Chapter 265: Entering the Battlefield

Ethan vanished from his room and appeared in the Realm of Inheritance.

The spirit of the realm appeared in front of him.

”Young master, how have you been?”

Ethan smiled at the spirit and said, ”Oh, I am doing great. What about you? Are you lonely? Do you need a wife or something?”

The spirit laughed out loudly.

”Do you need something?”

Ethan looked at the inheritance tower and nodded. ”Yeah, I’ll be going. Take care.”

”You too, young master.”

Ethan entered the tower and directly went to the Technology Room first to see Po. His evolution was completed, and now he was just absorbing knowledge.

Then he entered the Weapon Room and chose four suitable weapons for the four of them.

They would be unstoppable with these weapons.

A hammer for his grandpa, a pair of gauntlet for his father, a flying Chinese fan for his mother, and a sword for his sister.

Those all were the absolute peak weapons for Tier 0 beings.

After choosing the weapons, he chose four full-body battle armors for them. These could protect them from the attack of a Tier 3.

The selection was done, and he came outside the Technology Room to wait for Po to finish.

Fifteen minutes later, Po opened his eyes and looked outside.

”Boss! I am now a 60th Generation AI. I can now control hundreds of thousands Chaos Verses easily, but still a long way from controlling a reality. For that, I would have to become a 100th Generation AI.”

Po looked magnificent now.

Ethan nodded at him with satisfaction.

”Let’s go. A great adventure is waiting for us. I think it’s also time for Vayn to take action. He has been training for too long. Now it is time to put them into combat.”

Ethan appeared in his room, then let Vayn come out from his inner world. He was now a Tier 2 being.

Ethan then gave a brief to Vayn about the situation and everything that he needed to know.

Vayn was very interested in this game-like system, and he also started playing the game.

Ethan went outside his room and saw they were still playing games. They were actually enjoying the game.

Ethan didn’t disturb them. They needed to play the game. It was created by him. He created the game as a VR system after taking the details about the Battle System from his own system.

Now they could gain prior experience about what to do after entering the battlefield.

They had one more day, so there was no hurry.

But the entire world was in chaos. Some didn’t believe, some started taking preparation.

Ryo contacted him a while ago, but Ethan wasn’t here.

He called him back.

”What’s up?”

”How are you so calm in a situation like this? Aren’t you tense about your family? The president asked everyone to gather in the headquarters,” Ryo said from the opposite side.

Ethan listened to his complaints and then said, ”Calm down and meet me at my house in 20 minutes.”

He hung up the phone.

Ryo, on the opposite side, was frustrated. Ethan was like a disciple to him, so he was worried for him.

”Damn that brat.”

Ryo started running toward Ethan’s house and soon arrived there.

Ethan was sipping a cup of tea in the front yard and reading a book like a scholar.

”What the heck are you even doing? Why did you call me here?”

Ethan snapped his fingers, and a piece of information went inside Ryo’s head.

”Now use this breathing form. This is an advanced version of your own form. And sit down here.”

Ryo got the breathing technique as well as a glimpse of Ethan’s power, so he didn’t waste any time and sat down.

The advanced Earth Breathing technique started to run in Ryo’s body, and his body started to become stronger.

Five hours later, he became the 6th Epic-ranked Demon Slayer and also the strongest Epic-ranked one.

”Now go to the headquarters and give everyone this game. This will prove helpful.”

Ryo didn’t know what to say and what not to say anymore.

The young man he thought was his disciple turned out to be a master.

Ryo was now going toward the headquarters of the Demon Slayers.

Ethan, however, was thinking about the demons, then the vampires, the king of the vampires. Would they really help to kill the dark creatures?

They were a kind of dark creature themselves.

Wouldn’t they betray them in the battlefield? Should he kill all the demons on the planet and also those shitty vampires?

”System, would those demons and vampires and creatures like them also go inside the battlefield?”

[Yes]

Damn! But if he killed them now, would he become the enemy of the Battle System or something?

Anyway, his family would be safe. That’s what mattered the most.

Besides, most of those demons were mindless. Would they even choose to go inside?

After thinking for a bit, he didn’t take action.

He should break through one more time before entering there.

But that would take some time. Ethan was about to enter his room again to make his breakthrough preparation.

But then he saw that the four of them were now awakened.

So he went to them and asked, ”How was it?”

”It was so fun, brother. I leveled up to 10. Killed many monsters. Father, mother, and grandpa also leveled up to 10.”

Ethan patted her head.

”Good to hear it. Now take these weapons and battle suits and get familiar with them.”

Then he looked at Erina.

”Erina, your Martial Spirit is special. You should try to use this to become as powerful as possible. This is a huge opportunity for you.”

”Okay, brother.”

Then the four of them went to the outside field to practice with those new weapons.

They would enter the battlefield tomorrow.

Ethan went to his room this time.

The next morning,

He finally broke through to Level 9 Black Hole Realm.

[Master: Ethan Hunt

Now he was ready for any situation at hand. The highest-tier battlefield was Tier 18, and he was 17.5 times more powerful than a Tier 18 right now. But he would enter the Tier 3 battlefield as his main cultivation realm was actually Tier 3.

Then he would slowly challenge each upper-tier battlefield and gain rewards from there.

He went to the field where the four of them were still practicing.

As soon as Ethan arrived, they stopped their practice session and looked at him.

”Are you ready?” Ethan asked.

”Yes, we are.”

”Okay then.”

Ethan healed them from all the fatigue and planted a source of energy inside their bodies like his other parents.

It would protect them, give them energy, and also heal them if he was not with them.

”You should hold each other’s hands and enter the battlefield now.”

”Battle System, we would like to enter the battlefield.”

They said in a synchronized manner.

[You are being teleported to the Tier 0 battlefield. You will get a lucky draw chance to get a pre-battle reward. Best of luck.]
