New Age Of Summoners

1557 Change of Plans

After one year inside the Floating Island,

Inside a deeply hidden small cave,

ʼDing,

Congratulations to the host for successfully refining the 10 king-grade pills and gaining 10000 experience points towards the King-grade Alchemy.

ʼDing,

Congratulations to the host for successfully refining the 10 king-grade pills

ʼDing,

The host failed….

ʼDing,

Ajax didnʼt bother about the system notifications as he refined one batch after another King-grade essence recovery pills.

Even though the pills were still uneven and looked inedible just like one year back, his success rate regarding the refinement of the Essence recovery pills had greatly increased.

Previously, his success rate was only one percent; however, with his determination over the last year, it increased from one percent to 25 percent.

ʼEven though 25 percent was still very low, compared to one year back, it was a great improvement.ʼ

Ajax clenched his fists and muttered, ʼBecause of those silver-winged b*stards, I canʼt even go out to search for the treasures in the Floating Island. Other than pill refining, there is nothing I can do about it.ʼ

Originally, Ajax thought to learn more about the Golden City that the Golden-winged young manʼs father owns; however, he encountered a group of silver-winged warriors along the way.

Each of those silver-winged warriors had the strength of the high-level emperor realm warriors. With a glance, he could tell they were related to the golden-winged young man and before he could do anything, those silver-winged warriors started enquiring about him.

Clearly, they felt Ajax was suspicious as he was not an old resident of the Floating Island.

ʼI still donʼt know how they could differentiate between an old timer and a newcomer with a single glance.ʼ

They wanted to bring Ajax back to their Golden City to interrogate him about his background and other things.

Of course, Ajax knew it was not a good thing to enter the enemyʼs territory as they could find out all his secrets including the fact that he killed their young master.

So, he didnʼt have any chance other than fighting them with his full strength without hiding his strength.

At that time, Ajax had to work together with Siora, Raweth and Sparrow to be barely able to kill them.

ʼI think I just have to give up on finding the healing-type treasures in the Floating Island.ʼ

After killing those group of silver-winged warriors, Ajax and others found some hidden caves and settled and Ajax gave up on his conquering mission on the Floating Island.

ʼFor now, I just have to survive and wait for an opportunity. Even if I miss an opportunity this time, I can always come back to destroy that Golden City.ʼ

Ajax didnʼt want to lose any other contracted spirit beast or the elemental spirit while fighting against the Golden-winged young manʼs father and his minions.

Even though one year has passed on the floating island, only one day has passed in the real world.

In total, itʼs been only two days since Ajax entered the floating island.

ʼBefore I leave the Floating Island, I only have one goal and it was to become a King realm Alchemist.ʼ

Before the incident with the Golden-winged young man, Ajax had various goals like conquering a portion of the Floating Island, becoming a king-grade alchemist, and making his contracted spirit beasts and elemental spirit as powerful as possible while finding some mythical grade treasures.

However, after the incident, Ajax only had one goal and it was to become the King grade alchemist so that, once he leaves the floating island, he could collect enough world cores to upgrade his cultivation to the emperor realm.

ʼOnce I become an Emperor realm cultivator, I am confident in killing the mid-level Emperor cultivators on my own without using any bloodline or other trump cards.ʼ

Ajax was looking forward to the day he became an emperor realm cultivator and continued thinking about the things he could do, ʼAs for the high-level emperor realm cultivators, I can kill them even if I use my weakest bloodline.ʼ

ʼBy that time, Siora will also become a level 7 or 8 emperor realm cultivator and with her unique battle prowess, she could also kill the high-level emperor realm cultivators. If we fought together, taking down the Golden-winged young manʼs father was not a difficult thing.ʼ

Ajaxʼs bond with Siora had progressed a lot during the last one year in the floating island. Even though there was yet to progress a lot before they could share their bed, Ajax knew Siora would not hesitate to help him in taking down the Golden City.

ʼAnyway, it is time to resume my pill refinement.ʼ

Soon, Ajax went back to his pill refining process as his experience points were increasing a lot during these days.

For every four pill refinements, there would be one successful refinement and with each successful refinement, he would get 10000 experience points.

In a single day, Ajax would only refine 20 times. Even though he could do nearly 100 pill refinements, Ajax felt doing 20 pill refinements in a day was improving his success rate by a good margin.

Therefore, he settled with 20 pill refinements.

…..

Not only Ajax, but the incident also changed all his contracted spirit beasts and the elemental spirits. Even though Ajax didnʼt allow them to go out to conquer the land or fight the spirit beasts inside the floating island, he allowed them to cultivate.

Since the main benefit of entering the floating island was the time, Ajax didnʼt want his contracted spirit beasts and the elemental spirits to miss it.

Therefore, he strictly ordered them to find hidden caves close to him and quietly cultivate in them.

Whether it was their cultivation or laws, Ajax didnʼt care as it left it up to them.

Among all his summons, Raweth and Sparrow were more serious as they circulated their main cultivation technique to become the mid-level emperor realm spirit beasts.

Siora focused on her cultivation just like before as she devoured the world energy on the floating island.

Time continued to pass and another two years passed by in a flash,

ʼSwiishʼ

Suddenly, one of the hidden caves that were close to Ajaxʼs hideout glowed for a second, followed by Rurbeakʼs laughter, ”Finally, I can refine the high-level legend grade weapons with a 50 percent success rate. Whatʼs more, I even refined a special high-level legend grade weapon.”
