Solitude’s report caused Yu Zi Yu’s eyes to narrow slightly.

He could not help but admit in awe that the Void Clan was terrifying. The fact that they had amassed such a formidable force in just two short years was quite a monumental feat compared to the other side.

Though their numbers could not compare to the countless billions of troops fielded by the Myriad Races in the universe, the Void Clan excelled in individual strength.

Against a single Tier-2 Void Creature, the Myriad Race would have to rally several Tier-2 experts to subdue it.

That was not considering some of the exceptional Void Creatures, who were an edge above their peers.

Take Avril, for example. Even when she was facing nine equally ranked experts of Myriad Races, she fought relentlessly without defeat and even slew one of her attackers during their siege.

Such prowess was truly shocking.

Unfortunately, this very incident became the catalyst for war between the Void and the Myriad Races.

Now, in the universe, a coalition to oppose the Void had been formed, known as the Holy Light Alliance, spearheaded by the Angel Clan, with the Elemental Clan, Divine Titan Clan, and the Demon Court providing support.

Though the alliance lacked substantial power in its formation, its purpose was clear: In the face of a Void Invasion, the alliance would mobilize immediately.

Even if two Forces were at war, they would be required to cease hostilities and join forces against the Void Clan.

This agreement was solidified by a ‘Unity Agreement,’ personally signed by the leaders of the Major Forces.

At that time, Yu Zi Yu, controlling the Void Elf Form, had left the Milky Way to participate in signing the pact.

However, as he pondered this, a cold smile crept onto Yu Zi Yu’s face.

This so-called pact held no real binding power.

When conflicts of interest arose, who would truly care about such a ‘pact’?

Not to mention, Yu Zi Yu had already gathered his forces, and was ready to strike at the Angel Clan.

*Hehe…* Letting out a cold chuckle, Yu Zi Yu lifted his gaze, his golden eyes gleaming with a faint light as he looked toward the eight figures standing at the forefront of the Void Army.

Surrounded by an oppressive aura, violet energy coiled around them like serpents, they exuded a terrifying sense of dominance. Each figure was a paragon of dread, embodying the very essence of demons and devils.

Among them stood the Void Angel—Avril, with her six wings, dark and imposing, bearing the great title of ‘Fallen.’

Beside her was Trineye—bearing the name ‘Solitude,’ a colossal entity whose sheer size was overwhelming.

Then there was ‘Wings,’ a massive avian Void Creature, whose shadow seemed to swallow the horizon itself. With no visible end to its expansive wingspan, it appeared as if it could blot out the very stars.

These were but a few of the eight, each one a force of nature in their own right.

Every single one of them had reached the peak of power, standing as Intermediate to Late Stage Tier-5 elites.

They were the eight Generals under Yu Zi Yu’s Purple Dragon Form.

Beyond these elite eight, there stood another formidable force: 34 Tier-5 Void Creatures who had either recently advanced or were in the Early Stage of Tier-5.

Though their power could not rival the Eight Generals, they were leagues above ordinary Tier-4 creatures. Each of them possessed the strength to dominate battlefields and hold their ground against even the most fearsome foes.

However, even with 42 Tier-5 True Gods under his command in his Purple Dragon Form, Yu Zi Yu couldn’t ignore a bitter truth—this was still far from enough.

When measured against the Angel Clan, he was at a disadvantage.

And compared to the Demon Court, the gap was even wider.

From what Yu Zi Yu knew, the Demon Court currently had an overwhelming 70-80 Tier-5 True Gods, such as the Holy Son and Holy Daughter of Earth’s Vatican, the three Guardians of Earth’s Barbarian Clan, the Four Dragon Clan Leaders of Elysia’s Dragon Clan, and the venerable Elders of the Elf Clan.

Even his old acquaintance, the one from China who walked the Imperial Path, had ascended to Tier-5.

Yet, none of these extraordinary individuals had become the core of the Demon Court.

The Demon Court was already dominated by its leaders from the Misty Mountains. No additional power, no matter how formidable, could shift its foundation.

At its helm stood the terrifying Peak Tier-5 Nine Tails and the enigmatic Golden Monkey.

As for others who had reached Tier-5? Unless they were part of the Demon Court’s inner circle or recognized directly by Yu Zi Yu, they remained peripheral members at best—or Honorary Guests.

However, as Yu Zi Yu’s thoughts drifted, his gaze fell upon an unassuming young woman not far away.

Her golden hair cascaded down her back, shimmering faintly even amidst the oppressive darkness of Void Space.

Her upper body was encased in sleek black armor, while her lower half was adorned with an intricate black Gothic Lolita dress, exuding an air of both elegance and menace.

At a glance, she resembled a princess of the night—noble, graceful, and untouchable.

The young woman stood silently, her hands resting lightly on an ornate longsword. Yet, despite her stillness, an indescribable chill emanated from her, as if the very air around her had frozen.

She was one of Yu Zi Yu’s eight Generals, a formidable pillar of his Void Army.

But before she became a General, she had been the ruler of Earth’s Great Britain—the legendary King of Knights.

Benevolent and noble, she was once hailed as the most honorable of knights.

Wielding the fabled Excalibur, she had ascended as king after drawing the blade, embodying the virtues of a ruler destined for greatness.

Yet, fate was often merciless.

With the Demon Court’s meteoric rise, led by Yu Zi Yu’s unparalleled power, the King of Knights’ kingdom was reduced to nothing but history’s shadow.

And she—once a radiant symbol of hope—became a wanderer.

By the time the Demon Court found her, the once-proud King of Knights had become but a shell of her former self. Her brilliant eyes had dulled, and her once-confident gaze now carried a heavy emptiness.

…

As for why the King of Knights now stood in the Void Space, her presence shrouded in darkness, serving as one of Yu Zi Yu’s eight Generals?

It was because Yu Zi Yu had seen her potential. Under the name Corruption, he guided her into the Void.

And she proved herself.

Under Yu Zi Yu’s relentless cultivation, she advanced swiftly, stepping into Tier-5 within a year. Reaching the Intermediate-Stage of Tier-5, she earned her place among the Generals of the Void Army.

Yet, what intrigued Yu Zi Yu most was her paradoxical nature.

Though her body and mind had succumbed to the power of Corruption, her heart remained unyielding. She clung to her true self, her inner honor always intact.

The only noticeable change was her demeanor—colder, more detached, and ruthlessly efficient.

Her strength, however, was beyond question.

Wielding a damaged Tier-7 Divine Artifact—Excalibur—she remained a commanding force on the battlefield, even in the unforgiving expanse of Void Space.

Her signature technique, Avalon, was a nigh-impenetrable defense, so absolute that even Avril, another of Yu Zi Yu’s Generals, found herself powerless against it.

In essence, the King of Knights had not lost her identity. She was still the indomitable knight of legend. However, her fall into the Void had altered the essence of her power, shaping her into something new.

For a ruler who had lost everything, this transformation was less a fall and more of a rebirth.

“To remain steadfast even in the Void… Truly, a knight forged by nature itself,” Yu Zi Yu mused, a faint smile playing on his lips.

[A steadfast Soul like hers… It would be strange if she did not ascend to greatness.]
