I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1986: 24.247 Sixth Violet Star - Beastmen’s Royal Decree

It didn’t take long for the people living in the ancient forest to know what is happening in the city right now. It can be said that such a move was an intentional action taken by the traitors. After all, they wanted the alliance of the four races to perish. As long as the alliance breaks apart, the beast race will be able to take over the city.

At the beastmen tribe,

”The alliance had been broken.”

”They say that the Elven King had almost killed the Dwarf King!”

”Who spread this news?”

”The Dwarven race are now attacking the district of the elves.”

”Some traitors from all races are now causing more chaos in the city.”

”Should we get involved?”

”No! Bring back all of our people to the forest.”

”Tell them all to retreat!”

”But how can we be sure that none from our race is a traitor?”

”Are you crazy? No one dares to do that!”

”Are you not afraid of being hunted by the princes!?”

”The traitors before... Which of them had successfully hidden themselves from the eyes of the two princes?”

”Since then no one dares to betray the tribe?”

”In reality, it is more scary to offend the young princes than the Evil Beast God. I at the very least don’t dare to betray the tribe!”

”Moreover, the barrier prevents those who are possessed or have such thoughts.”

”Anyway, they will not be able to enter the forest.”

These are the contents of the current conversations happening within the tribe. The tribe elders were not preventing the spread of the news. Right now, they are waiting for the temporary leader and Guardian, Lord Vega and Lord Prophet Heri to make a decision. Right now the elders are waiting for the divination of the prophet before making a move.

After waking up upon using his skill, Heri was covered in cold sweat and panting as if he was out of breath. He was so tired that he almost fell over from his chair only to be caught by his mate, the former elf king, Lord Vega.

”Heri! Are you alright!?” Asked Lord Vega with a worried look on his face.

Prophet Heri’s countenance was pale and sickly but he still smiled at his mate.

He said, ”I’m okay. The whole situation is led by the current marshal. He is indeed one of the real traitors that defected to the side of the Evil Beast God. This chaos was also caused by them. They wanted us to get involved with the intention of trying to exterminate us.”

”How can they do such a thing? They couldn’t even destroy the barrier Prince Hei had created to protect the forest.” an elderly beastman asked.

The other beastmen frowned as if he thought of something, ”If they can’t go in then... They can only make us go out.”

”Hmp! Who would be foolish to come out knowing that it is a trap? Do they think we are foolish?” Another elder said.

The Former Elf King thought of the worst scenario and his whole face turned gloomy, ”There is a way to force you to come out.”

”Guardian, what are you talking about?”

”That’s not possible!”

”We are not that foolish!”

”A cub,” Lord Vega said, then finally looked around to stare at the beastmen in front of them.

”If a cub was involved, can you stop yourself from coming out of the forest?” The former elf king asked.

Silence~

Seeing their reaction and the sudden stillness in the room, Lord Vega knew that his guess must be correct. If there is a one weakness for the all powerful beastmen aside from the number, it can only be the cubs. For the beastmen, as long as it’s a child, regardless of race, they love them all. They will never turn a blind eye as long as a child is involved.

If the world is normal, then no one would openly dare to kill children just to force beastmen to come out. After all, such action is not only cruel but also immoral. But how about now, where chaos is everywhere, and laws are useless with the enforcer of justice being led by traitors who would still stop the evil from coming out.

”I’m using royal decree at this moment. Anyone who comes out of the forest will be considered a traitor. Not only will they be exiled, their whole family will be affected as well. You will also lose the blessing of the mythical fox and the protection of the ancient forest. Effective immediately!” Lord Heri said.

The highest decree one can release in the tribe is a royal decree. Once the decree was passed, all beastmen were entitled to follow it. Anyone who dares to break it will be automatically considered as a traitor and all his privilege as a beastman will be taken away. There are only two people who can cancel the effect of the royal decree. One of them is the beastmen leader and the other is the young prince, Hei Anjing. Among the two, the one with highest priority is the latter. Even the voice of the young prince can overthrow the decree of their tribe leader. The reason for this is simple. The strongest held the highest authority within the beastmen race.

Every elder beastman inside the room had saluted. A royal decree is no different from a direct order from the royalty or their leader.

”Yes, Lord Prophet!”

After the elders had left, Heri looked at his husband and said, ”Husband, we need to meet that being.”

Knowing the seriousness of the situation and the identity of the person his wife wanted to me, Lord Vega nods his head. ”Alright. I will go with you. According to my Brother-in-law we can ask for his help three times.”

”Would asking for a few changes on the barrier be considered as asking for help?” Lord Heri asked.

Lord Vega said, ”It will depend on the will of that being.”

On the other hand, this news left everyone in the tribe serious. After all, a royal decree from the prophet is no different from one that was sent by their leader. They are brothers after all. If there is one who can revoke this decree only his elder brother and Prince Hei can do so. Without those two around, the possibility of his decree being cancelled is close to zero percent. That made the tribe serious about the royal decree. No one wants to become a traitor of their own race after all.

The formation had been modified as well, this time the barrier around the forest even blocked sounds from the outside. The one who did the modification is none other than the Elemental God who wanted to spend time with her daughter. After Xue Laira woke up, she met her Spirit race father. At first, Xue Laira hated the man. This is the entity who had left her and her mother behind. He didn’t even appear when her mother died and didn’t even see her when she was sent to the orphanage.

Unknown to her that her real memories that almost broke open were once again sealed by her father, the Elemental God Thorn.

It was only when her sealed memories started to return, that Xue Laira started to slowly accept her father. Since she didn’t want to stay with the Elven race of which the elementals had the highest affinity and choose to stay with the beastmen, the Elemental God can only ask for the permission of the Beast God, Mo Minkong, to allow him to enter their home. Even the Elemental God didn’t dare to offend the Beastmen race. Not only do they have a Beast God by their side, there are also those overpowered princes born from this race. These are beings the Elemental God isn’t willing to offend unless he truly had no choice to do so.

It was unknown why their Beast God had agreed to let the Elemental God to stay in the Ancient Forest, but only the Beastmen race knew about his existence and no one was allowed to spread it. That’s why those from the other races believed that the Elemental God had returned to the Spirit when in reality he is hiding in a part of Ancient Forest where the ice and fire elements under the command of Hei Anjing and Ye Xiajie live.

The Elemental God Thorn didn’t know how the two princes bent the rules to create a haven for the elementals in this part of the forest. The thickness of qi in this part of the forest can be compared to his palace in the spirit realm. But he was sure that such a place didn’t exist in this Ancient Forest before. If it had existed before then those elves would fight for territory against the beastmen race. It was unknown though whether they could win or not.

However, he had agreed to make some changes for the barrier around the ancient forest for free. After all, his daughter is currently staying in this place with her friends. Not only had he strengthened the barrier, he had also isolated the sound. So neither side can hear one another. Now only through special means can one contact those who live inside the Ancient Forest.
