Immortality Through Array Formations

Chapter 2457: Chapter 6: Grand Blueprint for the Large Formation

Mo Hua lay in the courtyard of his childhood home, under the shade of the large pagoda tree, gazing at the boundless sky, which seemed to harbor a mysterious Great Dao, operating ceaselessly, and his resolve gradually solidified in his heart.

He knew he couldn’t stay in Tongxian City forever.

Tongxian City was only Second Grade; if he wanted to form his core, he would have to leave this realm in search of broader opportunities.

But he couldn’t just leave; this would go against his original intention and contradict his Taoist Heart.

Among the base loose cultivators, indeed, many people had limited understanding and horizons, their minds ignorant, their inheritance outdated.

But this was more due to the scarcity of Tao cultivation resources, the closed cultivation environment, and the lack of inherited wisdom.

It doesn’t mean they are inherently ”ignorant.”

The spiritual roots, physical bodies, bloodlines, and birthplaces of cultivators may vary greatly from birth.

But a person’s true self is inherently equal, unrestricted by background and qualifications, without distinction between noble and humble, superior and inferior.

This holds true whether it’s the loose cultivators from small places or the prodigies of great families and sects.

Comprehending the Heavenly Dao, cultivating one’s path, and sharing the Dao with the world, spreading the Taoist Heart.

This is what Tao cultivators should do.

Mo Hua returned to the small study room, sat at the table where he learned Formation as a child, spread out the paper, unfolded the Jade Slips, and began carefully planning Formation Diagrams.

At the same time, he organized the vast inheritance of classics he acquired through years of wandering and studying, sorting them systematically...

This task was quite extensive.

However, Mo Hua possessed extraordinary Divine Sense, a sharp mind, and mastery of the Deceit Inference Algorithm; being a highly skilled Formation Master granted him rapid speed in planning Formation, categorizing cultivation techniques, and sorting and identifying literary works.

Thus, working tirelessly day and night, pondering deeply, Mo Hua completed the planning and sorting roughly after ten days.

He called Elder Yu over and handed him a pile of books and Jade Slips.

Elder Yu took a look and was visibly moved, ”This is...”

Mo Hua said, ”Inside are the planning map of Tongxian City, cultivation experiences, techniques, Taoist Skill inheritances, and some concise methodology on Alchemy, Artifact Refining, and Refining Rune, along with more advanced Key Points of Formation...”

This is a complete set of Taoist inheritance.

It was the prototype Taoist inheritance he painstakingly learned during his decade-long search in Qian Learning State Boundary at Taixu Gate.

Taixu Gate had strict requirements for inheritance; disciples were prohibited from spreading it externally.

But these requirements generally only applied to Top-Grade cultivation techniques, Superior Taoist Skills, some secret methods, and untouchable Forbidden Techniques.

For ordinary inheritances, Taixu Gate did not have overly stringent regulations.

Because in the eyes of great families and sects, ordinary inheritance was not uncommon and not worth too much concern.

But this ”ordinary” is relative to families and sects.

To base loose cultivators, even ordinary inheritance from a Fifth Grade State is the best true inheritance they can hope for but never attain in their lifetime.

Items from Great Province Boundaries, when they fall to the base level, often lead to a storm of bloodshed.

Thus, these ”ordinary” inheritances from Taixu Gate are perfect to grant to Tongxian City, which is lacking inheritance.

This is Mo Hua’s benevolence, and can also be considered Taixu Gate’s charitable deed.

Elder Master Xun, known for his kind-heartedness and dedication to teaching, would likely be relieved if he knew.

Mo Hua began to introduce to Elder Yu one by one:

”This is ’Tales of Cultivation,’ compiled from what I learned, heard, and saw about the history and experiences of the Tao Cultivation World at Taixu Gate.”

”Through this, Tongxian City cultivators can know the vastness of the Cultivation World, the grandeur of Nine State, and the boundlessness of Taoist Skills. In this world, the Great Dao is ever-present, worldly phenomena circulate ceaselessly; understanding these expands one’s vision and knowledge, embracing the world and setting a great ambition...”

”Additionally, there are inheritances of some cultivation techniques and Taoist Skills that all loose cultivators in Tongxian City can freely practice when they reach a certain age...”

Mo Hua picked up a thin book:

”Here is also a book called ’Taoist Heart Enlightenment,’ for young children to recite, helping them seek the Dao from an early age and enlightening their Taoist Heart.”

Elder Yu solemnly accepted the thin book, opened the first page, and saw elegant, mystical writing that read:

”The essence of cultivating the Dao lies in enlightening the heart.”

”Without an enlightened heart, the Dao will not reveal itself.”

”If the Taoist Heart does not reveal itself, worldly distractions, desires, fame, and fortune will cloud the mind, extinguish ambitions, indulge in victories and defeats, transient glory and disgrace, and ultimately lose sight of the Dao, wasting life away...”

Elder Yu looked at these words, momentarily lost in thought.

These remarks are titled as ”enlightenment,” but children likely won’t understand.

Only those who have lived over a hundred years, muddled through vast time, and reflect upon it can feel the heart and soul.

”There’s also one more crucial thing...”

Mo Hua said, then unfolded a grand, majestic, interwoven path, sub-city defensive Great Cultivation Formation Map in front of Elder Yu.

Just a glance left Elder Yu visibly shaken; he looked up in disbelief at Mo Hua, ”This is...”

”This is a brand new...” Mo Hua’s eyes revealed sharpness and ambition, ”Immortal City Grand Formation Map.”

Elder Yu felt chills and goosebumps all over his body.

Tongxian City... Grand Formation Map?!

”We’re going to build a Large Formation inside Tongxian City?” Elder Yu asked with a trembling voice.

Mo Hua nodded, ”Yes, and unlike the First Grade Five Elements Slaughter Demon Great Formation, this will be a Second Grade Defensive Large Formation integrated with the Immortal City.”

Elder Yu was extremely excited but still found it hard to believe, ”Can we truly build a Second Grade Large Formation in Tongxian City?”

Mo Hua shook his head, ”Not yet.”
