I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 647: 12.49 Unknown Star - Modern ABO World: First Case - Alive Victims

Somewhere within the district.

At some small hidden clinic within the slums area.

A man had returned from somewhere wearing a black overall raincoat that hides his whole body including his head and face. If one closely looked at the trails of his steps on the ground a slight droplet of blood was washed away by the rain leaving no traces of blood coming from this man. He went to his backyard, a part of it protected by the rain. He burns up the pile of dry leaves and wood to create a fire.

After removing his black raincoat, he flung it to remove the excess raindrops allowing it to dry. Since it was made from a waterproof material it dried almost instantly and threw the raincoat at the bonfire he made. He watches as the raincoat which was splashed with the blood of his victims slowly burns into ashes. As for the remaining traces of blood, it had been long washed away.

With prayer beads in his right hand, he murmured, ”Another poor soul had returned to the side of God.”

---

At the abandoned church in the suburbs.

Ye Yuyan had gathered his team and together with Officer Ying Wu, they planned to solve it. He first asked what the motive of the killer and Hua Heiyu had given them one. But when they heard it wasnʼt the first time this killer had been killed, Officer Ying Wu was surprised as Hua Heiyu also had the same thoughts as Prosecutor Ye. Unknown to him it was the same man who asked Ye Yuyan to gather similar old cases like this current case.

Officer Ying Wu said, ”You are amazing. As if your brain works exactly the same way as Prosecutor Ye.”

Pfft!

Wei Lou covered his nose as if he sneezed despite him just holding back his laugh.

”S-Sorry... Hehehe~ itʼs cold,” said Wei Lou as he pretend it was a sneeze instead of him laughing.

Officer Ying Wu said, ”Itʼs raining. So it would definitely be colder. You should have worn long sleeves instead of just a T-shirt.”

”It wasnʼt even raining when I left the house. Who thought it would suddenly start raining,” complained Wei Lou.

Ye Yuyan ignored Wei Louʼs stupidity and asked Hua Heiyu, ”What do you mean by that? Other cases... Why do you believe that?”

”Itʼs simple. His attacks are especially clean. One stab and he killed the incomplete fetus. No hesitation in his recent cases at all. He must have perfected his technique over time. So there must be past cases about it. Cases that show his mistake while killing his target until now that he had perfection over it. He might be a hidden surgeon or an unlicensed one with a traumatic disorder like what Iʼve said before. He had a history of abuse as a child.” said Hua Heiyu.

Hua Heiyu stared at Ye Yuyanʼs eyes with apathetic eyes as if what he had explained had nothing to do with life and death. As if he was telling a bedtime story, natural and direct to the point.

Silence descended in the church as everyone waited for Ye Yuyanʼs decision. Only Officer Ying Wu felt cold all over, he was tasked to find the files by the Prosecutor who had found some cold cases with results of clumsy killing with the same way of attack and targets. The most recent ones were just a year ago and the most perfected ones were 3 to 2 years ago.

At the corner, Wei Lou whispered to Jie Yun, ”Why did it feel like while Iʼm totally lost about what to do in the case, he is already on the way directly to the truth of the case?”

”Wait. You will know then if he is bluffing or not. But seeing that young officerʼs face he must have guessed it all correct.” said Jie Yun.

Both he and Wei Lou noticed Officer Ying Wuʼs serious expression. It was in contrast to his usually jolly expression. His hands were even trembling slightly.

Finally, after a short silence, Ye Yuyan clicked his tongue.

Tsk!

Ye Yuyan commented, ”Just as I thought your head is extremely useful as I thought it is. Ying Wu the files.”

”Ah? Yes, Sir!” said Ying Wu as he started posting the requested files of Hua Heiyu.

Ye Yuyan stood up and walked away from Hua Heiyu and approached the wooden board in front. He even knocked on it and said,

”You have guessed everything right? There are especially bloody cold cases that occurred last year. Same targets women and omega who were pregnant for only one to three months as well as single parents. But unlike the current victims, their situation is more like a break-in with burglary as a façade while killing the victims in their sleep. Normal police officers would take this case as one of stealing homicide but...

