“And now, how do you see the Demon Court?” Yu Zi Yu’s faint voice echoed with an undertone of amusement, a teasing smile curling his lips.

“I…” Faced with that question, Shea fell silent, utterly at a loss for words.

She had thought that what she had seen of the Demon Court was already most of it.

However, now, after following her Master for but a single journey, she was stunned to discover it had only been the tip of the iceberg.

The Demon Court’s most mysterious Nine Heavens, the Divine and Demonic Breeding Ground buried deep within the Void Space, the swarm of billions of Zergs her Master had once mentioned, the Blood Demons rooted in the Kadar Star Domain… and more.

All of it, without exception, left Shea shaken to her core.

And yet, what she did not know was that even the mighty Angel Clan was already within Yu Zi Yu’s grasp.

Though not yet fully subdued, from the look of things, it was only a matter of time.

After all, not long ago, Yu Zi Yu had already made arrangements for the Angel Clan as the Fifth Angel King, Alarion.

At the thought of this, Yu Zi Yu couldn’t help chuckling to himself. However, he had no intention of telling Shea everything just yet.

As she was now, Shea already understood some eighty percent of the Demon Court’s true power.

As for the rest, there was still time for her to experience it firsthand.

With that thought, Yu Zi Yu lifted his gaze and looked at Shea, speaking frankly, “Remember this well: when I am no longer around, this is the power you must protect…”

Those calm words struck like thunder in Shea’s ears.

“Master, what do you mean you won’t be around?” Startled, she asked in confusion.

Such words… they sounded far too much like a final parting, a dying wish.

“Haha…” Realizing how ominous his words had sounded, Yu Zi Yu let out a soft laugh and explained, “I meant when I’ll enter a close-door seclusion.

For cultivators like us, once we enter true seclusion, it could be ten years… or a thousand. You understand what that means, don’t you?”

At those words, Shea finally understood.

However, thinking back to all the places her Master had just shown her, the weight in her heart only grew heavier.

[So… this is the true Demon Court…] With a quiet sigh, Shea swallowed her awe and steadied herself.

At this moment, she knew that what mattered most was listening to her Master’s teachings.

…

“Cultivation depends on two things: cultivation of body, and cultivation of your mind. Thanks to the Eternal Dragon, your foundations are already quite solid. But your State of Mind… still needs to grow.”

Hearing this, Shea too nodded in realization.

Indeed, compared to others, she was like a child wielding a Divine Artifact.

Her offensive power was overwhelming, but mentally, she lacked the fortitude.

That weakness became especially obvious when facing enemies skilled in Psychic Power.

“Fortifying your State of Mind is now your top priority,” speaking with a faint smile, clearly outlined Shea’s path forward.

Then, after a pause, he added, “For now, you’ll follow me as we walk every corner of the Demon Court…

What you’ve seen so far was only the hidden might of the Court.

Next, I’ll let you experience it for yourself.”

As he spoke, a thoughtful light flickered in Yu Zi Yu’s eyes.

Not just for Shea, Yu Zi Yu himself needed to visit each stronghold and remain stationed for a time.

After all, prolonged absence could lead to cracks forming.

And now, he wanted to find these cracks and mend them before they spread.

More importantly, Yu Zi Yu didn’t have much time left.

More and more powerful beings were now gathering in the Central Sector.

Once the time was right, the subjugation of the Heaven-Connect Jianmu would inevitably commence.

And when that day came, the vast universe would witness a great reshuffling of power.

If today, the Demon Court was vying for dominance over the Western Sector, then after the subjugation of the Heaven-Connecting Jianmu, the Demon Court would be contending for the entire starry cosmos.

…

“The Dragon Clan and the Phoenix Clan of the Eastern Sector, which has long risen to prominence… Oh yes, the Gods too, they all can’t be underestimated… ” murmuring to herself, Yu Zi Yu’s eyes turned pensive.

The starry sky was entering a time of great upheaval.

And now, all he could do was cultivate this Disciple of his as swiftly as possible—before true chaos descended upon the world.

Once Shea had reached the Intermediate or Late-Stage Tier-6, she would be capable of defending one or two major strongholds of the Demon Court.

However, defense wasn’t Yu Zi Yu’s ultimate goal, what Yu Zi Yu truly envisioned was for Shea to become the sharpest sword of the Demon Court.

Wherever she passed, nothing could stand in her way.

At that time, Shea would be worthy of being called the living and breathing heritage of the Demon Court.

Smiling faintly at the thought, a spark of anticipation flickered deep within Yu Zi Yu’s eyes.

…

However, after another thought, Yu Zi Yu threw these thoughts to the back of his mind, as now was not the time to dwell on such matters.

“Come. I’ll first take you to the Realm of Life for three months of cultivation.”

At the drop of his words, space and time twisted, like the illusion of a dream, and before Shea could comprehend, Yu Zi Yu had already brought Shea to the very heart of the Realm of Life.

And in the next moment, before Shea could even react—

*Booooom…* A thunderous roar reverberated across the sky, and the entire Realm of Life trembled.

Looking up, the earth, the trees… everything across the Realm of Life began to shimmer, and pure wisps of Vitality began to rise into the air

After rising in the air, these wisps circled for a moment, before they surged toward Shea, pouring into the deepest parts of her body.

“Master, this is…?”

“This is the Realm of Life’s gift to you… It will greatly enhance your physical body.” Smiling, Yu Zi Yu replied frankly.

However, he withheld one truth: This was not merely a gift. It was, more precisely, a debt of gratitude, because this kind of strengthening came with no side effects.

And the cost?

The Realm of Life had to draw on the Vitality, the very essence of countless living beings dwelling within it. This Vitality was akin to a diluted version of their Quintessence.

Unfortunately, most of those beings were still too weak to form true Quintessence.

And so, Shea now owed a karmic debt to every single one of those countless lifeforms.

In the future, should the creatures of the Realm of Life ever fall into peril…Shea would be duty-bound to protect them.

And that, too was a subtle form of binding Yu Zi Yu had arranged.

For a girl like Shea, it was a given that she’ll be grateful for the favours she had received.

Today, since the Realm of Life had offered her deep nourishment, one day, she would surely return that favor in kind.

Of course, this was also part of a small, private transaction Yu Zi Yu had made with the myriad living beings of the Realm of Life in his capacity as its Lord.

Smiling again, Yu Zi Yu felt all his arrangements falling perfectly into place.
