at them with ill intentions, then clenched his fists and said:

”What are your intentions? No matter what you do, I won’t say a thing!”

Hearing this, Nami was not disappointed but instead showed a look of anticipation in her eyes.

The more Cricket acted like this, the more it proved that he definitely knew the whereabouts of the gold.

With this in mind, Nami walked directly and sinisterly towards Cricket and said:

”Um, mister, you definitely know about Shandora’s existence, right?”

Upon hearing this, Cricket sat up, and then held a blade of grass in his mouth, saying:

”Little kids, don’t be fooled by the contents of novels. Jaya doesn’t exist at all, let alone Shandora. That was just the crime they pinned on that fool Noland.”

Hearing this, a shadow fell over Nami’s eyes, and she then slapped the pineapple head of Cricket.

”Hey, who are you trying to fool? If you don’t believe in Shandora’s existence, then why would you come to live in this place alone? Isn’t it all to search for the City of Gold that your ancestor spoke of?!”

As soon as Nami finished speaking, Cricket clutched his chest.

His face then contorted, and he collapsed to the ground, unconscious.

Seeing this, Chopper panicked and ran around.

”Hey, Nami, what did you do!”

Hearing this, Nami said frantically:

”I, I didn’t do anything!”

At this point, Luffy also looked serious and accused Nami:

”Hey, Nami, you hit him too hard!”

As soon as he said this, Nami was almost driven mad and directly punched Luffy on the head, reiterating:

”I told you, it has nothing to do with me!”

Soon, the Straw Hat crew took Cricket into the small room.

Then Chopper treated Cricket, which brought him out of danger.

Cricket slowly sat up and lit a cigarette.

After hesitating for a while, he finally spoke:

”Do you guys really want to know where Shandora is?”

Upon hearing this, the Straw Hat crew’s brows furrowed, and Nami’s eyes already showed the color of Baili.

”Um, does Shandora really exist?”

Hearing this, Cricket took three swift drags of his cigarette, coughed wildly, and then looked at a map hanging on the wall of the room with a cold expression.

His tone changed completely as he said:

”Ah, Shandora, it definitely exists.”

As soon as he said this, the Straw Hat crew became serious.

Cricket had previously firmly believed that Shandora was merely a product of the book.

But now, he was firmly stating that Shandora definitely existed.

They could imagine the heavy feelings behind this change of heart.

Following Cricket’s gaze, the group looked at a map behind them.

On that map, there was a strange skull drawn.

On the left eye of the skull, there was a golden icon.

Seeing this, Nami immediately ran out and looked at the shape of the building. When they matched, it perfectly fit the map.

Nami’s confidence surged, and she also firmly believed that Shandora definitely existed.

With this in mind, Nami rushed in, looking at Cricket with earnest eyes and saying:

”Is there a way to find Shandora’s location? Or is this place we are currently in the ruins of Shandora!”
