Fate-Defying Demon Emperor

Chapter 15: Chapter 15: You Dare Kill My Man?

Hmm? Su Han’s brows furrowed slightly as he glanced behind him. He saw a young man in splendid attire approaching. The youth was about twenty years old and dressed richly, clearly from a wealthy family, but he had a distinctly effeminate air about him. The youth was handsome, with phoenix eyes and willow-leaf brows, his lips thin and rosy. At first glance, one might think he was a woman disguised as a man.

But Su Han recognized the youth’s identity in an instant. Qin Feng!

The Qin Family was second only to the royal family within the Imperial Capital, as the empress herself hailed from their ranks. The youth before him was Qin Feng, a leading figure among the Qin Family’s younger generation. He possessed a Golden Spirit Body, his strength was at the Sixth Layer of the Divine Sea Realm, and he had been appointed Marquis Zhenshan at a very young age.

If the Great Crown Prince was considered the top prodigy in the entire Imperial Capital, then Qin Feng could be ranked second. As for Su Han, even with his Heavenly Dragon Battle Body, he could at best barely claim third place. But that was the Su Han of the past. After cultivating the Devouring Heaven Demonic Art, his potential had surpassed anyone else’s.

”Greetings, my lord Marquis!” The steward quickly stood up and bowed respectfully to Qin Feng, a troubled look on his face. Neither Su Han nor Qin Feng was someone a mere steward could afford to offend, yet there was only one Spirit-Nurturing Flower.

”Did you not hear me? Hurry up and pack that Spirit-Nurturing Flower for me,” Qin Feng demanded, raising an eyebrow, his tone imperious.

Su Han’s brows furrowed. He could feel that Qin Feng was deliberately targeting him. ”I was here for this Spirit-Nurturing Flower first.” A treasure that nurtures vitality like this is extremely rare. If I miss this one, who knows when the next will appear?

”Have you paid for it? No, you haven’t,” Qin Feng sneered disdainfully. ”Since you haven’t paid, the transaction isn’t complete. It goes to the highest bidder. Since I’ve offered a higher price, this Spirit-Nurturing Flower is naturally mine.” Others might fear Su Han’s princely status, but Qin Feng was not one of them. Besides, I came today specifically to target him. If I don’t provoke you, how can I find a legitimate reason to kill you?

Qin Feng made no attempt to hide his intentions, and Su Han guessed the Empress was behind it. The Lu Family’s sword has been broken, so now they’re using Qin Feng as a new knife? He understood the situation perfectly, but he was determined to have this Spirit-Nurturing Flower.

”35,000 Spirit Stones.” Su Han looked at the steward and offered a higher price, which only made the man’s predicament worse.

A servant at Qin Feng’s side, knowing his master’s goal was to infuriate Su Han, deliberately spoke up. ”My lord Marquis, I’ve heard that Lu Yunxian of the Lu Family is in a coma from excessive blood loss. I suppose the Ninth Prince wishes to buy the Spirit-Nurturing Flower for her. She’s just an adopted, lowly maid. Why care so much about her? Wouldn’t it be better to just let her die?”

Qin Feng was pleased with the servant’s words and was about to signal him to continue, but at that moment, Su Han made his move. Executing the Character Technique of Motion, he moved faster than lightning, throwing a punch at the servant’s throat before anyone else could react.

CRACK!

The servant’s throat was instantly crushed. His eyes bulged, blood seeped from his mouth and nose, and he fell to the ground, dead.

”You dare kill my man?” Qin Feng’s eyes widened in fury. He couldn’t believe Su Han would dare kill someone right in front of him. A murderous intent surged forth as he raised his right hand to strike. Even though the servant is dead, my goal of provoking Su Han has been achieved. With my strength, a full-force attack will be enough to kill him swiftly. Afterwards, my aunt—the Empress—will protect me. I’ll face some punishment at most, but it’s nothing serious. With this in mind, Qin Feng prepared to deliver a killing blow.

Su Han sensed Qin Feng’s killing intent but showed no fear. His Demonic Qi circulated as he prepared for battle.

”Stop!” a voice abruptly intervened.
