My All Powerful System

Haaah

Lynx yawned as he stretched his body. Every muscle popped. ”I haven’t slept as comfortable as this since forever,” Lynx hugged his pillow and started sobbing dramatically. `Sniff.. Sniff’ ”I missed you pillow, I fucking missed you.”

His voice cracked on purpose. He was being extra. He hadn’t felt this relaxed in weeks.

He reached for his phone, then remembered he doesn’t have one anymore. His old one got lost, he didn’t remember where he kept it last. `Tsk.` Annoying. He was too lazy to care right now.

He stretched one more time before standing up from his bed. His enhanced hearing picked up some shooting sounds, from Daniel’s side.

He opened his translucent door and walked out of his room.

”Fuck, another derank. What kind of lobby is this, it’s hard as hell,” He heard Daniel’s frustrated voice coming from his side of the room.

Headphones was on his dark hair. His door was opened so Lynx walked over to him, he called. ”Hey man”... no reply. Daniel was still cussing at the game, eyes locked on the screen.

Lynx raised a brow. Then he tapped Daniel on the shoulder. Daniel flinched and turned back to see Lynx. He ripped his headset off. ”Yo, I’m gaming right now.” His voice was annoyed but not mad.

”I know bro, just wanted to ask what time it is?” Lynx asked casually, arms crossed.

”Don’t you have a phone bro?” Daniel sighed and reached for his phone, he double tapped the screen and the time showed. ”It’s 8 PM bro.”

`’Shit I’ve been asleep since afternoon, must have been really tired. Even with primordial healing and immunity, I still needed that sleep’` Lynx thought while he muttered ”thanks” to the guy.

At the same time the room door opened and a guy stepped in. Around 5’11 or 6 ft, blonde hair, brown eyes, handsome face. His face had a frown as he spotted Lynx.

Their gaze locked, measuring each other. The air instantly got heavy. Lynx viewed the guy’s stats instantly as he felt off vibes coming from the guy towards him.

’This guy’s stats and blessing is amazing. His family name is also Musk, I think no matter the world any Musk is rich’ Lynx thought while his gaze still locked on Peter.

Peter was looking at the guy too. He knew he was handsome but he was nowhere near this guy and that irked him the more. His jaw tightened. The rumors are true. This Lynx guy is the most handsome guy in the academy. And he hated it.

”I heard you beat Caius to pulp,” Peter’s voice came out cold and prideful.

”Yeah, I did. He was pretty annoying and weak,” Lynx said with zero effort, as if what he said was supposed to be obvious.

Daniel’s eyes widened. He removed the headphones from his head again and looked at both of them, feeling the not friendly vibes coming from both of them to each other. He turned to Lynx.

”You really beat up that guy huh, I saw it on the group chat. I even saw his picture, you messed him up pretty bad. His goons will come for you now.”

Lynx laughed. It was a lazy, dangerous laugh. ”I’ll break all their bones with a flick of my finger, let them come. In fact Caius himself knows better not to send them to me.” Lynx started walking out of Daniel’s side of the room.

Daniel laughed loudly, trying to break the tension. ”Damn, if the girls were here, they’ll be falling for you all the more.”

Lynx smiled at the statement, while Peter’s eyes turned cold. The air around him felt colder. Like the temperature dropped 5 degrees.

He was jealous. Jealous of the spotlight Lynx was getting, and how handsome and strong he is. All his life he was used to being treated like a prince. Now this guy is here, recently became a blessed, got four affinities, really strong and handsome too. Getting all the girls. He was pissed but he calmed himself down again. He forced a neutral face.

Lynx felt every single thing that just happened and knew what was running inside Peter’s head. He brushed it off. The guy isn’t a threat to him. Not even close.

”Now that I remember, you wanted to sell my spot at the room, why?” Lynx turned to Peter. His tone was flat.

”I don’t owe you an explanation, you were gone for a month and he needs a place to stay,” Peter replied coldly.

”Yeah yeah, well I’m back and you better tell the dude I’m back if he doesn’t already know,” Lynx smirked.

Peter was now infuriated. He glared at Lynx who stared at him back with a smirk. Neither backed down.

”Peter you said you’ll game with me and help me rank up tonight if I could fuck Lisa. And I did that this afternoon, you can ask Lynx if you want to confirm,” Lynx heard Daniel’s voice.

