I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 644: 12.46 Unknown Star - Modern ABO World: Everyoneʼs Circumstances

At the suburbs.

The group of five returned to the abandoned church after cleaning up the mess made at the cafe. Hua Heiyu as an offender who had tried to escape was brought back with his hands once again handcuffed and was directly under strict observation of Officer Ying Wu.

Hua Heiyu was ignoring Prosecutor Ye who has seated on the same wooden bench yet such a wide distance from each. other. The former was focusing on his cold drink while the latter was stealing peeks at the former. After calming down for a while Prosecutor Ye Yuyan felt that he had let his anger cloud his mind and this made him pull a gun and use it at Hua Heiyu as he was blinded with hatred.

Ye Yuyan said, ”I wasnʼt in the right mind just now. I shouldnʼt have pulled the trigger. But things cannot end this way, you shouldnʼt have escaped just to buy cakes and drink because you crave it.”

Hua Heiyu moved his head and glanced at Ye Yuyan, ”If I had asked... Would you have bought it for me?”

”... No...” replied Prosecutor Ye Yuyan without hesitation.

Hearing this reply the other three people in the church reacted quite coordinately. Wei Lou snorted, Jie Yun sighed while Officer Ying Wuʼs lips twitched.

Hua Heiyu instead smiled and said, ”Thereʼs your answer.”

Tsk!

”I will buy you whatever you want if you solve a case,” said Ye Yuyan.

Hua Heiyu said, ”You heard him. If he breaks his promise then he is a pig.”

”Heard it,” said Jie Yun.

Wei Lou chuckles, ”Iʼm not deaf.”

”Sir, since you said it. Keep it,” said Officer Ying Wu.

Grumpy Prosecutor Ye Yuyan responded, ”I know. There is no need to keep reminding me. By the way, Ying Wu, did you see someone who looked suspicious come out of the cafe? When I shot the gun, was there someone out of place? Like a foreigner with a white suit?”

Once the white suit was mentioned all three who were waiting outside the cafe at that time remembered the weak-looking man in a white suit. It was the same man who bumped at Officer Ying Wu on the way.

”We do!” said Officer Ying Wu, Wei Lou, and Jie Yun.

Hua Heiyu commented, ”You should have grabbed her. She is one of the heinous criminals under the Red Poppy Syndicate. She came to recruit me.”

”How did you respond?” asked Officer Ying Wu with a taut expression on his face.

Hua Heiyu once again smiled yet everyone who saw this smile felt a shiver climbing up on their back.

”I told them. I will think about it,” said Hua Heiyu.

As expected, not only Ye Yuyan but also Officer Ying Wuʼs face turned cold at this honest answer.

Officer Ying Wu commented, ”You are quite bold. That Syndicate is world class and you have them wait for you.”

”My actions depend on my mood. Only sweets and cold drinks could somewhat move me. They bought me lots of cakes and drinks before you arrived. So I told them I will think about it.” said Hua Heiyu.

Ye Yuyan said, ”I already told you I will buy whatever you want. Just solve the case for me.”

”Heh~ whatever,” said Hua Heiyu as he was about to take his leave.

Ye Yuyan said, ”Where are you going?”

”Find somewhere to live too until the next dayʼs work is given,” said Hua Heiyu.

Ye Yuyan said, ”You guys are not going anywhere out of sight. You will live in my condominium building. You can leave and return as you please but not you, Hua Heiyu, the headquarters prerequisite of allowing you out is being by my side 24/7”

Jie Yun, Wei Lou, and Hua Heiyuʼs dumb speechless. ”....”

”Can I still return to jail?” asked Hua Heiyu.

An evil smirk appeared in the corner of Ye Yuyanʼs lips and said, ”Too late for regrets. Letʼs go. I will show you where you guys would live.”

He then brought them to his condominium building. There are lots of free rooms in this place but some were occupied by Ye Yuyanʼs shadow guards. There are more than a hundred of them living here. This is why a lot of criminals and Syndicates considered this a dead zone.

All criminals and bad guys who entered this place never came out alive.

Wei Lou said, ”This place is eerie~”

”So many shadow guards and all of them are skilled,” said Jie Yun.

Officer Ying Wu asked, ”You know? Can you see them?”

”No. Their watching eyes were hard to ignore,” said Jie Yun.

”Get in. I will give you a room. Jie Yun and Wei Lou are in the same room. Hua Heiyu... You are going to live with me.” said Prosecutor Ye Yuyan.

Hua Heiyuʼs expression turned dark when he heard about his living condition and immediately wanted to return to the prison where he had his own room to live in.

”Iʼm an omega and you are an alpha,” said Hua Heiyu.

Ye Yuyan said, ”Even if you are the last omega in the world I would never touch someone like you. Stop dreaming!”

After all three of them were settled, Officer Ying Wu took a day off and left as he finished his duties for that day. Hua Heiyu lives in the same room as Prosecutor Ye Yuyan while the other pair live in Officer Lou Weiʼs room which was left empty after the officer was transferred temporarily somewhere else for work.

As the rooms were closed, behind the doors.

Point of view in Wei Lou and Jie Yunʼs place.

Wei Lou who looks and acts like a thug becomes a silly dog man in an instant as he helps Jie Yun remove his coat and wash it for him.

Wei Lou said, ”Honey, I will draw you some warm bath. Good work for today.”

”Um. Iʼll make some dinner. Take a shower yourself first.” said Jie Yun.

Wei Lou kissed Jie Yunʼs cheeks and said, ”I will Jieʼer. I want to eat some meat tonight~”

Jie Yun acted as if he didnʼt understand and said, ”I will cook steak tonight.”