The strangest thing about last yearʼs cases is that all targets have their blood drawn. Needle marks were left behind on the victimʼs body. As if the murderer was so obsessed with taking the blood of his victim as his greatest reward. You are correct Hua Heiyu. This killer had indeed perfected his technique over time. Plus...”

Ye Yuyanʼs cut-off explanation was continued by Hua Heiyu.

”He is under competition with someone. Another murderer... He kills not only to resolve his perverted desire but also to strive to become one the best.” said Hue Heiyu.

Ye Yuyan said, ”Correct. Two to three years ago before he started his killing a murderer was caught for killing 21 victims in cold blood. His targets were all abusive single fathers towards their children. This murderer cut off the limbs of his target leaving a limbless victim and a compiled detached arms and legs beside him. He was caught after targeting the wrong victim for his 22nd killing. It was a policeman who just happened to stay over at a relativeʼs house and the child was bullied at school.”

”The limbs cutter case? I know that. In the end, when the murderer was caught he had always thought he is a savior but killed those abusive men to their children. They are indeed alike. This time the murderer must think he is saving unborn children. Both are crazy.” said Officer Ying Wu.

Jie Yun commented, ”If you are not mad in the head would you kill? The desire for something or for money? All killings have a reason even without one. Isnʼt there a reason ʼBecause I feel like itʼ is enough?”

Hua Heiyu was well known for his obsessive-compulsive disorder. Noticed something that made him frown and said, ”He made two mistakes. How stupid.”

”Haha~ you also noticed that!? You are indeed a perfectionist. Last year, two of his targets survived. One is the sister whom he had killed that night and the other is someone who used to be in a coma. Now both are single mothers who are now currently two to three months old. I need you guys to do something. Go to these ladies and protect them. Catch the killer and get your sentence reduced.” said Ye Yuyan.

Hua Heiyu asked, ”What about me? I already helped you solve the case.”

Cough!

”I will buy you anything in that café as promised,” said Ye Yuyan.

Hua Heiyu retorted, ”No, Iʼm bored of that now. Thereʼs a new dessert shop that sells different flavors of soufflés. I want all flavors except the ones with veggies or herbs.”

”That high-end dessert shop at the 23rd street? I heard their soufflé was the best. You are talking about that. But I heard there are 15 flavors and only 5 had vegetables and herbs in them.” said Officer Ying Wu.

Ye Yuyanʼs lips twitched and murmured as if restraining his anger, ”He wants to eat 10 in one go!? Would that even fit in his stomach?”

”Fine. Once the killer is caught Iʼll buy you 20 with drinks. Get the case done as soon as possible.” said Ye Yuyan.

Hua Heiyuʼs eyes sparkle with determination. For a man who uses his brain more than everyone, his intake of sugar is more as well. Plus, he loves sweets. This reward is better for him than reducing his prison sentence.

---

The next morning the team once again split up to do the work. Hua Heiyu stayed with Ye Yuyan as he couldnʼt move freely unlike Jie Yun and Wei Lou.

Jie Yun worked alone and once again checked on the crime scenes and looked for the routes and did a shadow image of the events that unfolds in the area.

”No CCTV. No witness. Hidden Alleys with lots of routes to take to hide from other peopleʼs eyes plus the veil of the rain protecting him. He might not be as overly smart as his brother but... If he has knowledge of every crook of the alleys then avoiding the roads where the police patrols are possible.” murmured Jie Yun as he walked from alleys to alleys like a shadow. He is looking at the center point of these hidden routes.

It took him three hours to go through all the alleys and found an inconspicuous clinic within the slums area. He stares at this clinic and remembers something that Hua Heiyu had said yesterday.

Jie Yun observes the clinic while mumbling, ”Hidden or unlicensed surgeon.”

Suddenly someone from the alum tapped his shoulders and said, ”Hey! Why are you looking at Doctor Shenʼs clinic?”

---

Meanwhile on Wei Louʼs side.

He went to small unaffiliated mafia groups which were made by his former subordinates. In reality, these people suddenly just appeared a year ago out of nowhere. These gangsters had hidden identities. They are undercover police officers and Lou Weiʼs most special elite with connections to Aster.

He knocked on the ordinary wooden door of the money loan officer and leaned on the door.

Knock. Knock.

