Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

From MC’s Perspective:

About 20 minutes later,

I came to the living area. The three wizard seeds were waiting for me there. Upon seeing me, they all stood up.

I’m still feeling uneasy looking at their smiling faces. Before I could say something, one more person appeared.

The person was none other than Manager Lara. We informed her about the lunch plan. She was surprised at first before agreeing.

“Let’s go,” Susan uttered.

I nodded to her. Then the four of us left the Silver Tower. To my surprise, I saw a big four-wheeler parked in front of the tower.

“It’s mine,” Susan said.

She had brought her large flying vehicle, which could accommodate all four of us. Then we entered the vehicle. I sat in the back in the window seat.

Susan Park sat beside me. Jason sat in the front. Wilfred Cox was the one who was going to drive.

Shortly afterwards,

The car hovered in the air before moving toward the destination.

“Have you picked the place for lunch?” I asked.

“Yes, it’s located at the central plaza,” Susan replied.

I raised my eyebrows in surprise. Old Man Martin’s bookstore was near the plaza.

Then I thought of the mask before taking it out to wear.

Jason Nicholson was taken aback. Then he shook his head.

Wilfred Cox noted the mask as well.

He said, “We are going to the luxurious restaurant where the wizard seeds usually go. There is no need for the mask. The outside crowd won’t come in.”

“Yes, Vincent, he is right. There is no need to be so cautious,” Susan reminded me.

Hearing that, I thought of something. I could use the mask to hide my face, but still, the wizards like Margot could see through it. Then I put the mask back before looking at the passing scene through the window.

Susan smiled. She could understand that Vincent didn’t want to meet the public eye. The reporters were already talking about tomorrow’s duel.

Instead of preparing for tomorrow, he was going out for lunch with them. It’s a great topic to make a headline.

It didn’t take long for us to reach the central plaza, but Wilfred was driving toward the luxurious restaurant.

He continued to drive in mid-air, following the vehicle.

About 10 minutes later,

I noticed the vehicle was entering a gated community. A look of understanding dawned on me. From here on, it was private property.

The shops here were for the residents living here.

“A Healthy-Eatery”

Then I saw the name board on the multi-storey brick building. Wilfred Cox slowly landed the car in front of the building.

Creak!

We then walked out. I started looking around. I knew Wizard Melissa lived in the gated community as well, but her home was located in a different part of the city.

“It’s a famous restaurant of the Magic Tower’s Wizard Seeds,” I heard Susan’s voice.

Then I collected my thoughts and looked at her.

“Are there any other wizard seeds here?” I asked her.

“Who knows?”

“Let’s see,” After saying that, she walked into the building.

Jason and Wilfred had already gone inside. Then I followed her to enter the building. What greeted me was amazing decor and paintings on the walls.

I felt mana fluctuations from some of them.

“Magic Artifacts,” I uttered in disbelief the next moment.

“You are right. These are Magic Artifacts used as decorative pieces here. So don’t be surprised,” Susan said.

“Let’s go; they have gone to the 3rd floor. There is more privacy there,” she added.

Then I followed her into the lift.

Shortly afterwards,

We arrived on the 3rd floor. I saw Jason Nicholson and Wilfred Cox had already taken their seats. These were cushioned chairs and they were comfortable.

Then we walked up to them and sat opposite.

“Looks like it’s your first time here,” Wilfred Cox said.

Hearing that, I didn’t get offended and replied, “Yes.”

“From now on, you will be traveling with us. So get used to it,” Wilfred Cox said with a chuckle.

“Hmmm,” I replied.

At this time, the staff came to get the order.

“Get all the signature dishes,” Wilfred Cox said.

The staff nodded. He recognized the customers from their uniforms. He was more shocked upon seeing Vincent Carey, the new wizard seed of the Silver Tower.

The whole magic city was talking about tomorrow’s duel. Yet, the wizard seed Vincent came here to dine with his friends.

He couldn’t wait to share the news with the rest of the staff.

After taking the order, he left. On the other hand, everyone noticed that the staff looked at Vincent Carey before leaving.

“I don’t know what Peter Doyle is doing. He must be practicing seriously,” Susan said.

“I don’t think so,” Wilfred Cox replied.

Hearing that, everyone’s gaze turned toward him.

He smiled and said, “As per the information I know so far, that guy is spending time leisurely in the Wind Elemental Tower, which means he didn’t take the duel challenge seriously.”

Gasp!

Susan took a sharp breath.

He said, “It means he is either confident or he has a trump card.”

Jason Nicholson didn’t say anything. He continued to listen. But Wilfred’s gaze turned toward me.

“Wind Twister,” I said in my heart.

I already knew the strength of the magic spell. But even if Peter Doyle had another trump card, I was ready to face him.

The atmosphere had become unusually quiet. Susan Park changed the topic and started discussing it. She was speaking about the Mage Union.

It’s also a topic that interests me, so I continued to listen.

Shortly afterwards,

A few staff members came carrying food plates. Then they started to arrange the food. I noticed that the staff’s gazes were on me.

I understood that the previous person had told others. I nodded to them. One by one, they set the food plates before leaving.

“Looks like your whereabouts are going to be leaked soon,” Susan said with a chuckle.

Then we started digging in.

…

Black Tower:

The eyeliner set by Forbidden Wizard Remi sent him a message. After reading the message, Remi was stunned. He hadn’t expected Vincent Carey to leave the Silver Tower today.
