In the endless expanse of the starry skies, time knows no measure. In the blink of an eye, several months passed.

During this time, a name began to resound across the galaxies surrounding the Milky Way: The Fallen Angel, Avril.

Others called her ‘The Unholy Daughter Who Betrayed the Holy Light.’

It was this very individual, a delicate girl, judging from her name, who had become the bane of many races, igniting their hatred to the extreme.

The reason was simple: this Fallen Angel, bearing six black wings, had launched repeated assaults on numerous planets.

Even worse, she abducted countless, all under the pretext of ‘needing slaves to build the City of the Fallen.’

Given her actions, it was no surprise that many races had issued bounties on her.

…

Meanwhile, on a crystalline planet, seemingly made up of crystals…

*Booooom, booooom, booooom…* Explosions rang out one after another as powerful auras surged in all directions.

“Avril, how dare you come to our Crystal Clan!?” Shouts filled with shock and rage echoed across the sky as crystalline creatures, seemingly sculpted from shimmering diamonds, shot up into the sky.

The Crystal Clan was ranked among the top 100 of the Myriad Races. They were undeniably a powerful Force in the cosmos.

Their bodies were incredibly sturdy, shiny and beautiful like diamonds.

In fact, the higher their cultivation, the more resplendent their bodies were, to the point that they even glowed with dazzling hues of all kinds of colors.

However, despite their physical might, their Psychic Power was mediocre—far inferior even to some mid-tier races.

And what did that mean? The implications were self-evident.

*Haha…* A cold yet melodious laugh, like the chiming of silver bells, echoed through the air as Avril, hovering gracefully in the sky, unfurled her six wings. From them, countless black feathers scattered like an ominous storm.

The black feathers descended like a relentless downpour, engulfing one of the Crystal Clan’s most prominent cities.

“Is there anywhere I wouldn’t dare go?” Avril sneered, her voice dripping with disdain, as she casually waved her hand as if brushing away specks of dust.

In the next instant, to the horror of the Crystal Clan’s experts, the drifting black feathers suddenly surged forward, accelerating with terrifying speed and transforming into countless razor-sharp swords.

*Boom…Boom…Boom…* A chain of deafening explosions erupted, shaking the city to its core as the once-proud metropolis was swallowed by a torrential flood of lethal feathers.

“You… dare court death!” A furious roar erupted as the City’s Lord, a Peak Demigod, shot into the sky.

But before he could ascend far…

*Booooom…* A resounding impact echoed, and his massive body came to a grinding halt, trembling violently.

At that moment, he finally realized that a shadowy figure had appeared before him without his notice.

Compared to his towering figure, which stood over ten meters tall, the figure was tiny—barely one or two meters in height. Yet, it was this petite figure that had managed to thrust her right arm through his body with a single stab.

Before her, the proud defenses he had always boasted of crumbled like fragile paper.

“A Demigod… not a bad harvest,” Avril remarked with a soft laugh as she slowly withdrew her right arm.

There was no blood, only a shimmering glow rippling across her arm.

The members of the Crystal Clan were not beings of flesh and blood. Their bodies were more akin to Elementals, yet their evolution had diverged toward an even more extreme path.

At least in terms of defense, few among the Elemental Clans could rival the Crystal Clan.

Unfortunately for them, Avril was far too strong.

In just an instant, she closed a gap of several kilometers and slew the Demigod with ease.

It was not a battle; it was more akin to casually erasing a mark from existence.

“Your life still has its use…” With a voice devoid of emotion, Avril gently pushed the Crystal Clan expert aside.

At the same time…

*Crack…* A crisp sound echoed as the space behind him slowly tore open, revealing a rift in space.

The rift was around ten meters long, and resembled the gaping maw of a bottomless abyss, as it swallowed the entire Crystal Clan expert in one gulp.

However, this was merely the beginning.

To fulfill the orders given by the Lord of Corruption, Avril habitually conquered cities to provide a steady supply of captives for her Lord’s selection.

With her six black wings unfurled, Avril gazed at the now-devastated city below, and slowly spread her arms.

“Stargate…” A soft murmur escaped her lips as a towering, cross-shaped gate materialized before her.

Simultaneously, an overwhelming suction force surged from the violet cross-shaped rift.

The Stargate was a portal to Void Space.

The rift Avril had opened this time was vast enough to engulf the entire city.

On the other side of the right, one could see countless Void Creatures awaiting, their eyes burning with

Weaker Void Creatures could not exist in the starry skies for long. It was like a terrestrial creature struggling to adapt to the depths of the ocean, or the air-breathing creatures failing to survive in a vacuum.

Similarly, denizens of Void Space found it difficult to endure the environment of this side of the universe.

Even Tier-4 or Tier-5 Void Creatures, though capable of resisting the environment with their power, instinctively felt repelled by it.

And yet, the Myriad Races on the other side of Void Space were an irresistible temptation for Void Creatures. None of them were willing to abandon such a feast.

This was why the Void Clan had no lasting foothold in the starry skies.

Until they had developed low-tier Void Creatures capable of surviving in the universe for long-term, the Void Clan’s incursions would be nothing more than guerrilla raids. They would attack briefly, plunder flesh and resources, and then retreat en masse back into the Void Space.

Of course, for such raids, someone like Avril was more than sufficient.

As for the Void Army that followed her, she believed it was better for them to remain in the Void Space. Bringing them out would only create unnecessary complications for herself.

…

After engulfing most of the Crystal Clan’s city, Avril seemed to sense something and furrowed her brows slightly.

“Persistent bastards” She muttered before decisively unfurling her wings.

*Boooooom…* With a resounding explosion, Avril’s figure shot off like a streak of dark, purplish light into the depths of the starry skies.

…

Moments after Avril departed…

*Swoosh, swoosh, swoosh…* Sounds of air being cut through followed as eight figures appeared above the ruined Crystal Clan city.

“Damn it… she escaped again!” a furious shout escaped an expert with an eye embedded in his forehead as he gritted his teeth in frustration.

This was a Tier-5 True God of the Three-Eyes Clan.

One of his own planets had suffered a similar fate at Avril’s hands.

As he gazed around, it became evident that all eight individuals present were Tier-5 True Gods.

Each of them exuded a distinct aura and bore wildly differing appearances, reflecting their varied origins.

The group hailed from multiple races: the Three-Eyes Clan, the Titan Clan, the Dragonhawk Clan… Including a renowned and powerful figure of the Angel Clan—the Holy Sword Angel.
