I Can See Through All Things Information

Chapter 1486: Chapter 883: Various Causes and the Past Karma_2

And this young man in front of you, took only over two hundred years to walk the path that others require tens of thousands, even hundreds of thousands of years to complete.

From mortal to Unity Realm Stage.

And it’s by harmonizing with nine Great Dao simultaneously.

This can no longer be explained by talent.

Gui Xu Taoist took a deep breath, finally calming his Heart and Spirit a bit.

”Good, good, good!” He repeated the word ’good’ three times, a smile appearing on his face. ”My Gui Xu Lineage finally has successors.”

He paused for a moment and continued, ”Child, do you know why I left the Returning Ruins Secret Realm back then and set up those eight trials?”

Lu Qing shook his head.

Gui Xu Taoist didn’t answer directly but turned to look at Old Cyan Dragon and the others.

”Old Cyan Dragon, Black Bull, Little Feng.” he called softly, ”Have you always wanted to know why I left you in the Returning Ruins Secret Realm back then, making you endure for hundreds of thousands of years?”

The three of Old Cyan Dragon nodded repeatedly upon hearing this.

Old Cyan Dragon said, ”Master, this question has troubled us for countless years.

We have always been unable to understand why the master would leave us behind.

You must know that back hundreds of thousands of years ago, we were already Unity Realm Stage powerhouses.

Compared to many of master’s direct disciples, our strength was only stronger rather than weaker.”

As it spoke, a trace of grievance flashed in its eyes.

”Among those brothers and sisters who were taken away, many were not even as good as us, and we thought then, did we do something wrong that angered master?”

Black Bull also said, ”Yes, yes, I still remember when master left, he took everyone else from the Immortal Palace but left us three behind. I thought, was it because we were too stupid, and master didn’t want us anymore?”

Ming Feng, although silent, also had eyes full of grievance and incomprehension.

They never felt that master was partial nor envied those taken away.

They just didn’t understand.

Why?

Why did the master leave them behind and not take them along?

For hundreds of thousands of years, they thought about this question countless times, speculated the answer countless times.

They considered all sorts of possibilities, but never figured it out.

Indeed, they even thought more than once whether they had done something wrong, making master angry, hence he abandoned them.

This thought pierced their hearts like a thorn, stinging for hundreds of thousands of years.

Whenever it was late at night, whenever they guarded the empty Immortal Palace alone, this thorn would ache faintly.

Gui Xu Taoist, looking at their grievance, flashed a trace of heartache in his eyes.

He sighed and spoke slowly.

”You did nothing wrong. When I left, my intention was to take everyone under my wing, including you three.”

Old Cyan Dragon was startled: ”Then why did master...”

Gui Xu Taoist waved his hand and continued, ”But before leaving, I suddenly felt uneasy.

You know I always act cautiously, never fighting unprepared battles.

That departure, with uncertain future, unpredictable fortune, I honestly had no certainty.”

He paused and continued, ”Hence, I calculated a hexagram for myself.”

Old Cyan Dragon nodded.

It knew, master was one of the most erudite Transformation Immortals among the stars back then.

Array, Artifact Refining, Alchemy, Talisman, restriction... various miscellaneous knowledge, all were involved.

Path of Calculation, naturally included.

Moreover, his cultivation in calculation was among the most formidable few in the starry sky at that time.

Gui Xu Taoist paused again and said, ”I rarely use the Path of Calculation usually because peeking into the Heavenly Mechanism is ultimately not good, but that departure was of great importance, and I had to calculate.”

”Then... what was the result?” Old Cyan Dragon asked nervously.

Gui Xu Taoist’s smile receded, a trace of solemnity flashed in his eyes.

”I expended immense Heart Power, nearly exhausted all my cultivation, managing to barely calculate some clues.

But even so, I still couldn’t clearly calculate the way ahead.

A fog ahead, nothing was clear.”

He sighed, and continued, ”Yet, within that fog, I suddenly had a heart’s impulse to sense a faint causality.

That causality, related to me, yet not entirely related.

It landed in my hometown hundreds of thousands of years later, connected to some unknown existence.”

”The causality concerning the life and death of my lineage.” Gui Xu Taoist looked at Old Cyan Dragon and the others, with profound eyes, ”Also related to whether my legacy could continue.”

Old Cyan Dragon and the others listened, stunned.

They never thought that there was such a story behind master’s departure back then.

Gui Xu Taoist continued, ”After calculating this, I sat alone for a whole night.

That night, I thought a lot.

I thought of you, thought of those disciples who followed me for years, thought of the future of my lineage.”

”Finally, I made a decision.”

He looked at Old Cyan Dragon and the others, with deep apology in his eyes.

”I decided to leave you three behind.”

Old Cyan Dragon and the others were stunned.

Gui Xu Taoist continued, ”The reason I leave you is not because you had done anything wrong or because I didn’t value you, but because you were too important, so I had to leave you behind.”

He sighed and explained, ”Among my disciples, you three are talented mutant beasts with unique bloodline, long lifespan.

You, having been Unity Realm Stage since hundreds of thousands of years ago, barring accidents could still live for hundreds of thousands more.

Only you have such a lengthy lifespan capable of enduring hundreds of thousands of years, waiting for that causality related to me.”

”As for others...” He shook his head, ”Their lifespans are limited, can’t wait that long.”

Old Cyan Dragon and the others listened to master’s explanation, their grievance gradually dissipating, replaced by an indescribable emotion.

So, it was like this.

Master didn’t abandon them but instead entrusted them with the most vital task.

Old Cyan Dragon’s eyes reddened again, this time from being moved rather than aggrieved.

Having lived for hundreds of thousands of years and endured numerous storms, it thought its heart was calm like water.

But at this moment, hearing master’s words, it couldn’t help but have red eyes.

Black Bull choked, unable to speak.

Ming Feng’s eyes also glistened with tears.

She who always prided herself on elegance and nobility, never losing composure in public.

But now, she couldn’t control her emotions.

The grievance in their hearts finally dispersed at this moment.

Because they finally knew, master didn’t forsake them but entrusted a very important task concerning master’s lineage survival to them.

This task, they completed.

They waited.

Waited for this young man named Lu Qing.

Gui Xu Taoist, seeing their appearance also had a trace of empathy flashing in his eyes.

He said softly, ”You have suffered these years.”

Old Cyan Dragon quickly shook his head, saying with a trembling voice, ”Master speaks heavily! Being able to serve master is our duty! We are not suffering!”

Black Bull also nodded repeatedly, tears still falling: ”Right, right, not suffering, not suffering! Not at all!”

Ming Feng also spoke, with a bit of choking in her voice: ”Master rest assured, we are doing well here, never suffering any hardship, just... just missing master greatly.”

Gui Xu Taoist looked at them, nodded with relief.

Then, he turned to Lu Qing.

”Child, now you understand, don’t you? The causality I sensed back then, fell upon you.”

Lu Qing didn’t speak, just quietly looked at him.

Gui Xu Taoist continued, ”You stepped into the Unity Realm Stage with nine Great Dao, such achievements, not to mention my era, even in ancient times, no one had accomplished such a feat.”

He paused, voice tinged with solemnity.

”Your potential is unimaginable, if even you can’t save my lineage, then I genuinely can’t think of anyone who could.”

Lu Qing fell silent for a moment then asked, ”Master, what does ’saving the lineage’ actually mean? Where did you go back then? What did you encounter?”

Upon hearing this, Old Cyan Dragon and the others also showed interest.

They also wanted to know where master went back then.

Gui Xu Taoist remained silent for a while, then slowly opened his mouth.

”This matter, is a long story...”
