Gene Unlocking: I Evolve Every Day

”Heat death” is something everyone knows the meaning of.

According to the second law of thermodynamics, as an ”isolated” system, the entropy of the Cosmos will increase over time, moving from order to disorder.

When the entropy of the Cosmos reaches its maximum value, all other effective energy in the Cosmos has been completely converted into thermal energy, and the temperature of all matter reaches thermal equilibrium.

This state is called heat death.

In such a Cosmos, there is no longer any energy left to sustain motion or life.‌

So far, even the most powerful intelligent civilization race in the Cosmos, the Martial Hero Race, has not yet discovered the boundaries of the Cosmos.

Therefore, even in the textbooks of advanced civilized races, the term ”heat death” is still a ”conjecture,” rather than a proven fact.

All of these are not of much significance.

What’s significant is that although everyone knows what ”heat death” is, no one really expected the Prophet to be so formidable as to invent a weapon capable of ”heat death.”

On one hand, there’s the most terrifying phenomenon of the Cosmos—heat death.

On the other hand, there is the one true God of the Cosmos—Lu Li.

The collision between the two is about to be grandly staged.

Whenever anyone thinks about such a collision, they can’t help but feel excited and want to know the final outcome.

The chief technology officer of the Titan Battleship, Broos, is a Kebi Star person.

He has such extensive knowledge that describing him as a humanoid encyclopedia is no exaggeration.

He looked out the window with a face full of excitement, his voice trembling slightly, ”What do you think, will the ’heat death’ weapon defeat the true god, or will the true god ignore heat death?”

Seakma speechlessly replied, ”Is that even a question? Of course, Land God will win effortlessly.”

Bu Qing is also a fanatic of Lu Li.

He scoffed at Broos, ”Up till now, is there anything Land God hasn’t been able to accomplish? And you’re still asking who will win or lose? Does such a question have any meaning at all?”

Kegemo, Acotina, and other mid-high-level commanders all thought the same.

Wang Yu, Zhang Qian, and ten thousand super soldiers go without saying.

After they acquired superpowers, they realized how truly powerful Lu Li is.

It is powerful enough to astonish the long river of history of this Cosmos.

Therefore, neither the commanders nor the super soldiers believe Lu Li will be defeated.

But Broos and a group of technology officers didn’t think this way.

This is not to say they don’t believe in Lu Li’s divine power, but they know too much.

They understand too well just how terrifying heat death is, which is why they have doubts.

According to thermal theory conjectures, when heat death is born, the entire universe’s energy will be completely exhausted, all life will disappear, and even the vast Cosmos, whose boundaries are yet to be found, will also ”die.”

Just imagine, without energy, life disappears, and even the Cosmos is destroyed; such a scenario is terrifying.

In the minds of Broos and a group of technology officers, they feel that such an ultimate ”end” of the Cosmos as heat death is the most terrifying thing, and even gods cannot resist it.

Therefore, the ”learned” Broos and hundreds of technology officers were somewhat worried deep inside their hearts, wondering if Lu Li cannot resist heat death, and then if the Prophet strikes again, will they once again face life and death?

...

Somewhere else, the rest cabin.

Lu Yuan and hundreds of thousands of reporters from various races were also discussing the matter.

A reporter from the Black Stone Race nervously said, ”Do you know what a ’heat death’ weapon is?”

A female reporter from Kala Star said with a serious face, ”Although I don’t know what a ’heat death’ weapon is, the earlier conversation between Land God and the Prophet indicates that the weapon the Prophet will use next is very likely to create an effect of ’heat death’ across a large area, which will be one of the most terrifying phenomena in the Cosmos, similar to ’vacuum decay.’”

”Indeed, ’heat death’ is definitely a terrifying cosmic phenomenon on par with ’vacuum decay,’” a male reporter from Norton Star sighed, ”Whether it’s ’heat death’ or ’vacuum decay,’ both can destroy the entire Cosmos.”

A male reporter from the Purple Potato Titan Race said, ”In terms of the scope of destruction, ’vacuum decay’ is more terrifying, because once it is born, it cannot be reversed. ’Vacuum decay’ will spread and expand at the speed of light in all directions until the entire Cosmos falls from a high energy level to a low energy level, marking the end of the Cosmos. However, in terms of a closed ’system,’ ’heat death’ is clearly more powerful. It will bring thermal energy to balance, so that there is no temperature difference anymore. Simply put, no matter how immense your energy is, it will eventually be balanced by ’heat death,’ and finally slowly extinguish like a neutron star or white dwarf, eventually evaporating and completely disappearing.”

”Heat death, collapse, and vacuum decay are known as the three major conjectures of the Cosmos ending, each extremely terrifying.”

”No matter which of the three occurs, it is actually not something our current technology can counter, even for the Martial Hero Race.”

”Rumor has it that the Prophet already invented a ’vacuum decay’ weapon and used it against the Divine Moonlight Race, and now he has invented a ’heat death’ weapon to deal with Land God. Clearly, he thinks that ’vacuum decay’ cannot harm Land God. Therefore, in my opinion, as a cosmic terrifying phenomenon of the same level, ’heat death’ cannot possibly harm Land God even in the slightest.”

”That’s not exactly correct. The Prophet believes that ’vacuum decay’ cannot harm Land God because ’vacuum decay’ transitions energy from a high energy level to a low energy level. If Lu Li’s power exceeds the ’vacuum decay’ reaction chain, he can be unharmed. Therefore, the Prophet’s belief that ’vacuum decay’ cannot harm Land God is actually quite obvious. However, you must understand that ’heat death’ balances all energies until they are exhausted and eventually vanish. This phenomenon, locally speaking, is far scarier than ’vacuum decay.’ No matter how immense your energy, it will ultimately be balanced. So how can Land God unleash his power when energy is balanced?”
