Chapter 461: Obito: Where’s My Rin?

”I thought it was some unique ninjutsu, but it turns out to be this Wood Golem Jutsu again.”

A looked at the Wood Golem rising from the ground, a hint of disdain appearing on his face.

Although the Wood Golem was huge and looked extremely intimidating, in the eyes of A, who could split Wood Golems apart with his bare hands, it seemed like a trick that had already run its course.

He had thought Kenichi was going to use some powerful new Wood Release ninjutsu.

In the end, it was still just the Wood Golem Jutsu.

Tsunade looked at the Wood Golem in front of her.

This time, Kenichi had not covered the Wood Golem with Susanoo armor, as if he no longer had much combat power left.

But Tsunade vaguely felt that something was wrong.

Kenichi, this little rascal, was extremely talented in ninjutsu and had also mastered Sage Mode. The powerful Sage Art ninjutsu he had displayed until now proved that.

But Kenichi’s combat instincts were also very sharp.

So why would he continue using this ninjutsu when he already knew it could not pose a major threat?

Tsunade knew very well that Kenichi, this little rascal, had many trump cards.

There was no reason for him to continue using this ninjutsu, especially after the Fourth Raikage had already dismantled his Wood Golem and Susanoo. This time, he had not even armored it with Susanoo.

If Kenichi truly only had these few tricks, he would never have been able to kill Jiraiya.

Although Kenichi had not yet used the terrifying Lightning Release ninjutsu that Fukasaku Sage had mentioned, Tsunade’s vigilance remained at its peak.

”Shadow Clone Jutsu!”

Kenichi did not stop.

He created two Shadow Clones without hesitation.

Then two more Wood Golems rose from the ground.

This consumption instantly drained a large chunk of chakra from Kenichi, but with the support of his Sage Body, he could still endure it.

At that moment, Kenichi suddenly felt a surge of pure chakra appear inside his body, replenishing the portion he had just consumed. 𝒻𝑟ℯℯ

Kenichi was startled for a moment.

But he quickly understood that Hikari was probably helping him replenish his chakra.

”...That little girl.”

Kenichi shook his head.

He did not actually need this chakra replenishment at all.

With Nagato’s help, Kenichi did not think he would be pushed into such a desperate situation while dealing with the four Kage in front of him.

As a descendant of the Uzumaki Clan, Nagato possessed an enormous amount of chakra.

As long as Nagato did not use the Shinra Tensei that flattened Konoha, his endurance would last for a very long time.

The only other thing Kenichi was worried about was something else.

Black Zetsu and Obito.

Those two were nowhere to be found.

Kenichi was worried about whether Black Zetsu would discover his cooperation with Nagato and then decide to reclaim Nagato’s Rinnegan.

Nagato’s current strength was inseparable from his Rinnegan.

If Nagato’s Rinnegan were taken and given to Obito, that would become even more troublesome.

Kenichi shook his head.

Now was not the time to think about these things.

He looked at the four Kage in front of him, his eyes serious.

Three Wood Golems standing together created enough intimidation through sheer size alone.

However, that intimidation was only useful against ordinary ninja.

If he wanted the four Kage to feel truly threatened, the Wood Golems would probably need to be fully armored with Susanoo.

However, Kenichi had no such intention.

Continuously using Susanoo over a short period consumed a great deal of ocular power, unless it had already evolved into the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan.

Otherwise, maintaining Susanoo for three Wood Golems was not very cost effective.

Kenichi knew that none of the four people in front of him were easy to deal with.

They all had their own ways to counter Susanoo-armored Wood Golems.

Instead of wasting time like that, it would be better to...

Kenichi narrowed his eyes and looked at A’s leg.

Countless elements appeared in Kenichi’s vision, then slowly...

”Don’t let him stare at you for too long! He has an ability that can make things he sees disappear!”

Tsunade stomped the ground, kicking up dirt and blocking Kenichi’s line of sight.

Kenichi felt a little annoyed.

Although most human bodies were similar, it was impossible to find two people who were completely identical.