The men who were looking like gangsters all moved their eyes on him with a menacing gaze. If Wei Lou didnʼt know they were tough policemen under his command before he would have believed they were real thugs instead.

With a grin on his face, Wei Lou asked, ”Have you got the information I wanted from Aster?”

”Leader.”

”Leader Lou!”

”You bunch of bastards! What a Leader! Call him Big Brother!!!”

”Ah? I forgot. We are gangsters right now.”

”Hehehe~”

”Big Brother. We had approached Aster as we got your requests about what you have messaged me yesterday. The victimʼs information was found immediately but... The list of suspects was still down to three. They said it is better to let Agent Hei check the information himself.”

Wei Lou who received the information said, ”Good work. No worries. Letʼs buy some afternoon snacks and protect the victim first.”

”Yes, Big Brother!” said all the thug-looking men inside the money loanʼs office.

---

At the suburbʼs abandoned church.

Office Ying Wu, Jie Yun, and Wei Lou were tasked to get more information and protect the victims. Only Hei Yuhua and Ye Yuyan were left alone in the church. This time an unwanted guest was here once again. Inspector Yi Rouya was given a mission to observe them.

The two collectively ignored him. Ye Yuyan was focusing on predicting the killerʼs next move while Hei Yuhua was waiting for new information to be gathered. Officer Ying Wu had given Hua Heiyu a jar of chocolates to keep his brain useful.

At this moment, some of these chocolate wrappers were rolled into a ball being thrown at Prosecutor Ye Yuyan.

Bonk.

Bonk. Bonk.

Bonk. Bonk. Bonk.

Ye Yuyan finally got pissed and glared at Hua Heiyu.

He bellows, ”What the hell do you want!?”

”Itʼs lunchtime. Iʼm hungry. Arenʼt you going to feed me?~” said Hua Heiyu.

Tsk!

”No. Eat your chocolates. Ying Wu gave you a big jar right?” said Ye Yuyan.

Hua Heiyu said, ”No! I want to eat burgers and fries right now! Buy me some!”

”Buy it yourself!”

”So can I leave?”

”No!!!”

”Stingy!!”

Their conversation abruptly started and abruptly ended. There is an obvious conflict between the two men. They look like they canʼt get along, but have no other choice but to stay together. Inspector Yi Rouya who was watching the two of them can obviously notice the two hated each other. Still, due to some circumstances, the two canʼt get separated from one another.

Suddenly Hua Heiyu glanced at Inspector Yi Rouya and revealed an evil smile. He approached the frightened man and said,

”You heard it right~ Iʼm hungry. How about you buy me some burgers, fries, and drinks?”

”W-Why should I listen to you?” asked Inspector Yi Rouya.

Hua Heiyu said, ”You wanted to stay here and observe right? That workaholic bastard wouldnʼt buy me some and he wonʼt let me leave. Since you are free, buy me some food or else... you might not be able to leave this church alive anymore~”

Inspector Yi Rouya shivered when he heard the last sentence Hua Heiyu had whispered into his ears. When he saw those glacial silver eyes staring at him like he is a delicious prey, he knew immediately that this criminal is not kidding. He is the youngest psychopath recorded on the headquarters list of most wanted criminals.

”I... I... I just have to buy you some right? I will buy you food right away!!” said Inspector Yi Rouya as he ran away.

”Buy enough for five people,” commanded Ye Yuyan.

Inspector Yi Rouya almost tripped when he heard Ye Yuyanʼs orders as he walked away from the church with hurried steps. Ye Yuyan and Hei Yuhua even heard him saying ʼPsychoʼ multiple times. As Yi Rouya this hidden spy left the area, Ye Yuyan finally stopped acting cold and hugged Hei Yuhua from behind acting clingy as always.

Hei Yuhua said, ”I donʼt know how he was able to stay by your side in our previous life?”

”Before you were ignoring him as if he didnʼt exist and I did not openly oppose the old men from the higher-ups. All he had in his head was how to seduce me which was useless,” said Ye Yuyan.

Hei Yuhua said, ”Oh, really?~”

”En... I was this close to killing him multiple times before. Because he keeps hindering me from doing my job. Anyway, thatʼs in the past. Let me hug you more~” said Ye Yuyan.
