I Can See Through All Things Information

Chapter 1493: Chapter 886: Causes and Effects, the Three Mutant Beasts’ Allegiance

Lu Qing pondered for a moment, then suddenly remembered another matter.

”Master, there is still one more thing I would like to ask.”

Gui Xu Taoist said, ”Speak.”

Lu Qing said, ”It’s about an entity known as the Black and White Temple. I wish to seek your guidance on this matter.”

”Black and White Temple?” Gui Xu Taoist was slightly taken aback, a hint of confusion flashing in his eyes. ”What is this entity? When I left back then, it seems I had not heard of this name.”

Lu Qing explained, ”This is a rising force that emerged over a hundred thousand years ago.

Their ancestor is said to have once entered the Dark Abyss and brought out opportunities from within.

In just a few thousand years, they established such a powerful force as the Black and White Temple.

Nowadays, the Black and White Temple’s influence spans multiple Immortal Domains, and their actions are strange, as if they are brewing some sort of conspiracy.”

He then detailed the situation of the Black and White Temple.

From when he was in the Heavenly Origin Great World, the Unity Realm Stage old demons dispatched by the Black and White Temple to assassinate him, to his crossing the tribulation when six Unity Realm Stage old demons lay in wait with an Array Map, to recently when his Heart and Spirit trembled, and upon calculation found the source from the Black and White Temple.

He also mentioned Qiu Ruofeng of the Netherworld Palace’s perspective on the Black and White Temple, and the matter regarding the prophecy.

After listening, Gui Xu Taoist showed a look of surprise.

”I didn’t expect such an evil entity to have appeared outside these years.” He pondered, his phantom figure swaying slightly, ”Emerging over a hundred thousand years ago, the ancestor entered the Dark Abyss... this timing is indeed intriguing.”

Lu Qing asked, ”Master, what do you think?”

Gui Xu Taoist shook his head, ”I’ve been away for too long; I’m not familiar with the forces that emerged later in the starry sky.

The roots of this Black and White Temple, I’m not sure.

However, one thing is certain, since this force’s ancestor explored the Dark Abyss, vigilance is a must.”

He looked at Lu Qing, his eyes serious, ”It’s hard to say if those relating to the Dark Abyss are connected with those evil creatures.

That place is not one a common cultivator can enter.

To emerge alive, either they had great fortune, or they were... corroded by that Power of Darkness.”

Lu Qing’s heart moved, asking, ”Master, is it possible that the ancestor of the Black and White Temple was possessed by evil creatures from the opposite world?”

Gui Xu Taoist was silent for a moment, then slowly said, ”That possibility cannot be ruled out.”

He paused and continued, ”The remnant will of the Mysterious Transformation Great Power told me that though his suppression of that world channel can only restrict cultivators above the Unity Realm Stage from passing through,

evil living creatures below the Unity Realm, even if they wish to sneak over, would be exterminated first by the power he left behind, but...”

He looked at Lu Qing, his gaze deep.

”This does not mean the other side has no means at all.

It’s hard to guarantee they don’t have ways to transmit certain wills over.

After all, the strong ones of that world are more terrifying than we imagine.

They can invade so many worlds, surely they have their methods.”

Lu Qing was thoughtful.

Gui Xu Taoist continued, ”If that is indeed the case, the ancestor of the Black and White Temple you mentioned might already have been controlled by that Power of Darkness, or even, he himself may have already become a puppet of that Power of Darkness, working for the other side.”

He sighed, suddenly remembering something.

”Speaking of which, that so-called ’confidant’ I had back then, who committed heinous crimes, was probably also influenced by certain wills from within the Dark Abyss.”

Lu Qing was startled, ”Master, what do you mean?”

Gui Xu Taoist said, ”When I first met that person, though he was proud and viewed lower living creatures as mere ants, he wasn’t to the extent of being that insane.

Later, he refined living creatures from dozens of worlds, his methods cruel and his nature twisted, completely unlike a normal Transformation Immortal.”

He looked at Lu Qing, his gaze contemplative.

”Now that I think about it, he might have had his mind corroded by the Dark Power during one of his travels.

And his final escape into the Dark Abyss was probably due to some summons.

Perhaps, he is now in that Otherworld, mingling with those evil creatures.”

Hearing this, Lu Qing suddenly had a flash of insight.

”Master, did you leave this world back then to head for that Otherworld, to hunt down that evil demon?”

Gui Xu Taoist nodded, a glint of approval in his eyes.

”You guessed correctly.”

He sighed, continuing, ”Back then, my moment of mercy let that evil demon go, resulting in the refinement of billions of living creatures in dozens of Life Realms.

This great karma, great sin, I cannot escape from it.

Unless I can personally slay him and completely extinguish his Divine Soul, my Dao Heart will always have a Heart Demon, unable to reach perfection.”

”If my Dao Heart cannot attain perfection, there’s no way for me to progress further above the Transformation Realm in this lifetime.”

Gui Xu Taoist’s voice carried a heavy weight.

”Thus, I must catch up to him and personally resolve this karma.”

Lu Qing nodded, indicating his understanding.

For a cultivator, cultivation is heavily tied to karma.

Especially for someone at the level of Gui Xu Taoist, the entanglement of karma is difficult to shake off.

If this karma isn’t resolved, the Dao Heart will always have flaws, making any advancement in cultivation challenging.

Gui Xu Taoist continued, ”Of course, besides this reason, there’s another reason.”

Lu Qing asked, ”What reason?”

Gui Xu Taoist said, ”The remnant will of the Mysterious Transformation Great Power told me that his sudden demise was unexpected, and the other comrades are likely unaware of his situation.

The existence of the Dark Abyss is, after all, a gigantic threat to the home world.
