I Can See Through All Things Information

Chapter 1494: Chapter 886: Cause and Effect, The Three Great Mutant Beasts’ Allegiance (Part 2)

”If those comrades are unaware of the situation with the portal, and he can no longer suppress it over time, the trouble will be significant.”

He looked at Lu Qing, his gaze solemn.

”Therefore, he asked me to go to that world for the greater good, to inform those Great Powers of his situation here.

At the same time, he also hopes they can figure out a way to completely seal the portal and eliminate any future threats.”

Lu Qing was silent for a moment before asking, ”So Master decided to go?”

Gui Xu Taoist nodded.

”From every perspective, I must go.”

He paused, then continued, ”Originally, I intended to leave alone, given the unpredictable danger of this journey; life and death are uncertain, and I didn’t want my disciples to follow me into danger, but...”

He chuckled bitterly.

”What I didn’t expect was that once my disciples knew I was leaving, they all vowed to follow me to the death.

They said, wherever the Master goes, they will go.

Even if the path ahead is full of perilous obstacles, they are willing to follow.

Rather than waiting here in vain, they would rather venture forth with the Master.”

There was a hint of emotion as well as a bit of helplessness in Gui Xu Taoist’s voice.

”I tried to persuade them for a long time, but it was useless. Their minds were made up; they refused to stay behind regardless of what I said.”

He sighed and continued, ”And I also thought of another issue.”

”What issue?” Lu Qing asked.

Gui Xu Taoist said, ”The disciples and I are deeply interconnected through cause and effect.

If I am captured in the Otherworld and fall into the enemy’s hands, the enemy might use the Cause and Effect Technique to locate my disciples.

If that happens, even staying in this starry sky wouldn’t be safe for them.

The enemy could potentially find this place through cause and effect.”

”And I lack the divine skills of the ancient sages to sever cause and effect.”

He looked at the Elder Azure Dragon and the others, his gaze filled with apology.

”So I thought long and hard, and finally made a difficult decision: to leave only you three behind while taking everyone else with me.”

The Elder Azure Dragon was stunned: ”Why just the three of us?”

Gui Xu Taoist said, ”Because you are Mutant Beasts with unique bloodlines and long lives.

You can live for a very long time, waiting for that destined person to arrive.

Moreover, your cause and effect with me are shallower than that of others.

Even if an enemy comes looking through cause and effect, it’s much less likely they will find you.”

He paused, then continued, ”As for the others, I’m taking them with me both to fulfill their wish to follow me and to keep them away from this starry sky, preventing the enemy from locating them.”

The Elder Azure Dragon was silent.

It finally understood why its master left only them three behind years ago.

It was not because they were unimportant, but quite the opposite—they were considered too important.

Upon hearing this, Lu Qing suddenly asked, ”Master, when you left back then through the world’s portal, didn’t that mean you entered directly into the enemy’s lair?”

Gui Xu Taoist shook his head.

”The remnant will of the Mysterious Transformation Great Power told me he would use his last bit of strength to transmit me to a certain place in the Otherworld through the world’s portal.

That place had been explored by him long ago and was relatively safe, not directly within the enemy’s lair.”

He paused, then continued, ”However, he also said that this was just his assumption, as he hadn’t completely explored that world either.

There was risk in the transmission, and accidents could happen.

He advised me to be mentally prepared.”

Gui Xu Taoist smiled slightly, a carefree smile on his face.

”Now it seems his plan back then should have been successful.

At least, after these hundreds of thousands of years, this trace of my will still exists, which proves my true self has not perished.

Though I don’t know where he is or what he’s doing now, at least he is still alive.”

Upon hearing this, the Elder Azure Dragon’s eyes reddened again.

It finally understood why its master never returned after leaving back then.

It wasn’t because he didn’t want to return—it was because he couldn’t.

The master had deceived them by saying he went to the Upper Realm, simply to keep them from worrying.

The Elder Azure Dragon choked and said, ”Master...”

Gui Xu Taoist gestured with his hand to interrupt.

”No need to say more, you’ve all suffered over the years, but now that you’ve met Ah Qing, my legacy has a successor, I can finally rest easy.”

He finished speaking, looking down at his own hands.

Those hands now appeared even more illusory, almost transparent.

Seeing this, the Elder Azure Dragon and the others became instantly anxious.

”Master, you...”

Gui Xu Taoist smiled slightly, a sense of serenity in his smile.

”Don’t worry, this trace of my will, having lain dormant for hundreds of thousands of years, is meant to dissipate.

