841 14.117 Last Violet Star – (Past) Xie Clan’s Captives

Within the Xie Clan’s Territory...

The abducted heirs were all assembled in the basement jail. Since the acupoints that permitted Yun Huaxia and Bai Qiyin to circulate the qi are blocked, they are presently no different from ordinary people since they are stuck to one another in the same situation without their qi. Someone from the Jin Tiangui Sect, but not the heir, Jin Shiyan, was imprisoned among them.

It was one of the Jin Sect Master’s illegitimate offspring with the given name Jin Baihua and the courtesy name of Jin Huayu. The Xie Clan did not want to annihilate the Jin Tiangui Sect as they did the Bai Lengshui Sect when they attacked them. They never intended to capture the Sect’s heir because they knew he had been seriously injured during their assault; instead, they just frightened them. They eventually decided to use Jin Baihua as his replacement out of fear that the heir to the Jin Tiangui Sect would die if they kept him in his current condition.

After finding that his brothers are missing, his parents have passed away, and his sect has perished, Yun Huaxia cradled his lover in his arms as he slept off after grieving for days. As soon as he learned of their awful fates, Bai Qiyin became extremely anxious.

“Mom... Dad... D-Don’t leave... Lili... Dage, help... me,” mumbled Bai Qiyin in his dream.

Yun Huaxia sighed as he watched over his beloved as he slept with his head on his shoulder, suffering from a nightmare. “Yin’er...? Sigh I hope that A’Wuan, Xiao Jie, and Xiao Li are safe,” he said.

Yun Huaxia said to Jin Baihua, “You are from the Jin Tiangui Sect aren’t you? Your name is...”

“Huayu. My birth name is Baihua. First Young Master Yun...”

“I see... Take these pills to ease your pain. Even if you don’t use qi it should be effective,” said Yun Huaxia.

.....

“...” Jin Baihua still accepted the pills. He was a bit shocked that Yun Huaxia is willing to help him.

First Young Master Yun offered Jin Baihua some pills when he noticed him panting in agony. The Xie Clan did not take away their weapons or the items on them; they just sealed their acupoints. After all, a cultivator’s strength would be no greater than that of the average person.

The First Young Master of the Lan Zhuayun Sect genuinely values his Dao Companion as an important person in his heart. His golden eyes were adorned with a lovely mixture of anxiety and regret. The Xie Clan kept them in the loop about events outside even though they were being held captive. They all heard the outcome of the Xie Clan’s assault against the four Great Sects.

This contains the demise of the Bai Lengshui Sect and the report that the Lan Zhuayun Sect’s Sect Master has been put into a coma as a result of his wounds.

Jin Baihua’s covert envy was not visible to Yun Huaxia since he was only focused on his Dao Companion. He was the only one of the three who received bad treatment since he wasn’t an heir. Jin Baihua’s torso and face were covered with bruises, scrapes, and remnants of rope. Obviously, when he was brought away, he was beaten up.

Following the sect leaders’ concealment of the Lu Brothers, the Xie Clan similarly failed to apprehend any members of the Lu Clan. Instead, many of the Lu Weifeng Sect’s top members perished throughout the procedure. Compared to the Bai Lengshui Sect, they weren’t as exclusive.

They would have to demolish the city in the south if they were to destroy them in the same manner as the latter. But what they want is to conquer the whole mortal realm so the Lu Weifeng Sect wasn’t completely destroyed.

At the Lan Zhuayun Sect

After his vessel and spirit momentarily stabilized, Bai Wuan finally awoke. When he opened his eyes, he was the only one in the space. Bai Wuan sat up with a touch of numbness and ache in his body. He merely requires a little period of meditation to return to his prior condition.

Yun Xiajie entered the room with some food just as he was about to end his meditation. A tray of food, including two bowls of porridge, pancakes for two, various meat dishes, and a plate of dried fruits, had been brought over by him.

Yun Xiajie said, “You’re awake, Jing’er. I made breakfast. So let’s eat together.”

He helped his sweetheart stroll toward the breakfast, which was set on a little table near the bedroom. They both took seats at the little table and got ready to eat. As they ate, Yun Xiajie was presenting food to his Jing’er.

Bai Wuan asked, “Where are Father Yun and Uncle Yun?”

“The other two sects agreed and sent a representative to join us. Jin Shiyan represents the Jin Tiangui Clan and he just arrived with your younger sister. The brothers also come from the Lu Weifeng Sect,” said Yun Xiajie. “We are preparing to attack the Xie Clan and are asking the Jin Tiagui Sect and Lu Weifeng Sect for support.”

“I would first see Uncle Yun and Father Yun before I met those who would help in battling the Xie Clan,” Bai Wuan responds, “I see. We can discuss about Father Yun’s condition after eradicating the Xie Clan.”

“I will inform them. Let’s finish eating first,” said Yun Xiajie.

The two people conversely consume their dinners. Yun Xiajie left their peak after eating because he wanted to see his father and uncle and tell them that he had finally woken up. Bai Wuan, meanwhile, went to their hot spring in the backyard to take a bath.

Cough! Bai Wuan’s lip’s corner drips blood, and he casually wipes it off.

“They are advising me to complete my trial quickly and leave for the Upper Realm, but I don’t want to go back just yet,” Bai Wuan murmured as he waved his hands and let his qi clear away all signs of blood, even the aroma. He feared that his husband might find anything strange.