’Why’s he calling my name and saying I watched him fucked a girl?, this guy’ Lynx facepalmed himself.

Peter glanced at Lynx one more time, disgust flickering in his eyes. He opened his translucent door and entered his room, ”I’m tired, maybe tomorrow,” with that he entered his room and shut the door.

”What’s with that guy, is he always like that?” Lynx asked, turning to Daniel.

”Yeah bro, but he’s really kind though, maybe I’m just used to his attitude but he’s not a bad guy,” Daniel defended him quickly. He looked awkward.

”Whatever man, I need to leave this academy,” Lynx shrugged.

”Again? You visiting a brothel or going away for another month or two,” Daniel teased, grinning.

Lynx laughed, ”nah bro, I’m just visiting my aunt, I’m really broke right now. I’ll be back before tomorrow night or Wednesday morning.”

”Okay, but hey are you good at this game? Can’t wait till tomorrow and Peter seems angry tonight,” Daniel pointed at the monitor.

’I need money to go to Isabel’s place and I can’t run there this night, I don’t even know the address, I’ll just ask the system later’ Lynx grinned inwardly.

”I don’t play games much, but I could try. Hey you could give me some money if I help, to book a night ride to her place,” Lynx walked towards Daniel’s setup.

”Yeah sure, help me win or survive till the last 10 survivors and I’ll give you 200 H-Crystals,” Daniel stood up from his gaming chair and let Lynx sit. He looked hopeful.

”What’s the name of this game?” Lynx seated comfortably on the seat and stretched his fingers. They cracked.

”Apex Warzone.”

”Cool game name, never played it but let’s see,” Lynx said, eyes already scanning the screen.

’System you know what to do’

[Become the Living Cheat of All Shooting Games. 4000 APS Points]

’Buy’

Lynx felt something stir in his body. Knowledge flooded in. Maps. Angles. Recoil patterns. His eyes dazed for two seconds before regaining composure. They flickered faintly.

”Are you alright bro?” Daniel asked, concerned. He saw Lynx’s eyes go unfocused before they shined.

”Yeah I’m more than okay. Let’s start the game shall we,” Lynx grinned. He could see it. Every flaw in the game, every enemy hideout, how to combine skills, how to shoot and move like a pro gamer. He was killing and moving insanely. Headshots. No misses.

Daniel just watched the computer screen with wide eyes. His mouth was open. ”Bro... how can someone play like this, even the pro gamers online don’t play this way.” He looked at Lynx, then the screen, then Lynx again. ”No way this is your first time playing this game bro.” His voice was shaking.

Lynx laughed, leaning back in the chair. ”Believe what you want, it’s really my first time. Maybe I’m a natural.” Within 5 minutes in the game. It was over. Lynx killed 90 players out of 100. The victory screen popped.

”Done bro,” Lynx started standing up, but he was held by Daniel. Daniel’s eyes were desperate.

”Please man, I’ll give you 500. Just play one more game.”

Lynx wanted to disagree but Daniel was practically begging him. He sighed and slumped back on the chair. ”Fine”

......

Lynx was out of the academy now, walking to the main road, where cars drive. Night air was cool. He easily avoided the guards at the academy gates. He could have run to his aunt’s place easily, but he’s too lazy for that and he loves the cars in this world.

He stopped a car. The headlights hit his face.

”I’m heading to this address,” Lynx showed the driver his aunt’s address on a scrap paper.

”Okay, that’s a bit far but get in. That’ll be 100 H-Crystals,” the driver said, looking him up and down.

”Here you go man,” Lynx handed the money over and seated comfortably. While in the car he was cussing his system inwardly. He bought the address information from the system and now he’s left with 21000 APS Points. ’Fucking cheater’.

Few minutes later.

The car pulled up to the big house his aunt stays in. Big gates, lights on. He thanked the driver and walked to the gate. He leaped over the gate in one jump, landed silently. Walked to the door and pressed a small blue machine at the door. The machine scanned his face.

Beep.

He heard the commotion inside. Probably one of the maids went to report to his aunt that he’s at the door.

The door opened.

Isabel came down and opened the door. Her jaw dropped. Her eyes were wide.

”Lynx.” Her voice was soft. Shocked.

”Aunt Isabel, I missed you,” Lynx smiled.
