Just as the tension across the starry sky reached a point where even the atmosphere felt frozen in place…

A gentle voice suddenly echoed through the void, “We’ve come here today for a matter of great importance. There’s no need to damage our harmony over such a trivial matter…”

As the voice faded, an elderly figure slowly emerged from a corner of the starry sky.

With long, flowing white hair and a long beard swaying under his chin, he exuded an aura of calm.

“The Heavenly Oracle Clan…” A faint murmur slipped from Yu Zi Yu’s lips as he gradually withdrew the oppressive force he had been unleashing.

He had merely intended to test the Gods, not to truly clash with them.

However, he hadn’t expected that this act would draw out a figure from the legendary Heavenly Oracle Clan.

The Heavenly Oracle Clan was a mysterious and elusive race, said to be capable of divining Heaven’s Secrets, and peering into Fate itself.

However, because they defied the very Will of Heaven, they were cursed by the Dao and now their numbers were exceedingly rare.

In terms of their appearances, they looked no different from Humans, but it was not their form that gave them away. It was that peculiar aura that surrounded them, subtle, elusive.

It resembled the Heavenly Dao, and yet felt eerily disconnected. It was neither divine nor Mortal.

Even so, Yu Zi Yu would not dare look down on this Clan.

For in every era, behind the rise of the greatest powers, there were always whispers of their presence.

In the last epoch, the Heavenly Court that had dominated all races had members of the Heavenly Oracle Clan among its highest ranks.

…

“We have no wish to stir conflict,” came the response, but from the King of Gods in the distance, eager to step down as offered by the Heavenly Oracle Elder.

“Nor do I.” Yu Zi Yu smiled faintly, showing no intention of brushing aside the Elder’s attempt at mediation.

But then, as if remembering something, his gaze sharpened, and his tone turned cold, “You’d best restrain your God of Light. If he dares to make a move against my allies again… I will not hesitate to declare war on your entire God Clan.”

“You—!” A furious cry erupted, but before the God of Chaos could speak further, the one-eyed King of Gods raised a hand to stop him.

Stepping forward, he offered a calm, direct response, “We shall ensure he is disciplined accordingly…”

Then, suddenly changing the subject, the King of Gods added with a light chuckle, “Though we must admit… We didn’t expect someone of your stature to step forth… over a mere Angel Clan.”

“Mere?” Yu Zi Yu chuckled softly, offering no rebuttal.

True, the Angel Clan’s current strength left much to be desired, but they were still counted among the Ten Superior Clans.

And any race that earned such a title possessed an amazing yet horrifying potential, a potential that would only become more evident with time.

What defined a Superior Clan was not just current strength, but the sheer number of powerhouses they produced, far surpassing most other races.

Right now, the God Clan looked down on the Angel Clan, but Yu Zi Yu knew that contempt would eventually lead to war.

As for whether the Angels could rival the Gods?

Yu Zi Yu had no doubts.

Perhaps not in the short term.

After all, the Gods, thanks to their exalted lineage, were innately strong.

However, given times, the Angel Clan, with billions upon billions of members, would produce endless waves of powerhouses.

By contrast, the God Clan, for all its might, was cursed with very low birth rates.

So, in terms of future potential, the Angel Clan far surpassed them.

And now, as the Supreme Lord of the Demon Court, Yu Zi Yu had publicly intervened on behalf of the Angels.

If word of this reached them, it would likely pave the way for their eventual allegiance.

That… was the true reason Yu Zi Yu had made his move against the Gods before the eyes of all races.

As for the rest? It was a show of power, and a lesson to those who might overstep.

…

After this, Yu Z Yu spoke no further to the King of Gods, and turned his gaze toward the elderly man with the long white beard slowly approaching.

“To think even the Heavenly Oracle Clan would involve themselves in something like this…” Yu Zi Yu’s voice was calm, but his words carried a trace of intrigue.

“All things follow the course of fate. We merely walk the path it reveals to us,” the Elder of the Heavenly Oracle Clan replied serenely, his eyes lingering on Yu Zi Yu for a moment, and within their depths, a glint of astonishment flickered.

[So this is the newly risen Demon Emperor of the Western Sector? He is truly terrifying, and equally awe-inspiring.]

But then, as if sensing something, the Elder’s expression suddenly changed.

His pupils contracted.

“This… this… this…” Three times he uttered the word, unable to hide the look of utter disbelief in his eyes.

His gaze toward Yu Zi Yu now held an indescribable complexity.

“What is it?” Yu Zi Yu asked, curiosity piqued by the Elder’s reaction.

“Ah… It’s nothing. Nothing at all…” The Elder waved his hands repeatedly, but the shock on his face refused to fade.

Simply because he could not see Yu Zi Yu’s fate, and not due to some protective cultivation technique, nor overwhelming strength, but rather… as if someone had forcibly severed his threads of destiny.

And he was having a hard time digesting this news.

After all, erase another being’s destiny tracks, that was the work of someone standing at the peak of all existences, the Eternals.

[In this day and age… could such beings truly still exist? Unless— Unless…]

*Hoooo…* Taking a long breath, the Elder suppressed the tremor in his heart and took the initiative to greet Yu Zi Yu, “I am the Grand Elder of the Heavenly Oracle Clan. Your Majesty, Demon Emperor, you may call me Seer.”

“Mhmm.” Yu Zi Yu gave a slight nod, a faint curve tugging at his lips.

But then, as if suddenly realizing something, a flicker of confusion passed across his face.

“Did you just call us… ‘Demon Emperor’?”

“Indeed.” The old man nodded calmly, then explained with a touch of reverence, “Your excellency, you are the Supreme Lord of the Demon Court. And now, you wield the might of the ancient Demon Emperors and even rival the Divine Emperor. If not ‘Demon Emperor’ then what title could possibly suit you?”

“Hmmm…” For a moment, Yu Zi Yu was speechless.

And yet, if one looked closely, they would notice that the corner of his eye was twitching uncontrollably.

Because he had already heard that the Heavenly Oracle Clan had a peculiar habit: They loved bestowing titles upon powerful figures.

And the titles they gave…were almost always accurate.

As the saying went: ‘There are only wrong names, never wrong nicknames.’

And the Heavenly Oracle Clan? Their specialty was giving nicknames.

Of course, these were not simple nicknames.

Once they were given, they would often spread far and wide, quickly gaining recognition among the Myriad Races.

That alone was one of the reasons why the Heavenly Oracle Clan held such prestige across the cosmos.

After all, many of the most legendary titles borne by peerless powerhouses had been coined by them.

“Fine then…” With a soft sigh, Yu Zi Yu accepted the title of Demon Emperor, albeit with some reluctance.

At this point, he really had no choice.

Lifting his gaze, he saw one powerhouse after another eyeing him with strange expressions. There were many of awe, many of contemplation.

“Your Majesty, Demon Emperor…” From afar, the Crimson Dragon let out a soft laugh and greeted him respectfully.

“Demon Emperor… the Emperor of all Demons…” A soft murmur came from the Seven-Colored Phoenix, Ni Shang, her gaze upon Yu Zi Yu turning thoughtful.

This was not a simple title, because the word ‘Demon’ in this context encompassed too much.

So vast, so boundless…Even the Dragon Clan and the Phoenix Clan had once been considered branches of the Demon Clan.

So what did the Demon Emperor, the Emperor of all Demons, truly represent?

There was no need for words.

Everyone understood.

Such a title… was not one to be uttered lightly.

It carried the weight of supreme dominance.
