Immortality Through Array Formations

Chapter 2459: Chapter 6: Grand Blueprint of the Large Formation (Part 3)

In a second-grade state boundary, Foundation Establishment is the peak. If one can establish a second-grade large formation, they can almost ascend to the pinnacle of the state boundary, securing an invincible position forever.

Even if numerous Demon Golden Cores, or even the Feather Transformation Old Demon come, under the restrictions of the Heavenly Dao, it would be impossible to break through this second-grade large formation.

Unless they are willing to perish and dissipate the Dao, facing Tribulation Thunder, and forcefully attacking with their ”life.”

Furthermore, Mo Hua had considered, if there were truly great changes in the heavens and the earth, chaos in the cultivation world, with warfare extending, blood flowing like rivers, and endless slaughter...

The second-grade large formation under the second-grade state boundary could instead become an extremely safe ”pure land.”

Using this as a base, there might be much that could be done.

This was still the inspiration given to Mo Hua by Mr. Tu’s Desolate Heaven Blood Sacrifice Formation.

By means of massive large formations, linking together lower-grade small state boundaries to form a counter-surrounding, to contend with great province boundaries.

In a sense, this is a strategy of gathering the weak to fight against the strong.

It’s just that Mr. Tu did this for the blood sacrifice of all beings.

Once Mo Hua learned it, he just used it in reverse.

After doing all this, Mo Hua invited Master Luo to come over as a guest.

Master Luo is a Formation Master, with extensive connections and a wide social circle, at least very well respected around Tongxian City.

Master Luo hurried over, took a seat, and after drinking a sip of tea, felt puzzled, not understanding why this ”important person,” Mo Hua, was calling him over amidst such busyness.

Mo Hua did not prolong the conversation, directly stating his intention:

”Master Luo, I want to hold a Tao Discussion Meeting.”

”A Tao Discussion Meeting?” Master Luo was slightly taken aback.

Mo Hua nodded, ”Hold a Tao Discussion Meeting to expound the Great Dao and spell points. And after that, every year, hold one, divided into formation, pill, artifact, and talisman, allowing cultivators from different fields to give sermons and exchanges for mutual progress.”

This Tao Discussion Meeting was also organized by taking a cue from the Qianxue Tao Discussion Conference.

Of course, this is the ”simple” version, and is not for the sake of rivalry, it is genuinely just for ”discussing Tao,” exchanging and learning from each other.

”For the first Tao Discussion Meeting, I will talk about formations,” said Mo Hua.

Master Luo was taken aback, then his expression turned to one of great joy.

He had long thought about whether he could be bold enough to ask Mo Hua to explain formations to them, these first-grade formation masters.

But now that Mo Hua’s status is too high and with many important affairs, he really did not feel at ease to ask.

Now that Mo Hua himself wants to teach them formations, Master Luo was overjoyed and said repeatedly without delay:

”Good, good! Young Master Mo, rest assured, I will certainly prepare everything.”

”At that time, please open the forum and expound the Tao for us, illuminating the path.”

Mo Hua clasped his hands, ”Master Luo, you are kind, everyone exchanges and learns from each other.”

Master Luo felt a slight tingle on his scalp, thinking our small skills are hardly worthy of being on the same stage with you for exchange...

Ten years ago, Mo Hua’s level of formation was already far beyond those formation masters of Tongxian City.

Now, after ten years, having cultivated in a great sect, it is unimaginable how much deeper Mo Hua’s formation attainments have become.

But indeed, Master Luo was curious, he really wanted to know, after ten years of learning, how advanced Mo Hua’s formations had become.

Later, Master Luo spread the word, saying that a month later, Young Master Mo from Tongxian City would open the forum to discuss the Tao, explaining formations.

This news, for a time, caused a huge stir in the surrounding Immortal Cities and sect forces.

A vast number of formation masters flocked to Tongxian City.

Many formation masters who received the news, even if they were thousands of miles away, were hurrying to Tongxian City.

Even some venerable, usually reluctant to travel far, second-grade old formation masters broke tradition, braving mountains and rivers to head to Tongxian City.

The usually bustling Tongxian City became even more crowded and noisy.

Almost all formation masters wanted to catch a glimpse of this ”Young Master Mo’s” demeanor, to listen to his discussion on formations and Tao.

For a time, Tongxian City became the assembly point for almost all formation masters of the Big Black Mountain State boundary, becoming an undisputed sacred place for formations.

A month later, amidst the hustle and bustle, the Tao Discussion Meeting was held.

Inside a newly-built magnificent Taoist Field in Tongxian City.

Mo Hua sat at the very top.

Beneath him, the seats were densely packed with both local and foreign formation masters from Tongxian City.

Among these formation masters, nearly half had white hair, and of the remaining, most were middle-aged cultivators, with only a few looking younger but displaying a weathered appearance, evidently just looking well-maintained, but with an older cultivation age.

By comparison, the fair-skinned, clear-eyed Mo Hua looked astonishingly young.

The foreign formation masters sitting below looked at Mo Hua’s appearance, expressing shock and pondering various thoughts.

Mo Hua, being watched by so many formation masters, remained composed.

He had experienced far grander occasions in the Qian Learning State Boundary, so the spotlight now felt like a breeze to him, no big deal.

Mo Hua settled his mind to start the lecture, but suddenly noticed Instructor Yan sitting below, upright and attentively prepared to listen to his lecture.

Mo Hua quickly rose, respectfully saluted:

”Instructor Yan.”

Instructor Yan had given Mo Hua enlightenment in formations, so he could be considered half a ”mentor,” and Mo Hua held great respect for Instructor Yan.

Now sitting at the top, with Instructor Yan sitting below, Mo Hua naturally felt some discomfort.

Instructor Yan glanced at Mo Hua, and warmly said:

”In learning, there is no precedence, the accomplished are to be respected.”

”In the past, my knowledge was higher than yours, hence I taught you; now your knowledge surpasses mine, it is only natural for you to teach me.”

”This is also the ’inheritance’ among formation masters...”

Mo Hua was taken aback, then smiled warmly, saluted again to Instructor Yan, and said:

”Yes.”

Afterward, Mo Hua no longer hesitated, sat at the top seat, and clearly stated:

”Today, I will mainly discuss the essence of the Five Elements Eight Trigrams array, the mutual generation and restraint of the Five Elements, the combination of Eight Trigrams, the integration and mutual enhancement, restraint and opposition, through which formation pivots circulate, full of endless mysteries, including the changes of thousands of formation patterns, starting from first grade up to second-grade high rank, from first-grade Nine Patterns to second-grade Nineteen Patterns, all inclusive...”

As soon as these words were spoken, a huge uproar occurred, the groups were in turmoil.

Second-grade high rank, Nineteen Pattern formations!

This Young Master Mo, only with a cultivation age of over twenty, has already attained... the pinnacle of a second-grade high-level formation master!