“My Lord... This is what you wanted to see...”

Behind Bai Wuan, a guy suddenly materialized and passed a recording orb while being completely covered in a black robe. On the side of his neck was a strange snowflake, blood crimson. This snowflake was created by Bai Wuan. The person who showed there was one of the covert spies Bai Wuan had left with the Xie Clan to keep an eye on his younger brother, Bai Qiyin.

When Bai Wuan got the recording orb, he discovered that Yun Huaxia and his brother-in-law, Bai Qiyin, are both doing OK. They were simply unable to flee because their acupoints were blocked.

“You can liberate anybody from there, but getting my brother and the heir of the Lan Zhuayan Sect to safety comes first,” according to Bai Wuan, who sent a few people to carry them away covertly.

The guy bowed to Bai Wuan and obeyed his orders. “As you desire my lord,” he said, before vanishing from view once more.

The Sect Master in his soul form and the Great Elder of the Lan Zhuayan Sect followed his husband home as he left. The living room was filled with the four of them.

Sect Master Yun asked, “A’Wuan, how are you feeling?”

“Don’t worry, Father Yun. I have rested enough,” answered Bai Wuan.

“Is it truly alright for you to move around? You’ve been asleep for three entire days,” the Great Elder Yun Xiayu said.

Bai Wuan smiled and added, “Please don’t worry, Uncle Yun, I’m already fine.”

“Okay. This old man will trust your statements for the time being. Then... Why did you wish to see us?” Yun Xiayu sighed.

“I’ve already made arrangements to bring away Elder Brother Yun and Qiqi from the Xie Clan. They might return while we are fighting. I hope you take care of them when they come back,” said Bai Wuan. “We would be attacking the Xie Clan shortly after we talked to the other representatives of the sects,” he added.

“You may leave them in our care, and you wouldn’t be taking your younger sister, would you? Leave her here. We can look after her while you guys are gone.”

Then, Bai Wuan stated, “I will leave Lili over to Uncle Yun and Father Yun. Keep these amulets handy just in case. Also, please, keep these with you. It would activate if you are in severe danger. Though it can only prevent an immortal assault once and may be flung over the adversary to greatly hurt them, keep these amulets handy just in case.”

The amulets had a white color and were designed like snowflakes. It was a consumable artifact of the immortal class, which may not be utilized repeatedly. They were running out of time, so Bai Wuan had no time to create actual amulets for them.

Each elder accepted an amulet and gave Bai Wuan a nod. They were aware that not everything can be prevented. They knew Bai Wuan left them this in case of emergency, but there was no way they could stop that demon if it attacked them once it fled. He offered to keep them safe even when he was abroad, and these elders accepted his offer.

“Okay, we will save this for the time being. You, children, should concentrate on your next mission instead. As for the sect, leave the rest to us old men,” remarked Sect Master Yun.

The Great Elder, Yun Xiayu, said, “Are you people departing as soon as the preparation is finished?”

“We shall depart tomorrow at daybreak,” said Yun Xiajie.free𝓌𝗲𝒃𝓃𝒐𝐯𝒆𝙡. 𝑐𝗼ｍ

The Sect Master responded, “Okay. Be cautious. We will leave the matter of the Xie Clan to you, lads. Don’t overdo it!”

“We won’t!”

During the evening at midnight...

In the Underground Prison under Xie Clan’s Main Mansion.

Yun Huaxia and Bai Qiyin were snuggling up together for warmth while they slept inside the jail.

Jin Baihua was restrained by steel bars not far from them and also asleep. In comparison to the true successors of the Lan Zhuayan and Bai Lengshui Sects, his status is quite different. In reality, the Xie Clan views Jin Baihua as nothing more than a prisoner. In contrast to the two who were with him, he wasn’t even offered food. Thankfully, Yun Huaxia and Bai Qiyin have Bigu Pill with them. For a few days, it prevents them from going famished.

Bigu Pill is a low-grade medicine that is only good for preventing hunger in cultivators who have not yet attained Nascent Soul Stage. At the Qi Gathering and Establishment Foundation Stage, every disciple possessed it. Some are kept by Yun Huaxia for his sweetheart. They were able to maintain their energy levels while having qi seals that were identical to those of mortals because of this pill.

While the three inmates of the subterranean jail slept in one of the cells. A person wearing a completely black robe covering his entire body, including his face, emerges from the darkness.

Even if the First Young Master’s qi was suppressed, he was still likely to sense someone approaching him. He could already hear the coming quiet footsteps.

Yun Huaxia’s thoughts, ‘I didn’t hear the door opening. Where did this person come from?!’

Once the individual arrived near them, he removed his blade from the hilt. But as soon as a white jade with a Bai character appeared in front of him, Yun Huaxia’s activities came to a complete stop. Only a member of the Bai Clan’s direct bloodline had this. Apart from his lover, only Bai Wuan and Bai Lili would be possessed among Bai’s surviving offspring. The young princess of Bai lacks the resources to have either of these types of individuals, leaving just one person to think of.

Yun Huaxia whispered, “People of A’Wuan?”

As he handed the jade to Yun Huaxia, the guy in the black robe nodded.

The guy in the black robes murmured in a low voice, “We are coming to safely escort Sir Yun and the little lord away.”

“How?”

“Leave it to us, please.”
