Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

From MC’s Perspective:

Forbidden area:

The dark-winged worm went on a rampage. It had lost its prey. After tearing apart the surrounding area, the worm monsters went back underground. If the prey appears next time, it will strike first.

Inside the Gregor Mansion, I continued to lie on the floor. The dark mana was causing the problem. Even if I tried to circulate the mana, it still caused severe pain.

About a few hours later,

I stood up after some struggle and slowly walked towards the control room to check. Upon arriving there, I saw there was no movement outside.

There was no sign of the dark-winged worm monster.

Swoosh!

With a thought, I appeared back outside. Then I turned around to return to the place inside the cave. From now on, I won’t step inside the charred land, even if there are treasures and other resources.

Shortly afterward,

I returned to the previous spot inside the cave. I simply leaned against the cave wall and decided to wait for Lord Charlotte to arrive.

Only she can save me quickly. It’s been some time since I was this hurt. This feeling of pain is unimaginable.

I have some potions with me, but I have decided to consume them only when my current condition worsens.

…

Meanwhile,

In another place in the same territory, the Forbidden Wizard Remi received a call from acquaintances. They wanted him to ask the Fate Wizard to find out Vincent Carey’s current whereabouts.

They had searched the previous location, but it had been confirmed more than once that Vincent Carey was not there. They had decided to seek the help of the Fate Wizard again.

Only the Fate Wizard can help them through this situation. They were also aware that the Silver Tower had found out they were relying on the Fate Wizard’s help.

Forbidden Remi frowned after ending the call. The call was not pleasant. Their side had yet to capture the new wizard seed of the Silver Tower.

Some thought that the new wizard seed, Vincent Carey, was hiding inside the Silver Tower. But their Dark Fate Wizard had confirmed that the kid was not in the magic city at all.

Otherwise, there would be more people from the Mage Union knocking on the doors of the Silver Tower. Remi was also aware that their side was mistaken.

They were just using the tough situation of the Silver Tower to inflict more damage. What could be worse than if the new wizard seed of the Silver Tower were eliminated? It would be a huge blow to the Silver Tower.

Gravity Magic is considered one of the ancient sub-taboo magics. Once such a wizard seed becomes powerful, he becomes a headache for the other magic towers.

Remi knew that he couldn’t afford to waste time. They were using the absence of the big figures in the Mage Union. If they returned, then they would be exposed.

Before such a thing happens, they have to execute their plan. So Remi left his place to find the Dark Fate Wizard.

It didn’t take long for him to reach the location. The Dark Fate Wizard lived in an isolated place. The Dark Fate Wizard wouldn’t have helped them if not for certain conditions.

Now they were seeking more help from him. Then the number of conditions would increase.

The Dark Fate Wizard appeared to be a dying old man, but his real age could shock everyone. Remi didn’t waste any time before asking his questions.

The old man was surprised. Previously, he had given them the location of that kid, yet they failed to capture him. He didn’t ask further questions because he needed their help as well.

Then he started using his fate magic. Not long after, he felt an ominous sign. He immediately stopped using the magic. He knew what this meant.

The enemy had found out about his magic. They had used their countermeasures. Now it was troublesome for him. There is a huge cost for deducing something related to the ominous.

The old man then turned towards Forbidden Remi and told him about the problem. Forbidden Wizard Remi wasn’t expecting this answer. He thought that the Fate Wizard could do anything.

But he received an unexpected answer. He then asked the old man whether he was willing to help them. But the old man gave a straightforward answer.

“The cost will be huge. I need resources from outer space. For example, resources that could expand lifespan,” the old man replied.

Remi was stunned. He knew that outer space’s resources were not easy to obtain. It was one thing to have resources, but what the Fate Wizard wanted were lifespan-expanding resources.

Remi didn’t know whether those people could find such resources. Even if they existed, it would be deadly to get their hands on them.

Because there were old monsters living in the Mage Union who wanted the same resources as well. Remi then asked for time before leaving the place.

“Before coming here next time, I want you to come with the resources as well,” the old man said.

Remi paused in his footsteps. Then he turned around and nodded to him before leaving. The old man wouldn’t let go of such a fat sheep, especially when he needed so many resources.

Remi then returned to his place and informed those who were sitting in the Wind Elemental Tower. They were taken aback and shocked.

They didn’t know what had happened, but Remi could guess that the Silver Tower had hidden the new wizard seed in a difficult place.

The Dark Forbidden Wizard had difficulty in finding the location, so he had demanded such resources from them.

Now it was up to the Wind Elemental Tower whether they were ready to proceed with their plan or abandon it. They knew there were many ways to eliminate the wizard seed.

There was no need for the Fate Wizard. But their current situation was such that they needed the old man’s help, because the Fate Wizard in the Mage Union was supportive of the Silver Tower.

Already, they had failed to capture the new wizard seed, Vincent Carey. They couldn’t afford to waste any more time. So the Forbidden Wizards and other influential people decided to discuss it first.

..

Magic City:

Now, the whole Magic City is waiting for a reaction from the Wind Elemental Tower because one of their wizard seeds was crippled. They have accused the wizard seed of the Silver Tower.

People from the Mage Union came to capture the new wizard of the Silver Tower, but they were all driven away by the Forbidden Wizards.

Everyone was captured on camera. The news reporters and media broadcasted the footage on the news.

They saw how the wizards of the Mage Union left with red faces. The Wind Elemental Tower and the Black Tower watched in silence.

They couldn’t do anything. At this point in time, the analysts are discussing the claims made by the Wind Elemental Tower.

Everyone can tell that the claim is false. They think that the Wind Elemental Tower is trying to frame Vincent Carey for some reason.

It has become the topic of discussion for everyone, from the normal vendor shops to the big wizard families.

Especially for those who are acquainted with Vincent Carey. It has become their problem as well.

….

Brother’s Collection:

Old Man Martin has closed down his shop, but he is staying inside. The news about Vincent Carey has impacted him greatly these days.

He hadn’t expected the Wind Elemental Tower to come up with this nasty trick. As an old fellow, he was able to gather some information through his connections.

They wanted to stir up trouble during the absence of the backers of the Silver Tower in the Mage Union. If they were here, this nuisance wouldn’t have happened.

But unfortunately, the Silver Tower found itself in a tricky situation. They had to delay the request of the Mage Union official as long as possible.

He knows what would happen if they get their hands on Vincent Carey. They wouldn’t dare to kill him, but the chances of them crippling him are higher.

Already, the wizard seeds of the Silver Tower are strong to begin with. Each of them is backed by a powerful force, except Vincent Carey.

That’s why Vincent Carey has become a target for everyone.

“Poor kid,” Old Man Martin sighs inwardly.

But he is glad that Forbidden Charlotte is clever. He thinks that she has hidden the kid somewhere.

Otherwise, the Mage Union wouldn’t be silent like the other analysts on the news. He thinks that they have sought the help of the Fate Wizard as well.

“If they sought the help of the Fate Wizard, then it can be said that the kid is not here,” Old Man Martin said to himself.

Otherwise, everyone would have seen further actions either from the Wind Elemental Tower or the Mage Union. He hopes that those big shots return soon.

So then the ongoing problems can be solved. He can’t directly help the kid with this problem because it’s a small part of the ongoing conflict between the Magic Towers.

Unfortunately, the new kid was caught up in it. He knows that the Silver Tower is not weak either. It’s next to the Red Magic Tower in terms of power and strength.
