Chapter 342: Ragnarok entered Ethan’s origin sea

The woman in the corner looked toward Ethan with sadist eyes. She wanted to take Ethan right away, but she had to play the role of the supremacy who came into this world to give all the factions an opportunity.

If any faction had a heir who could catch her eyes, she would give that faction the opportunity to surpass the origin being realm.

She came here 100 years ago and searched the entire 36th sky as well as other places in the origin dimension to find out the corpse of a person who was rumoured to be buried here.

But even after 100 years, she couldn’t find the corpse, and that’s why she had to reveal herself in front of the natives of this mausoleum.

After a long discussion with them, she found out that there was indeed a legend about a supreme being born here, but it was said that his cultivation palace would appear only after the origin dimension had a powerful new generation whose potential even surpassed him.

So the entire origin dimension was waiting for such a prodigy.

But someone like him never appeared here. The woman stayed here from then and offered all the origin families that if someone that powerful ever appeared among them and they were willing to give him or her to her, she would surely let that family ascend to a higher cultivation realm.

Her name was Athena Celestine. She was the beloved daughter of the sector lord Edmond Celestine.

This mission was given to her by her father. If she could bring back this corpse to her father, he would give her the permission to play with as many men as she wanted. He would even help her find handsome men across the world.

....

Ethan went to meet with some prominent figures of the 36th sky after finishing his speech.

He knew he would have to fight those 9 star factions one day, and he wanted to use his own power to do that.

Using the full power of his former self was not a good idea, as his former self clearly warned him that there was a far superior world outside where there were entities as powerful as his former self.

Just as he was about to shake hands with someone from a 5 star family, a shadow came into his view.

It was Aren.

”Hello my friend. Have you forgotten about me? You have won the last competition, how about we continue the competition?” Aren asked with a smile.

Ethan already knew this Aren had something wrong with him, but he also smiled back at him.

”Last time we bet something. Shouldn’t we do something like that too this time?” Ethan asked.

”Of course. What do you like this time?”

”How about the loser becomes the slave of the winner?” Ethan asked with a smile again.

Aren became shocked. A smile wanted to form on his face, but he was trying his best not to show that right now. He wanted to use tricks to possess Ethan’s body, but the victim willingly gave him a chance as if he was desperate to lose his body.

But he said with a calm tone:

”Don’t you think it’s a bit too extreme? What if you lose and your origin temple doesn’t want to fulfil the deal?” he asked.

Ethan looked at the 30th dimensional being.

”Can we do that, Master Hong?”

Master Hong didn’t reply immediately. He knew this new son of god was very powerful, but he also learned that the son of god of the Eldorian family was also a supreme prodigy.

If Ethan lost, Eldorian would get 2 supreme prodigies who had potential surpassing the master of the temple.

But if Ethan won, they would get that opportunity instead.

It was worth taking the risk. If Ethan lost he would just kill both of them so that the power struggle remained the same, but if Ethan won, he would use his entire power of the temple to protect him.

”Are you sure you want to do this?” he asked Ethan with a calm expression.

”Yes sir,” Ethan confirmed.

”Very well then.” Hong agreed to their proposal.

Aren gave a small smile.

”Then shall we make an origin pact? The one who violates the condition, his origin source will be destroyed.”

”How does this brat know something like an origin pact?” Hong was greatly surprised. This pact would be made between the two contenders as well as their backing factions. So no backing faction could violate the rule too, of course unless they were more powerful than the supreme will of the origin dimension itself.

Hong became immediately worried. If the boy knew something like this and wanted to do it, that meant he had some sort of trump card in his sleeve. What should he do?

”Alright. I agree,” Ethan nodded. Ethan already knew what this meant. He had merged with the memory of his former self. So there was not a word in the origin dimension that he wasn’t familiar with.

Hong’s eyes widened.

”Do you know what this means?”

”Yes sir. I know. Please don’t worry,” Ethan said lightly.

It was not like Hong could go back on his word after agreeing with the duel. If he opposed the idea of the origin pact, that would make it clear that he had ulterior motives.

”Boy, to form an origin pact, the Eldorian need to send their 30th dimensional being as well.”

”Ah! Don’t worry about that my friend. I am already here.” An old man appeared from the space crack.

Hong was surprised that he couldn’t feel his presence until now. What was going on? They had similar levels of power, he was even a little more powerful than him, then how come he couldn’t sense his presence?

Aren gave a light smile. It was because of his knowledge— the 30th dimensional being stationed in the family was able to comprehend more than 0.3 percent of the source of existence, which made him the strongest 30th dimensional being right now in the 36th sky.

”Shall we form the pact then?” the old man asked with a calm smile.

”Ethan, everything depends on you now. Show me what you have. If you can defeat him, I’ll give 5 origin fruit from 5 sources,” Hong said with a serious tone.

Instantly gasps could be heard among the guests. One origin fruit could help someone form 100 billion gray seals. 5 origin fruit meant 50 light brown seals instantly. Higher quality fruit could form even more.

How they envied the origin temple to have such treasures in bulk.

Ethan nodded at him confidently.

Hong stepped forward and raised his hand. The old man from the Eldorian family did the same.

A round white seal appeared between them, where half of it was filled by the energy of Hong and half of it was filled with the other side.

A pact was now formed. Now no party could violate the conditions. If they did, the supreme will would take action personally.

Aren showed a gentleman-like gesture with his hand to Ethan to say:

”Shall we go to the arena?”

Ethan nodded at him and directly went to the arena.

The woman licked her lips from the corner.

”Show me what you have got, my little puppets.”

Ethan and Aren now stood face to face.

Aren didn’t waste any time and directly vanished from his place and appeared at Ethan’s side to attack him.

Ethan didn’t make any move till now and he just raised his index finger to block the fist.

As soon as the fist and finger collided, Aren flew away like a ragdoll.

Ethan had the strength of a 10th dimensional being. How would Aren be his match?

But Ethan just showed the power of the peak 4th dimensional being with 1 trillion golden seals.

Aren’s face turned pale with horror and excitement.

”How is this possible? How can he have such a level of power? I want his secret at any cost. That body will be mine.”

Aren vanished again from his place. Ethan however didn’t move from his place. He wanted to know what was the deal with Aren.

Aren again appeared in front of Ethan and this time he didn’t intend to attack him.

As soon as his fist collided with Ethan’s, the ancient demon entered Ethan’s body.

[System alert! Emergency! Foreign energy entered master’s body! Activating extinction mode.

10..9..8..7..6..5]

Yumiko’s eyes widened in horror. She couldn’t feel anything right now. But the system detected it. That meant something far superior to her power entered Ethan’s body which automatically activated the extinction mode.

This would destroy any foreign substance the system deemed harmful for Ethan.

But it would cause tremendous damage to his own body too. But it was a necessary evil. It had to do it.

But just as the countdown was about to hit 0, it stopped. Something deep inside Ethan’s origin ordered the system to stop.

The ancient demon, Ragnarok, appeared in Ethan’s sea of origin, which was the source of all power of Ethan.

He had a wide grin until now, thinking he successfully did it. Now even if he took Ethan’s body, no one could do anything.

But then came the terror.

His heart almost stopped when he saw the roaring ocean of infinite origin energy of Ethan.

”No, how is this possible? This can’t be. How can his body have infinite energy?”

The pressure of this ocean was too much to bear.

But with this came a tremendous excitement.

”Hahahahahaha. I am rich. This body has the potential which infinitely surpassed even that entity. Who the fuck will stop me now?”

But his joy didn’t last long.

”Is that so?” he heard an unhurried voice in his ear.
