Immortality Through Array Formations

Chapter 2458: Chapter 6: Grand Blueprint of the Large Formation (2)

Elder Yu was taken aback, looking at Mo Hua with a complex expression.

Mo Hua explained, ”It’s not possible now. A Second Grade Large Formation, with its high grade and massive scale, is beyond Tongxian City’s current foundation. Even if we exhaust the entire city’s resources, building a Second Grade Large Formation is impossible.”

In a Second-Grade State Boundary, building a top-tier Second Grade Large Formation is entirely different from constructing a First Grade one.

The manpower and materials required are not on the same level.

Moreover, Tongxian City has very few cultivators who can truly reach Foundation Establishment.

This means that the accumulation of Second Grade realm cultivation resources, building construction, formation setup, and manpower arrangements are all facing extreme scarcity.

Objectively speaking, Tongxian City lacks the foundation to build a Second Grade Large Formation.

But lacking it now does not mean it will be lacking in the future.

Pointing to the large formation’s planning diagram, Mo Hua said to Elder Yu, ”The Second Grade Large Formation is a massive project, not an achievement of one morning or evening.”

”Elder Yu, what you should do is first expand Tongxian City.”

”Expand?” Elder Yu was slightly startled.

”Yes,” Mo Hua nodded, ”Take Tongxian City as the mother city and expand sub-cities outward...”

”Tongxian City is no longer what it used to be. It is developing rapidly, and the industry is thriving. Many loose cultivators around want to join Tongxian City, settle there, and cultivate.”

”However, the territory of Tongxian City is limited and cannot accommodate so many loose cultivators.”

”Since this is the case, we will expand sub-cities, with Tongxian City as the core, radiating outwards, to absorb all these loose cultivators, allowing Tongxian City to grow stronger.”

”The more loose cultivators there are, the stronger the forces, and the more cultivators who can reach Foundation Establishment.”

”The more people there are, the more prosperous the industry, and Tongxian City becomes more prosperous.”

”At the same time, the expanded Tongxian City can be planned in advance, laying the foundation for building a Second Grade Large Formation in the future.”

”With this kind of development, when the time is ripe, the mother and sub-cities of Tongxian City will guard each other, merging into one, becoming a massive Second Grade Immortal City.”

”By then, Tongxian City will be filled with experts reaching Foundation Establishment, providing enough manpower.”

”With a prosperous industry and abundant Spirit Stones, Tongxian City will have ample material resources.”

”Having the formation’s foundation, and adequate manpower and material resources, everything will be ready. At that time, the construction of the true Second Grade Tongxian Large Formation can begin.”

Mo Hua’s tone was rigorous, his thoughts meticulous, and there was an unspoken grandness and heroism.

Elder Yu could only feel a grand blueprint slowly unfolding before him.

A majestic and towering Great Immortal City stood like a behemoth upon Big Black Mountain.

The brilliance of the large formation was dazzling and overwhelming.

This vision almost made him, an Elder from a poor background in Tongxian City dedicated to the welfare of scattered cultivators, feel his blood boiling.

Mo Hua gazed intently at Elder Yu, spoke slowly:

”But this vision is too grand. Starting from you now, it may take several generations of cultivators and hundreds of years of effort, continuous development, and unyielding spirit to accumulate enough foundation to truly build this large formation and make Tongxian City the strongest Immortal City at the pinnacle of a Second-Grade State Boundary.”

Elder Yu was shocked, then his gaze firmed as he said resolutely:

”Since ancient times, grand plans have never been achievements of a single morning. If it requires exhausting my last breath until death, then let it start with my old bones.”

”Even if I have to dismantle my bones, turn them into firewood, and burn them to ashes, I will see to it that this large formation is built.”

Mo Hua was quite moved by these words, ”Elder Yu...”

But Elder Yu looked at Mo Hua with a face full of gratitude and satisfaction:

”I thought my life would just end like this, but I never expected that, with half my body in the ground, I could still achieve a great enterprise. How wonderful...”

Elder Yu sighed emotionally, solemnly said: ”You child, you truly are the greatest blessing the heavens have bestowed upon Tongxian City...”

Mo Hua said, ”Elder Yu, you flatter me. I can only provide the formation diagram, but the specifics of how to build it rely on everyone in Tongxian City, working together as one.”

Elder Yu was suddenly stunned, sighed, both amazed and grateful, then gave a ceremony to Mo Hua.

”I will go and organize people to start the process immediately.”

Elder Yu carefully collected the inherited books, Jade Slips, and formation diagrams, as if bearing a heavy burden, but his spirit seemed twenty years younger as he strode away.

After Elder Yu left, Mo Hua remained where he was, lost in thought.

A long time ago, when he led the construction of the First Grade Five Elements Slaughter Demon Great Formation, he understood one truth.

No matter how powerful his formations were, he was just one person.

He could aspire to save all living beings under heaven, but ultimately, he couldn’t save everyone.

The ones who can truly save the masses are the masses themselves.

The same is true for Tongxian City.

He can create a large formation diagram, but to actually build the large formation still requires everyone in Tongxian City to unite in relentless effort and struggle.

In essence, they are saving themselves.

Moreover, there was one other thing that unsettled Mo Hua.

Mo Hua looked up at the sky, his heart stirred, his brow slightly furrowed.

Since the blood sacrifice in Qian State and the revival of the Evil God, Mo Hua often had a feeling, as if there was an invisible blood hue over the world, and many unknown dangers that had existed since ancient times were lurking in the dark, ready to stir.

It seemed a great calamity was about to fall between heaven and earth...

Once the disaster descends, chaos is bound to ensue in the cultivation world.

He himself might be fine, after all, he had the protection of a sect, but who would protect his parents and the friends and neighbors in Tongxian City?

At least his own strength was very limited.

If that’s the case, then plan for the long term, create a hundred-year plan, and help Tongxian City build a Second Grade Large Formation so that they can protect themselves.
