Naruto: Orochimaru's Disciple

Chapter 490: Chapter 490: The Ninja World United

Chapter 490: The Ninja World United

”Kumogakure... is willing to submit.”

The Fourth Raikage, A, lowered his head in humiliation.

His voice was low.

The spirit he once carried seemed to have vanished completely.

Darui turned his head away, unable to watch the scene directly. His heart was filled with sorrow. The highest leader of their village was bowing to another man at this very moment.

The Kumogakure ninja present all felt pain and struggle tearing through their hearts, but there was nothing they could do.

They could only watch in silence.

Some Kumogakure ninja even began to sob, while others had the look of people who had narrowly escaped death in their eyes.

Kenichi put away the experimental log in his hand.

He propped his chin up with one hand and watched the Fourth Raikage, A, with his legs crossed.

”Are you sure?”

Kenichi asked with a half-smile.

Why had he directly killed that idiot who had tried to attack him just now?

Naturally, it was to kill the chicken to scare the monkey.

And Kumogakure was the monkey.

Kenichi wanted the Fourth Raikage, A, to think clearly.

Was he going to vent his anger through impossible revenge, or was he going to kneel and surrender for the continuation of the entire village?

That was the question.

Loyalty and righteousness had always been difficult to balance.

The Fourth Raikage could not both preserve Kumogakure’s dignity and prevent it from suffering Kenichi’s wrath.

Kenichi’s attitude just now had been telling A that if he did not surrender, then even the ordinary people of Kumogakure would die.

”Confirmed!”

A practically gritted his teeth as he forced out the word.

Killer Bee was clearly unhappy.

He really did not want his brother to submit to Kenichi.

But Killer Bee also knew that the current Kumogakure truly had no right to say anything to Kenichi.

Moreover, the other three Ninja Villages had also surrendered.

Had Konoha, which was recognized as the strongest village in the Shinobi World, not also surrendered?

Thinking of this, Killer Bee’s heart felt a little better.

But only a little.

Immediately afterward, his heart was once again filled with humiliation and anger.

Kenichi stood up and walked in front of the Fourth Raikage, A.

Looking at the figure before him, gritting his teeth in unwillingness, an inexplicable sense of conquest surged through Kenichi’s heart.

He had succeeded.

He had successfully stood at the pinnacle of power in the Shinobi World.

Although he had not yet reached the pinnacle of strength, he had at least become the most respected person in the Shinobi World.

Kenichi took a deep breath.

He used both hands to help the trembling A stand.

The other party raised his head in humiliation, his bloodshot eyes staring intently at Kenichi, as if he wanted to bite off a piece of Kenichi’s flesh.

But he could do nothing.

He could only accept Kenichi’s superior posture in such a humiliating manner.

”A, I am delighted that Kumogakure can become part of the Land of Flame. You will see a new era.”

Kenichi spoke with a smile as he looked at the Fourth Raikage, A.

A gritted his teeth and said nothing.

He did not nod either.

He merely looked at Kenichi.

Kenichi took a deep breath, then raised his head and swept his gaze over the surroundings.

All the ninja, upon noticing his gaze, humbly lowered their heads.

Not a single one dared to meet his eyes.

Now, he had swept across the Five Great Nations, and the other smaller nations had also surrendered at the mere sight of his power.

It could be said that a brand-new Chapter of the Shinobi World had been opened by his hands.

If not for Madara and the Otsutsuki Clan, Kenichi could already declare himself invincible under heaven.

However, Madara and the Otsutsuki Clan hiding behind him were still the most important and dangerous presences in his heart.

Only by resolving them could the Shinobi World truly usher in ultimate peace.

However, before that, Kenichi still had other matters to resolve.

For example, how to handle the ninja of the Five Great Nations, how to distribute ninja missions, where to establish the capital of the country, and what political system to use.

Kenichi pinched his temples.

There was still a lot to do.

But it did not matter.

He had plenty of time now.

