I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1919: 24.180 Sixth Violet Star - Missing Wardens

The God of Destruction smiled seeing the worry in the eyes of his beloved. This kind of care is something he had long forgotten within those endless battlefields. All Hei Anjing had been doing all his life was fighting and the only source of change in his life is the man in front of him.

Hei Anjing answers his beloved’s question.

He said, ”As the God of Destruction born from the Chaos and this Cosmos, I was only given one single duty in existence. That is to defend the Cosmos with my life.”

The Sovereign God of Void and Darkness was silence. All born Gods had duties to fulfill. Like how the Sovereign God of Light and Creation was tasked to create a world for the divine beings and control the universes and keep it in balance with his brother, Ye Xiajie.

Ye Xiajie also knew his own responsibility. As there is light, there is dark. To keep an equilibrium of things, evil must conflict with good. If there is life, there is death. Birth and dying. Fire and water. Everything must have an opposite, their alter ego.

That’s why Ye Xiajie cannot deny his other half his duties as this is their reason for existence. Once it was defied everything the Cosmos had given will be taken away even your one’s status as immortal or god.

”Can’t I go with you?” Ye Xiajie asked.

This question left Hei Anjing dumbfounded. This is the second time he has been asked such a question and it seems to be the same person. A genuine smile appeared on the God of Destruction’s face as he hugged the person in front of him. Ye Xiajie hugs him back naturally as if it’s something he had done multiple times in his life.

Hei Anjing whispered his answer, ”Once we help the old man and Pops get their Marriage Imprint, if you are still willing at that time you can come with me.”

”I am willing as long as I can be by your side,” said Ye Xiajie.

Hei Anjing said, ”Alright. I agree then.”

”However, for now let’s focus on catching the intruder of our cosmos. I had a feeling that there is definitely one in this world.”

The two suddenly disappeared from the rooftop and no one knows where they had disappeared into.

Meanwhile somewhere underground. The missing subordinates of the God of Destruction and the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness, the two Wardens were imprisoned here. Chief Warden Lou and Warden Yun who were supposed to be investigating the Evil Beast God’s existence. They had disappeared ever since the day they ask permission to leave.

It’s not like the God of Destruction and the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness didn’t realize that they are gone for too long. It was just that they were suddenly out of reach and they didn’t even know where they were. Hei Anjing tried sensing the whole world but he couldn’t find the two of them which left him bewildered.

All these years, the gods and the two systems tried all means to find and contact these two wardens but failed without any response at all. That’s why they had been going around in this world trying to find their traces.

Under some kind of mine, the two wardens were locked in. This jail is made of something that made them powerless. It’s the same situation when the World Eater was beaten up by the Evil Beast God, Ouroboros. There is a source of Cosmos Energy in this place and unexpectedly the one who owns it is unexpectedly someone everyone knows too well.

The man who created this jail made of cosmos stones scattered in the area checks on the couple locked inside. These two had barely survived with the food he had given and the water he had provided. However, he doesn’t seem to let the two wardens go.

The moment the Chief Warden saw him coming, he hid Yun Ming behind him. Though the two couldn’t understand why they are powerless within this place, it didn’t mean they are easy to kill. However, for some reason, this man seems to know that they were not of this world.

The man asked, ”Are you ready to speak now? It’s been years already. Are you not going to tell me who you are and where you came from? It’s not only you, there are also the two princes of the beastmen race and the two heroes of the alliance city. You six were not of this world. I do not have any memories of you in my mind.”

”Even if you are reborn, you cannot completely change your fate,” said Chief Warden Lou.

The man chuckles, ”No. I’ve changed it. This current position I have in this life, it’s something I can only see but never get involved into. But now I have I have, though there are some sacrifices along the way at least, it had become ones~.”

”You won’t succeed. Even if you shake hands with the Evil Beast God, you will not be able to rule as you want,” Warden Yun said.

The man stopped laughing and suddenly looked serious. Observe the two unknown he had caught and said,

”I truly do not know what you believe that can destroy my plan? According to Ouroboros, he can definitely defeat the two heroes, Lord Hunluan and Lord An Shizhe. As for the two beastmen princes, are they too young or... are they stronger than you or Ouroboros?”

”No matter what you do. You will not get what you wanted,” said the Chief Warden.

The mortal before them gnashed his teeth but didn’t speak another word. No matter how this jail was able to restrain this couple, as long as they remain inside they cannot do anything to him. That’s why he wasn’t afraid of them.

The man said, ”Since you do not want to speak, just rot inside this jail!” He walks away in anger and leaves the two wardens behind.

Warden Yun looked at his lover and noticed that he is quite weak due to him feeding him blood when they lack water.

”Wuye, how are you feeling? If we truly can’t bear it let’s just die. Dying in this world just means us reviving in the Upper Realm. It’s just that I don’t know if our lords will be disappointed,” Warden Yun Ming said.

The Chief Warden, Lou Wuye, held his lover’s hand and said, ”Don’t worry. Bear it for a bit longer. Our lords should be looking for us.”

”Okay. I will listen to you,” said Warden Yun. ”However, how come there are so many individuals who have experienced rebirth in this world? Also, this jail, these stones, how can it seal our divine energy!?”

”There is something in this world. If only we can report to the lords,” said Chief Warden Lou Wuye.

Warden Yun Ming said, ”I’m sure they are looking for us right now.”

”If it’s Lord Hei then it’s possible. But Milord isn’t the kind to waste his time,” said the Chief Warden.

Warden Yun said, ”Think positively. A Lord Ye without Lord Hei would never find us, but a Lord Ye with Lord Hei will definitely follow the latter.”

”Hah~, indeed.” The Chief Warden, Lou Wuye said.

Afternoon. Back to the clinic.

The students start waking up one by one. Well some had woken up early and left early like the two elven students and Xue Laira who wanted to avoid Wang Shichen. There are also students who took long naps after fainting like Nan Jiang and the Dwarf Princess Shika who had their arms and legs wide open and even snored in their sleep.

When the others woke up Wang Shichen was no longer in the clinic and had been picked up early by the people of his clan. This time even though the Wang Clan knew that it was the youngest prince of the Beastman Race who broke the leg of their eldest Young Master, not even the Wang Patriarch made a move.

Losing a team of assassins under their family is bad enough, adding the fact that their reputation is at risk, the old man from the Wang Clan can only keep his hands in check. Even though Wang Shichen was complaining all the way home, he was ignored by his family.

Either way, in the clinic Hei Anjing and Ye Xiajie had been waiting for Nangong Rui to wake up as this time they plan to check the mine under his name as promised before.

Long Juedi and Haerin were told to go home early. As for Gu Yang, he left with an ugly face when he saw the person he hates the most, which is the God of Destruction. As for Shika and Nan Jiang, they are happily sleeping with a duet of snores. There is another one who had merged with his summoned sloth sleeping while hugging the pillow like a koala.

Nangong Rui was surprised to see his seniors in the clinic.

He says, ”Seniors, you didn’t go home early today?”

”No. Today we plan to check the mine in your name,” said Ye Xiajie.

Hei Anjing waved his hand and said, ”Let’s go. We have some free time today~.”

Nangong Rui nods his head and makes the bed. Then he noticed the three who were still asleep and asked, ”Seniors, how about these guys?”

”Don’t worry. The nurse will look after them until they wake up,” said Hei Anjing. ”We should get going. We still plan to go home before dark.”

”Ah? Yes. Yes. Let’s go!” Nangong Rui said as he left the clinic with the God of Destruction and the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness.