Some subtle differences were enough to distinguish one person from another.

For example, if two men stood side by side, and one had a scar on his leg while the other did not, then there would be differences in the elemental composition of their bodies.

Once there were differences, it became very difficult to apply a single template.

Even the amount of subcutaneous fat might differ.

Because of that, Kenichi’s idea of fully deconstructing one person to create a template for quickly identifying others was rather difficult to achieve.

Of course, the main reason was that Kenichi’s current eyes could not support too much consumption.

Before he could confirm that he could create the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, even Kenichi himself did not dare use his eyes casually.

Otherwise, it would be ridiculous if his eyes went blind.

Although he could also transplant another person’s Mangekyo Sharingan, that would not truly solve the problem.

It would only be a temporary fix.

Only by solving the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan could he truly use Mangekyo Sharingan dojutsu freely.

Kenichi did not have the luxury to think too much, because with Tsunade’s attack and warning, the battle began once again.

The giant Wood Golem swung its fist, smashing down toward Mei’s head.

Mei’s wound had not fully healed.

Although Tsunade had helped her, her movements were still somewhat awkward.

When a person was injured, the pain of the wound would restrict their movement.

Although Tsunade had quickly healed Mei, it still took the body a short period of time to adapt.

During that time, Mei might make some awkward movements because of the memory of her previous injury.

”Lava Release: Melting Apparition Technique!”

Mei spat out a stream of acid without hesitation.

The acid sprayed onto the Wood Golem, instantly corroding wounds into it.

However, Wood Release itself could rival Sage Art because this Kekkei Genkai was extremely powerful and naturally possessed a certain degree of regeneration.

Coupled with Kenichi’s chakra infusion, the wounds on the Wood Golem quickly showed signs of recovery.

But how could the four Kage just stand by and do nothing?

Tsunade’s powerful kick instantly shattered the Wood Golem’s body, sending wooden fragments flying in all directions and scattering them across the ground.

”So easy to deal with?”

Tsunade looked at the fallen Wood Golem and the dismissed Shadow Clone. Her eyes narrowed slightly, and the strange feeling in her heart became even stronger.

But before she could think any further, countless streams of Gold Dust surged toward her, trying to drag her underground.

Tsunade could only focus on dealing with the resurrected Rasa.

The battlefield suddenly became somewhat chaotic.

Nagato looked at the besieged Wood Golems.

He always felt that his collaborator was planning something.

But what exactly did Kenichi intend to do?

These Wood Golems looked intimidating, but in an actual fight, they were just for show.

”Universal Pull!”

Nagato stretched out his hand, and a pulling force dragged Mei toward him.

At the same time, the ninjutsu Onoki was preparing to attack him with was absorbed.

Nagato silently chose two opponents.

As for Raikage A and Tsunade, both of them were taijutsu-type ninja.

Their attention had been completely drawn by Kenichi’s Wood Golems, and for a moment, they had no room to pay attention to the much smaller Nagato below.

The sky slowly darkened.

Kenichi narrowed his eyes.

This battle had already lasted for some time.

By now, all the Wood Golems Kenichi had previously made had been dismantled, and wooden fragments lay scattered everywhere.

Kenichi and Nagato exchanged glances.

Nagato instantly understood Kenichi’s meaning.

Their battles gradually drew closer together.

When the four Kage were positioned near each other, Kenichi launched a fierce assault.

Rasa, whose body was half destroyed, clung tightly to Mei.

Even though his body was corroded down to the bone by acid, he showed no intention of letting go.

Kenichi’s Mangekyo Sharingan genjutsu activated at full power.

Together with the resurrected Pain bodies, he entangled the other three Kage.

Immediately afterward, the Deva Path of Pain floated into the air.

A wider-range Shinra Tensei instantly sent the four Kage flying.

It also sent Kenichi and Rasa flying with them.

However, Kenichi had prepared beforehand and stabilized his body in advance.

Looking at the four Kage scattering in all directions, he revealed a faint smile.

”It’s almost time.”

