Chapter 2404: Greed is Good V

”Let us make gravity heavy!” Adrian exclaimed as he increased the gravity that affected both the Primordial Beast of Greed and Wisteria.

The Primordial Beast of Greed felt its body falling much faster than before and the weight pressing down on its barrier also added to the increase in speed. The monster summoned by the demon was almost as large as it was, and it even released leaves made of spirit crystals that are on the tree on its back. The spirit crystal leaves did not pierce the Primordial Beast of Greedʼs barrier, but it is doing damage to it.

The Primordial Beast of Greedʼs barrier is tied to all of the assets that it possesses. The barrier is not maintained by the mana it has but by the gold coins and precious artifacts that it is keeping inside of its body. The Primordial Beast of Greed has a special pocket dimension that is located inside of its body where all of its treasures are stored.

The large gold coins that it is spitting out is not something it created but real gold coins that it empowered with its own energy. The gold coins that it uses for attacks will eventually dissolve into nothingness as the energy of greed will corrode the material used once it dissipates. The Primordial Beast of Greed is literally burning money as it attacks but that also means that it has yet to become tired.

The Primordial Beast of Greed never once used mana, and a primordial beast has a sizeable amount of mana that it could use. Mana so powerful and pure that even the organization that bound them made sure to never offend the primordial beasts unless necessary. Out of all the Primordial Beasts of Sin, the danger level for the Primordial Beast of Greed is high because of its special abilities.

In a drawn-out fight, the Primordial Beast of Greed is not an opponent that you want to face. This is also the reason why the Primordial Beast of Greed is biding its time. It knows that the beings that are attacking it will tire out eventually. The amount of fortune and precious items that it has amassed could literally buy a country.

”I can wait until they are tired but why does it hurt!” The Primordial Beast of Greed thought as it crashed to the ground and the dragon turtle that plunged with it suddenly floated in the sky to gain distance from it.

The Primordial Beast of Greed would be calculative and calm which is why it can create scenarios that will benefit it more. There are times when its powerful greed would blind it from things, but it can always recover after a few days. This calm mind of the Primordial Beast of Greed is the result of never feeling pain.

The Primordial Beast of Greed might have lost against those angels back then and had its power stolen. It might have been sealed away because of the fear of those angels but it never felt pain in battle. The Primordial Beasts of Sin are beings created from natural negative emotions. They are the embodiment of those emotions which means they are made purely from it.

A being purely of greed which meant that no other emotion or feeling could register. The Primordial Beasts of Sin might show other emotions but that is all tied to the emotions of the others. All Primordial Beasts of Sin are connected in some way because of an unknown history that even they do not know of.

When the Primordial Beast of Greed actually felt pain for the first time, the very same feeling was actually transmitted to all other Primordial Beasts of Sin. The sensation might not have been as tantamount to what the Primordial Beast of Greed have felt but they also felt it. A tingling sensation that is incredibly irritating and an overloading sensation sent to the brain as if you are being hit on the head multiple times.

”I do not want to feel it anymore!” The Primordial Beast of Greed shouted as its remaining eye suddenly turned red.

[The Primordial Beast of Greed has become berserk.]

[The Primordial Beast of Greedʼs attack damage has been increased by 10%.]

”First, I must deal with the annoying bugs!” The Primordial Beast of Greed shouted as its remaining eye suddenly circled around but then focused on the Immortals that are releasing sword waves and energy waves to attack his barrier.

”Golden Army!” The Primordial Beast of Greed shouted as it slammed its hands on the ground.

The golden clouds filled with coins that the Primordial Beast of Greed is standing on suddenly expanded around it. From within the golden cloud, gold coins suddenly started to morph into humanoid beings. These humanoid beings imitated all of the Immortals that the Primordial Beast of Greed has made trades with.

There are even some copies of the Immortals that are presently fighting against the Primordial Beast of Greed. The most powerful one created were made of ten gold coins as it exuded the aura that could cut through anything. It was a clone of the Murim Alliance Leader, the Sword Saint Namgung Myeong himself.

”Kill all of the worthless trash! Offer their fortunes to me, my golden army!” The Primordial Beast of Greed shouted as it also released a powerful pressure.

[You have lost ten gold coins due to the Greed is good aura blast of the Primordial Beast of Greed.]

”I might actually go broke if I do not kill that golden toad.” Adrian stated as his money was still decreasing as the entirety of the formation is actually affected by the aura of the Primordial Beast of Greed.

”Now! To deal with you, demon!” The Primordial Beast of Greed shouted as it spat out ten large golden coins that transformed into flying beasts of different races.

”What the heck?! You even traded with demonic beasts?” Adrian thought as there are demonic beasts in the eastern continent that have sentience.
