Chapter 304: Otherworldly Demon

”Ancestor, please don’t do anything in a rush,” Sofia became horrified.

Seeing Sofia’s reaction, the old man became astonished.

”Kid, do you really think that man is stronger than me? I am the strongest man in the entire human realm, you know.”

Sofia took a deep breath.

”Ancestor, please forgive my rudeness. But I really think you are not a match for him. He released his pressure on me that time, which I believe was just a small portion of his aura, but that pressure was more than a hundred times stronger than your pressure,” Sofia replied without any hesitation.

”Is that so? Then I would really like to meet a person like him. Don’t worry, I won’t do anything in a rush,” though he said that, there was still doubt in his eyes.

Sofia also saw that, but what could she do? Let the old man suffer like her, then he would understand.

Soon, they prepared a flying vessel to carry the Empress to the Sage Village.

The Emperor and the Ancestor, both of them were going with her, and Sofia tagged along too.

When their flying vessel entered the territory of the Valeria Empire, others also saw it.

”That’s the flying ship of the Aurion Empire’s royal family, right? They have sent people from their royal family to confront the Sword God. That man sure is formidable,” the Emperor and his son discussed among themselves.

”Shall we follow them, Father? I want to see how they crush that arrogant Sword God. He dared to even declare war against us,” the Prince suddenly said to his father.

”That’s an excellent idea. Let’s go,” the Emperor agreed immediately.

”Your Majesty, we also want to follow you,” the court members said.

They wanted to see the destruction of the Divine Palace with their own eyes.

In the Sage Village,

”Hey, why aren’t you going back to your Divine Palace? Is there nothing important to do?” Ethan asked Rey.

Rey was wolfing down some meat and rice.

”I’ll wait for her to arrive here. I can’t let you stay alone. What if she attacks you if you can’t heal her patient?”

Ethan rolled his eyes.

”Do you think I can’t treat her? Besides, even if she attacks, can you defeat her? Then what’s the benefit?”

Rey became annoyed.

”Don’t talk too much nonsense. Give me more meat, and that fruit juice too. It tastes great.”

Ethan sighed and gave him more food, but suddenly he looked up.

”Oh? They have already arrived? They didn’t take much time, and looks like that old man is their ancestor.”

Ethan had noticed them the moment they entered the Valeria Empire’s territory.

The flying ship was very fast and arrived at the Sage Village soon.

”Ancestor, we should park our ship outside the village. Otherwise, it would be rude to enter the village territory without permission,” Sofia said with a frightened look on her face.

”I am the ancestor of the Aurion Empire, the strongest existence in the human realm. Even if this mysterious expert is stronger than me, he should give me this much face, right?” the old man said with a smile.

”The old man really needs to learn a lesson. Otherwise, he won’t understand,” Sofia thought with disdain.

They were just about to enter the village, but their ship clashed with an invisible barrier.

The entire ship started trembling. It was a good thing that the ship had its own protection mechanism against such collisions.

”What is this? A barrier?” the ancestor was surprised. He tried pressing his hand against the barrier to see if it could pass through, but he failed.

He felt a little embarrassed in front of everyone, so he started pressing even harder.

At one point, he started floating in the air and pressed with his full might against the barrier. If he had done this on the ship, it would have broken into pieces.

After trying for a bit, the old man turned red with embarrassment, especially when he saw the disdain in Sofia’s eyes.

Sofia couldn’t bear to watch her ancestor’s foolish behavior anymore.

”Senior, please allow us in. We will be grateful.”

As soon as she said that, the barrier seemed to come alive and opened enough space for the spaceship to pass through.

The old man came back to the ship like a defeated warrior and sighed.

”I have aged quite a bit. I am not in my prime anymore.”

Sofia couldn’t help but roll her eyes.

”Old geezer, you are now at your most prime time,” she wanted to say that but didn’t.

The flying ship entered through the barrier and went directly above the lake.

The villagers came to see the flying ship.

”What a large ship. Can we get on it, Mother?” a kid aroun 6 years old asked his mother.

”Don’t talk nonsense. They are the guests of the Sage. Don’t be disrespectful.”

The boy stopped talking.

”What’s wrong with these people? Even a normal boy is a Tier 2 being,” the ancestor said with horror in his eyes.

It felt like they had entered a higher-dimensional monster region. Even a child was born powerful.

Actually, they were this powerful because Ethan would arrange two healing sessions for the villagers every month.

Throughout the past two years, without even realizing it, they had become like this.

Now everyone would go to different empires to work in the morning and come back to the village at night.

Their village was the richest place in the human realm, even more than the ten empires in the central continent combined.

Everyone came out from the ship. An old man, a beautiful woman, a handsome young man, and a coffin-like box were floating behind them. The box had a transparent upper lid.

An extremely beautiful woman could be seen sleeping peacefully inside.

They slowly stepped on the air and went toward Ethan’s house, a small yet beautiful house.

When they came down, they saw an extremely handsome young man, even more handsome than Emperor Zenos, sitting on a chair. A white fat cat was on his lap.

Another young man was standing beside him, looking toward them vigilantly.

”We have brought her here, Sage,” Sofia said respectfully.

She referred to Ethan as Sage, like everyone else.

Ethan nodded.

He stood up and went to see the woman through the transparent lid.

”Be careful, Ethan,” Rey muttered.

Ethan looked at the old man, ”Old man, you seem to be injured very badly. Who injured you like this, the strongest man in the human realm?”

The old man was embarrassed and surprised at the same time.

This man looked like a young kid. Though experts could hide their age, not to this extent.

Besides, he could tell that he was injured, even though no one knew about it.

He had been injured since the day he fought that otherworldly demon. Though he told everyone that he killed that demon with a wave of his hand.

”We can talk later. Open the lid for now,” Ethan said as he looked at the woman in the box.

”Sage, her skin is extremely sensitive to the outside environment. The moment we open the lid, her body starts to rot away even though she is a Tier 10 existence.”

Ethan didn’t say anything and waited for them to open the lid.

Zenos looked at Sofia and nervously opened it.

But to their utmost surprise, her body was perfectly fine.

”What’s going on? How is this possible?” Zenos muttered.

Ethan didn’t react much, as if he had expected this outcome.

Then he extended his right hand over her face and activated his healing talent.

A gentle energy started to enter her body, and instantly her entire body began to rot away.

Zenos started panicking when he saw this. Could this little boy really save his wife? He began to doubt.

Ethan snorted coldly.

”Playing hide and seek, aren’t we?” he said, increasing the flow of energy.

Suddenly, the woman opened her eyes. But they were pitch black.

”Brat, stay away from my business, or else this woman will die for sure.”

But Ethan didn’t care. He suddenly snapped his fingers, and the entire world seemed to turn black.

Ethan started floating in the air. His body grew, and soon he became like Ethan Hunt in his dream.

His eyes were cold. A pressure gushed out from his body so intense that the old man instantly knelt down along with Sofia and Zenos.

This could only be seen by them. Ethan had separated the world with his domain.

The woman inside the coffin started to float in the air.

”Separation.”, Ethan muttered.

Instantly, her body and soul separated.

Her soul was not hers. It was a mixture of her and a terrifying demon.

The ancestor started to shake. Only he knew the horror of that monster.

”How can this be possible? I surely killed him using my ancestral weapon, the Seal of Destruction.”

The demon said with disdain, ”Old dog, do you think you killed me that day with your meager strength?”