As long as there were no mishaps with Madara, the time spent waiting for the Five-Tails and Three-Tails to revive would be enough for Kenichi to continue improving his own strength.

By then, as long as his strength was sufficient, Kenichi would not care even if the Otsutsuki Clan jumped out.

However, it was also time to continue pushing scientific research.

Otherwise...

”Someone will come to arrange things for you later.”

Kenichi simply stated this.

Currently, the Land of Flame had specialized personnel to handle how to govern newly surrendered countries.

However, since the three major nations had now surrendered, Kenichi’s departmental staff would also need time to process the affairs of these countries in batches.

Although Kumogakure was the last to surrender, the Land of Lightning was already undergoing reforms, so Kumogakure could also be processed alongside it.

”How do you plan to deal with us?”

A asked.

Now that they had surrendered, although his heart was still heavy, he was more concerned about what would happen to the ninja of his village.

How would they live?

Where would they establish their village in the future?

These were all questions.

”You all stay here for now. I will send you invitations later.”

Kenichi had not decided yet, but there was no rush.

He would go back and discuss it with his think tank and Orochimaru. They should be able to come up with a proper solution by then.

However, the villages might need to undergo processes such as disbanding and reorganization.

After all, Kenichi could not simply let these ninja remain in their own villages.

If he did that, what was the point of unifying the Five Great Nations?

Was it not to blur the national concepts between the Five Great Nations and create an opportunity for the concept of the Land of Flame to take root deeply?

If these people were allowed to remain in their own villages, then deeply entrenched class divisions and village distinctions would still form. That could lead to major problems in the future.

It would be better to resolve everything at once now, leveraging the prestige of the nation’s founding.

Although there might be some conflicts in the short term, it would be better than these people never being able to integrate.

”Managing it really is troublesome... Are there any excellent managers in the Shinobi World?”

Kenichi pinched his temples.

He truly had no experience managing a country, and there were many matters to handle.

He needed to find some reliable people to help him manage this vast country so that he could have dedicated time for research.

Kenichi’s gaze swept across the ninja present.

He remembered that Kakashi would become the Sixth Hokage in the future.

Then the next Raikage of Kumogakure seemed to be Darui, while the next Tsuchikage of Iwagakure was Kurotsuchi.

Since these people could hold the position of Kage in the future, they should have some experience in management.

However, these issues still needed careful consideration.

Watching Kenichi leave, A silently glanced at the two elders of Konoha and the ANBU squad, then snorted coldly and turned to leave.

”Let’s go back to the village. Tell everyone to behave themselves during this period.”

Homura sighed.

Now, there was no longer Konoha or the Land of Fire in the Shinobi World.

In the future, there would only be one country.

The Land of Flame.

”He really did it.”

Shisui muttered blankly as he looked at the Land of Flame Daily in his hand.

Although he had guessed that Kenichi would surely unify the Five Great Nations, when Kenichi truly accomplished it, Shisui still felt an inexplicable sense of disbelief.

It exceeded even his imagination.

On the front page of the Land of Flame Daily, which imitated newspapers from Kenichi’s previous life, there was a breaking news headline.

[The Ninja World United!]

Below it, the article stated that all Five Great Nations of the Shinobi World had surrendered, and all small nations in the Shinobi World had also surrendered.

They now had only one national name.

The Land of Flame.

[Every citizen of the Land of Flame may travel freely within the country without worrying about conflicts caused by entering different nations. In the future, there will only be one nation in the Shinobi World. All under heaven is the king’s land!]

Shisui found it difficult to imagine.

Before this, he had been pondering the relationship between his clan and the village, thinking about how to forge a suitable path for the Uchiha Clan, striving for both his clan and the village.

But in the blink of an eye, Kenichi had directly swept through the Five Great Nations and successfully turned the entire world into a single nation.

What a magnificent feat.

”Our Uchiha Clan... can now live freely in this world.”

Shisui took a deep breath.

He naturally understood what the unification of the Shinobi World meant.