Knowing that before dissipating, my legacy continues, knowing there’s a peerless genius among my disciples across the ages, I am truly comforted.”

He looked at Lu Qing, his gaze full of hope.

”Child, with the Harmonization of nine Great Daos, your future is boundless.

Yet I still remind you, the path of cultivation is long; do not become arrogant or complacent.

Remember, beyond the sky, there are more skies; beyond the person, there are more people. While your accomplishments today are unprecedented, it isn’t assured that there won’t be someone like you in the future.

You must continue to strive and keep moving forward.”

Lu Qing solemnly nodded, ”Disciple will heed Master’s teachings.”

Gui Xu Taoist continued, ”And regarding that Black and White Temple, you must be cautious.

Since they have connections to the Dark Abyss, they are very likely pawns of that Power of Darkness.

If you intend to deal with them, ensure there’s thorough preparation, do not underestimate them.”

”Disciple understands.”

Gui Xu Taoist looked toward the Elder Azure Dragon and the others.

”Elder Azure Dragon, Black Bull, Little Feng, from now on, follow Ah Qing.

Though he is my disciple, you need not address him as master.

You are free; whether you choose to follow him or stay here is up to you.

The Immortal Palace is your home, forever.”

The Elder Azure Dragon teared up, ”Rest assured, Master, we will follow Ah Qing; wherever he wishes to go, we shall go.”

The Black Bull repeatedly nodded, ”Yes, yes, we’ll follow him, he’s so powerful, certainly by following him, we’ll see the Master one day.”

Though Ming Feng didn’t speak, determination filled its Phoenix eyes.

Gui Xu Taoist nodded contentedly.

”Good, good, good.”

He repeated the word ’good’ three times, and then his figure became more and more faint, more and more unreal.

”Child, I await the day you come seek me out.”

With those words, his form completely dissipated, transforming into specks of light that merged into the statue.

The hall fell silent.

The Elder Azure Dragon and the others stared at the statue in a daze, not speaking for a long while.

Lu Qing stood quietly, complex emotions surging in his heart.

After a long time, the Elder Azure Dragon let out a long sigh.

”Master...has left.”

The Black Bull wiped away tears, speaking in a muffled voice, ”Master said he is still alive, that’s good, it means we can see him again in the future.”

Ming Feng nodded, but remained silent.

After their emotions settled slightly, Lu Qing asked, ”Elder Azure Dragon, what are your plans going forward?”

The Elder Azure Dragon looked at him and said, ”We are bound by the Immortal Palace, unable to leave unless you undertake the Refinement of the Immortal Palace; otherwise, we’ll be here forever.”

”Refinement of the Immortal Palace?” Lu Qing raised an eyebrow slightly.

The Elder Azure Dragon nodded, ”This Immortal Palace is itself a Magical Treasure, personally crafted by the Master back then.

Though it’s extraordinarily large, making it impossible for ordinary people to perform a Refinement.

But now, you are in the Unity Realm Stage, and possessing the Space Avenue, you should be able to attempt it.”

It paused, then added, ”Ah Qing, if you plan to venture to the Otherworld in the future, you must take us with you; we want to find the Master.”

The Black Bull nodded fervently, ”Yes, yes, take us along. Though we may not be as powerful as you, we can still fight.”

Ming Feng also said, ”We are willing to follow you.”

Lu Qing looked at them, mulling over his thoughts.

He needs to deal with the Black and White Temple next. This force is enigmatic, with the Power of Darkness backing them.

With the assistance of these three Unity Realm Stage Mutant Beasts, it would indeed be a significant advantage.

Moreover, they have lived for hundreds of thousands of years, possessing rich experiences and knowledge of many secrets.

Their presence would make many things more convenient.

Having thought this through, he had made up his mind.

He raised his head and looked at the Elder Azure Dragon and the others.

”Alright, I’ll refine the Immortal Palace and take you with me.”

The Elder Azure Dragon and the others rejoiced at his words.

Without further words, Lu Qing slightly concentrated his mind.

Far, far away in his homeland world, his true self, deep in meditation, suddenly opened his eyes.

In those eyes, a glimmer of brilliance flashed.

In the next moment, his figure vanished from where he was.

With Space Shifting, the endless starry sky rapidly receded beneath his feet.

Moments later, he appeared outside the Returning Ruins Secret Realm.

He stood in the starry sky, looking towards the vast Star River Formation ahead, a faint smile appearing at the corner of his mouth.

Then, he took a step forward and entered the formation.