”Thatʼs not it~”

”Bah~ Get in the bath! Donʼt bother me when Iʼm cooking.”

Jie Yun heads to the kitchen to cook while Wei Lou, like a depressed dog, goes to the bath and takes a shower.

At the Prosecutor Ye Yuyanʼs room.

Before the door was closed, Hua Heiyu looked expressionless and dull-eyed as if he was walking toward his death row. But as soon as the door was closed behind them, Ye Yuyan hugged his wife and carried him to the living room, and cuddled. The scene of him pointing a gun at Hei Yuhua reminded him of the past regardless if it was an act or not.

Hei Yuhua could feel his husband slightly trembling. The trauma left by their previous life had quite a big effect on Ye Yuyan. He had no other choice but to coax his man. Hugged him back and gently pats Ye Yuyanʼs back while whispering the same words ʼItʼs okay.ʼ, ʼItʼs all in the past.ʼ and ʼIt wonʼt happen again.ʼ

It took a while before Ye Yuyan calmed down. He stared at the unfamiliar face of his wife under him yet those argent eyes crescented as he smiled made him instantly recognize him no matter what.

Hei Yuhua smiled at him and said, ”Work has already ended. Letʼs talk more about something else, something like... Lower your head. I had something to whisper to you.”

He lowered his voice as he gestured to his husband to lower his head. Ye Yuyan approached as he was told to do so. In the Ye Family, the orders of the wife cannot be ignored.

He gave his wife an aggressive kiss as if trying to make sure that he was indeed alive and was staying by his side. Yet, Hei Yuhua reached out his arms and wrapped them around Ye Yuyanʼs neck, and pulled him down letting their lips meet.

After a short kiss, Hei Yuhua teasingly asked his mate, ”How is it?”

Ye Yuyan, ”...”

”Come on, darling. Give me a reaction,” complained Hei Yuhua.

Ye Yuyan, ”...”

”You are so cold. Donʼt you know how much I miss... you!! Mfffftt!!!”

Before he could finish his words, Ye Yuyan dived down and kissed him more aggressively than the kiss he gave him. With rough motion, their lips collide and a tongue slips through Hei Yuhuaʼs lips until both their lips and tongues intertwine with each other.

Hei Yuhua lightly pushed away the aggressive beast above him, ”W-Wait. Let me breathe~ Nfft!! Hmm!”

He was once again pressed down by Ye Yuyan on the sofa and was kissed until he was out of breath.

Once their lips had parted a silvery line connected their lips which instantly cut as the distance was made between the two. Ye Yuyan used his thumb to wipe the lingering saliva at the corner of his wifeʼs lip and was once again about to kiss his mate when he heard a growling sound underneath him.

Grumbles~

It is the siren of his wifeʼs stomach telling him he is hungry. Ye Yuyan was caught off guard and saw Hei Yuhuaʼs face turn red in embarrassment.

”Yuʼer?”

”Shut up! Cakes canʼt make me full. I havenʼt eaten a meal all day.” said Hei Yuhua.

Seeing his wifeʼs scarlet face Ye Yuyan couldnʼt help but laugh at what his mate had said before. He had missed Hei Yuhua a lot even after being only separated for a day.

Chuckles~

”Iʼll make you dinner, wife. You should take a bath first,” said Ye Yuyan.

Hei Yuhua said, ”Canʼt we take one together?”

”We would still take one together later~” replied Ye Yuyan while giving a meaningful smile to his mate. He even kissed his forehead lovingly before getting up to head to the kitchen.

Understanding his husbandʼs words, Hei Yuhua could only cover his crimson face as he ran away. Taking a bath is only an excuse. Seeing his mateʼs cute antics Ye Yuyan heads to the kitchen in a good mood.

---

Meanwhile, inside Hei Yuhuaʼs soul domain, System Yang and System Yue were informing Hei Anjing who had just woken up about how Lord God Ye had woken up for a bit while he was asleep.

Hei Anjing said, ”AʼXia, woke up but went back to sleep shortly?”

System Yue said, [Yes, Lord Hei. It was his temporary host, Ye Yuyan, who had spoken to him that day. At that time Ye Yuyan had fallen into a state of preconsciousness and was almost imprisoned in his own subconsciousness.]

[Ye Yuyan tends to fall in trance every time he sees his past memories.] said System Yang.

Hei Anjing spoke, ”Humans are sentimental beings. That is normal. As for AʼXia if he went back to sleep that means he is almost done merging his soul fragments. No need to wake him intentionally. He should wake up on his own.”

”For now, gather all information that involves the Red Poppy Syndicate. We must complete the wishes of the two hosts and leave this world as soon as possible. There is only one world left before the second trial of revival ends.”

”Go now and collect information. I will go back to sleep.”

System Yue and System Yang accepted his orders and left the spirit domain of Hei Yuhua. Just after the two systems left, Hei Anjing looked at his hands which he had hidden inside the wide sleeves of his robes. He could almost no longer see the tips of his fingers. It seems his soul had weakened enough that it could no longer fully materialize like before.

A feeble smile appeared on Hei Anjingʼs lips while he stared at his fading fingers.

”Iʼm running out of time. I need to at least solve AʼXia Soul Mission before I completely...” whispered Hei Anjing in nothingness.

Sadly, there is no one who can hear his whisper and no one is there who can help him solve his current situation. It was destined that he would end up like this as the second trial ends. After all, he who had his full memories wouldnʼt be there for the final trial.
