Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

From MC’s Perspective:

Night fell, and I returned to my room. Then I entered the bathroom to take a shower. The bath lasted for half an hour. After that, I stepped out and changed into comfortable clothes.

I went to the bed and lay down comfortably. The challenge duel was over. It was a lesson for both the Black Tower and the Wind Elemental Tower.

Hereafter, they would think twice before bothering me. Then I recalled the statements, like Manager Lara had said to me. I should be careful about the Doyle Family.

But it’s impossible for me to spend all my time here. Eventually, I have to sell the appraised items to the auction house.

After collecting my thoughts, I decided to sleep.

The following day,

After getting out of bed, I started my morning routine. It didn’t take long for me to complete it.

About one hour later,

After getting ready, I left the room and went to the living area. I thought about meeting Manager Lara. But to my surprise, someone else was sitting on the sofa.

When I got closer, I saw that the person was none other than Forbidden Wizard Charlotte.

“Lord,” I uttered.

Hearing that, Charlotte removed her pointy hat and looked at Vincent Carey. Her eyes flashed with a twinkle. Upon seeing Vincent Carey, she immediately thought of the Fate Wizard.

According to other forbidden wizards’ statements and the Fate Wizard’s words, she was able to confirm that Vincent Carey has the potential to become a Forbidden Wizard.

On the other hand, I continued to remain silent. I didn’t know why she was looking at me with a serious face.

“You have done a good job. The Black Tower and the Wind Elemental Tower will be quiet for some time,” Charlotte said.

Hearing her praise, I thanked her.

Charlotte then thought of something before saying, “I heard from Lara that you uncovered an anti-mana arrowhead.”

“Yes,” I replied.

“Keep it with you. It might come in handy one day,” Charlotte said.

I nodded to her, but her facial expression showed that something was bothering her. I didn’t know what it was, and I didn’t even dare to ask her.

Charlotte was thinking about the mastermind. The mastermind’s target was Vincent Carey.

In order to deal with Vincent Carey, he was ready to sacrifice other wizard seeds as collateral damage. It was a huge attack on their Silver Tower.

She had to do something before something serious occurred next time.

She then asked, “How has your experience been so far in the magic city?”

Hearing that, I was stunned. Before I could answer, she asked me to sit. It felt like some kind of friendly interrogation. I sat opposite her on the sofa.

Then I collected my thoughts before answering her.

“I had a good experience so far. I was able to meet new people,” I said to her.

“Have you offended anyone?” she asked.

My expression changed drastically. This wasn’t a friendly conversation. She wanted to know something specific.

“Only Forbidden Wizard Remi showed open hostility toward me. I don’t even know why,” I replied.

Charlotte’s eyes flickered. She was thinking of the same name as well. But then, like Vincent Carey, she was confused too. What was the reason for this open hostility?

She didn’t even know yet? Then she said, “Vincent Carey, Manager Lara might have reminded you, but I will say it once again.”

“Don’t leave the magic city. The Doyle Family won’t be able to do anything here. But outside the magic city, anything can happen,” she said.

“I understand,” I said to her.

“Good. You can go now,” she said.

Hearing that, I stood up and nodded to her before leaving the place.

Charlotte decided to chat with Erwin. Since it was confirmed that Forbidden Wizard Remi was up to no good, she decided to discuss it with others.

…

The Doyle Family:

Tom Doyle was in his room. Since the duel day, he hadn’t left the house because of his cousin’s situation. His brilliant cousin had become crippled now.

The Wind Elemental Tower had kicked him out of the magic tower. Now he was bedridden in the house. The whole family felt helpless and angry. But it was good news for him.

He didn’t dare to show it outside, but he was happy and excited inside. If he wanted to thank someone, it should be Vincent Carey.

Unknowingly, Vincent Carey had helped him greatly. But that was it. He still hadn’t forgotten the humiliation. The whole family was fuming against him.

He was sure that the family higher-ups must have already formed a plan to deal with Vincent Carey. Even if he didn’t do anything, the family would take care of him.

On the other hand, the family elders were indeed discussing a serious plan. Everyone was feeling uncontrollable anger. It was not just about the humiliation.

But the condition of Peter Doyle had shocked them. There was confusion about how it had happened. No one saw Peter Doyle’s core damage at the end of the duel.

Later, when he was taken to the infirmary, the family was able to learn about the shocking news. They learned that Peter Doyle’s mana core was damaged.

They also knew that Peter Doyle had been unconscious the whole time.

They decided to investigate the matter. But when the family had tried to investigate, the Wind Elemental Tower had blocked them from the investigation. They said they would investigate. The Doyle Family higher-ups felt something was wrong.

But they didn’t dare to go against the Wind Elemental Tower.

According to their words, they had put out a statement. The higher-ups thought that Peter Doyle’s mana core damage could be related to the Wind Elemental Tower.

But unfortunately, they could only turn their anger toward Vincent Carey. If not for Vincent Carey, the situation wouldn’t have become like this today.

The family higher-ups thought that the Wind Elemental Tower’s change in response was due to Peter Doyle’s defeat. If he had won, things would have been different.

But he was kicked out of the tower. Now they could only focus on Tom Doyle. So they were discussing how to proceed hereafter. They couldn’t hide from the world forever.