Kenichi took a deep breath.

To be honest, this battle had somewhat exceeded his expectations.

It had lasted too long, to the point where even Kenichi felt his scalp tingle.

Now, Kenichi only wanted to end this battle quickly and go back to check how his clone was progressing.

”Sage Art!”

Kenichi gathered a large amount of chakra inside his body.

The dismissal of his Shadow Clones had greatly increased the chakra in his body, and it was at least enough to handle the current situation.

Surging chakra continuously flowed into the Wood Release fragments scattered across the ground.

Immediately afterward, trees sprouted from those fragments, almost instantly covering the entire forest.

”Is this Deep Forest Emergence?”

Tsunade looked at the battlefield that had been instantly separated by dense trees, somewhat startled.

But she quickly realized that now was not the time to stand there in a daze.

These Wood Release trees were absorbing her chakra.

Although the absorption speed was very slow, the sheer number of trees made it effective.

Almost anyone standing on these trees would have their chakra slowly absorbed.

And the more trees they came into contact with, the more chakra would be absorbed.

Kenichi looked at the forest in front of him without any hesitation.

He continued forming hand seals.

Thick fog billowed out, constantly churning and obscuring the traces of battle within the forest.

Fire Release was extinguished inside this forest.

The animals that had lived in this forest died silently within it.

The trees were so dense that they pressed against one another, catching these creatures completely off guard and squeezing them directly into the gaps between the trunks until nothing remained.

Aside from the sounds of ninja fighting, every other sound vanished.

It was as if this battlefield had been pulled into another world.

The blanket of thick fog had originally been easy to deal with.

But when paired with these dense trees, the fog also became troublesome.

Wind Release had little effect against the trees.

Fire Release was directly smothered by the thick mist, unable to produce even a spark.

”What are you going to do?”

Nagato walked up to Kenichi.

This was the area Kenichi had left uncovered by trees.

”Naturally, we’ll defeat them one by one.”

Kenichi shrugged.

His intention this time was to defeat them separately.

Although he could use Wood Release ninjutsu like True Several Thousand Hands, driven by caution, Kenichi still did not want to expend too much chakra.

Otherwise, if any unexpected situation arose, it would become troublesome.

”Let’s go.”

Nagato nodded.

He could see that the main purpose of this ninjutsu was to divide the battlefield and create opportunities for them to launch sneak attacks.

That would reduce the number of enemies as much as possible and give them an advantage in the following battle.

So, who would be the first target?

There was no doubt about it.

Naturally, it would be the weakest one.

Unfortunately, Rasa was already dead.

Otherwise, Kenichi would not need to think much.

But with Rasa dead, Kenichi’s target fell on one person.

Mei.

Was Mei weak?

Kenichi actually thought she had strength.

Otherwise, she would never have become the new Mizukage.

But compared to Onoki and A, Mei was easier to bully.

As for Tsunade, even though she was missing a fist, Kenichi was worried that killing Tsunade would make a certain Blue Beast of Konoha decide that it was time to sacrifice himself, open the Gate of Death, and kick him.

That kick should be left for Madara, that unlucky guy, to take.

So Mei was naturally the best choice.

”Rin.”

In the capital of the Land of Flame, Obito descended from the sky.

Looking at this strange yet familiar city, a trace of fervor flashed through Obito’s eyes.

The journey had been smooth.

He had encountered no obstacles.

Obito also noticed that the Land of Flame’s defenses seemed somewhat weak, with few ninja visible on the streets.

This gave Obito some confidence in taking Rin away.

Thinking of his beautiful future life with Rin, Obito’s heart could not help leaping with joy.

He hurried inside and found the place where Rin used to live.

But there was no one here.

Obito froze.

He found a piece of paper on the table, pressed down by a cup.

Beside it was a pair of socks.

Obito walked over, puzzled.

[Rin Nohara’s socks. If you want to find Rin Nohara, please go to the Land of Sunset, the place where the sun can be held in your hands.]

”???”

Obito almost typed out a few question marks.

What did this mean?

.....