After all, with the Shinobi World unified, and with no more concepts of Ninja Villages and separate nations, the entire world would be one country.

Under such circumstances, the previous First, Second, and Third Great Ninja Wars would naturally no longer occur.

People could have a bright future.

Peace had settled upon this world, revealing a glimpse of the goddess of peace’s skirt to this land that had been ravaged by war for so many years.

However, how should ninja live?

Should ninja still take on missions?

What about ninja and ordinary people?

How should bandits and similar threats be handled?

These would all become problems for this country.

But at least, now there was no need to worry about countless ninja being sent to the battlefield.

”Big Brother Shisui!”

Itachi ran in happily.

Young as he was, his face radiated the liveliness of youth, and he seemed to be in a very good mood.

”Itachi? What brings you here?”

Shisui teasingly looked at Itachi.

He knew that Itachi seemed to have a girl he cared about.

They often sat by the lake talking, and Itachi would even take the girl to eat dango.

So Shisui was thinking that he should be receiving Itachi’s wedding invitation in the future.

”Well, I saw this big news today, and Naruto also came to play with Sasuke, so I came to chat with you.”

Itachi chuckled and handed the Land of Flame Daily in his hand to Shisui.

However, he then noticed that Shisui also had the same newspaper in his hand, making him show a slightly embarrassed smile.

Shisui looked at the newspaper in his hand and could not help clicking his tongue again.

Although he had already marveled at it, even so, he still wanted to marvel again and again.

Such a magnificent achievement had been accomplished by Kenichi, who was only slightly older than himself?

It was simply unbelievable.

”Naruto... are you talking about that child who was called the fox demon in the village before?”

Shisui thought of something and looked at Itachi as he asked.

Itachi nodded.

Indeed, it was the child who had previously been called a fox demon in the village.

But now everyone knew that Naruto was not a fox demon.

He was now the disciple of the Land of Flame’s Daimyo.

No.

Kenichi did not like being called Daimyo.

He had everyone call him Sensei.

So Naruto was the disciple of this country’s Sensei.

His status was exalted.

”Naruto is also a very well-behaved child. He and Sasuke will become good friends.”

When Itachi thought of Naruto, he could not help smiling.

Although he did not know why, Itachi noticed that Naruto and Sasuke seemed naturally close.

They had only just met, yet they were already playing together.

Meanwhile, their mother, Mikoto, was chatting with Kushina, seemingly discussing the matter of resurrecting the dead.

”With Naruto around...”

Shisui fell into thought.

He knew what Mikoto was thinking.

This poor woman wanted to resurrect her husband, Fugaku, and it seemed that only Kenichi in the entire Shinobi World could resurrect people.

So Mikoto must be very happy that Naruto could play with Sasuke.

”Sasuke! I’ve already eaten... hic... ten dumplings!”

Naruto proudly shook the bamboo skewer in his hand.

Sasuke glared at Naruto, then picked up another dango and continued eating with determination.

Eating one dango was nothing.

One skewer was nice.

Two skewers were just right.

But eating too many would become cloying.

Sasuke was already feeling somewhat sick of them now.

He could barely eat anymore.

But in order not to lose to Naruto, Sasuke still tried hard to eat the dango in his hand, stubbornly showing his refusal to admit defeat.

”Naruto has grown up too, Kushina.”

The aged Mikoto sat on the tatami, looking kindly at Sasuke and Naruto below as the two competed to see who could eat more.

”Yes, Mikoto, but you...”

Kushina glanced at her friend beside her.

She and Mikoto had a good relationship.

When Mikoto died before, she had been a beautiful young woman.

But now, Mikoto had become like this, looking old and frail.

Judging by her appearance, she looked like Kushina’s mother.

However, Kushina also knew why Mikoto had become like this.

It was because Mikoto’s husband had died, and died horribly.

Mikoto had worried excessively, which caused her to become like this.

Kushina looked at Naruto below.

Speaking of which, Minato had not been resurrected yet.

Should she go ask Kenichi?
