Shortly after Zi Lian left with Avril…

*Swoosh, swoosh, swoosh…* Like a meteor shower, streaks of light abruptly stretched across the distant starry expanse.

“What happened?”

“Why has the Commander’s presence vanished?”

“It’s not just the Commander—even the Tier-5 True Gods of other Forces have disappeared as well!”

Amidst a series of conversations, numerous Angels with blade-like arms emerged one after another.

They were from the Angel Clan, members of the Holy Sword Angel Legion.

Moments ago, they had sensed the disappearance of their Commander, Arto.

And it was not just Arto…

As they gazed toward the farthest reaches of the starry expanse, these Angels noticed more and more experts of various races arriving one after another.

Among them was a Tier-5 True God of the Titan Clan, Cloud Titan.

“It seems that experts from all Forces have suddenly disappeared…” Sighing softly, the Deputy Commander of the Angel Clan knew something monumental had occurred.

The disappearance of a single Tier-5 True God could be considered a coincidence, but now, the simultaneous disappearance of Tier-5 True Gods of multiple major Forces was no small matter.

It even hinted toward the involvement of terrifying existences like Tier-6 Eternal Overlords.

…

Meanwhile, Zi Lian remained completely oblivious to the upheaval erupting in the universe.

As far as he was concerned, he was just saving the Fallen Angel. As a fellow Void Creature, and loyal to the same Master, helping each other was given.

At this moment, Zi Lian had arrived at the Void Continent. He slowly lifted his gaze and looked toward the Dragon-shaped figure coiled at the center of the continent.

Then, alongside the Fallen Angel, he bowed and greeted, “Zi Lian greets Master.”

“I, Avril, greet the Lord of Corruption.”

Hearing their greet, Yu Zi Yu, whose consciousness resided in his Void Dragon Form, responded calmly, “I’ve already learned the details from the Demon Court.”

As he spoke, Yu Zi Yu glanced at the heavily injured Avril. “You’ve endured much.”

Saying so, Yu Zi Yu opened his gaping maw, releasing a beam of violet light.

The moment the violet light enveloped Avril, her shattered body visibly began to heal.

As a member of the Void Clan, Avril could not benefit much from the Life Essence of Yu Zi Yu’s True Body. However, energy infused with Void Energy was immensely beneficial to her.

“Thank you, Lord of Corruption,” Thanking with heartfelt gratitude, Avril knelt on one knee once more.

“You’re welcome.” With a simple reply, Yu Zi Yu added, “For now, you should refrain from hunting. The Myriad Races have already set their sights on you, and venturing out would be dangerous.”

“Yes, Lord of Corruption,” responded Avril. She also knew why Yu Zi Yu had given such a command.

She knew that she had been too reckless. As a result, Zi Lian had to ultimately intervene.

[If I had been a bit more cautious…] Thinking this, Avril could not help but blame herself.

However, at this moment, Yu Zi Yu’s gaze was no longer on her.

*Ha ha…* With a light laugh, Yu Zi Yu turned his attention to Zi Lian and remarked frankly, “It seems your cultivation has been going well. You’ve stabilized it.”

“Thanks to Master’s guidance,” Zi Lian replied with a rare grin.

While summoning the Void Army, Zi Lian had also focused on solidifying his foundation. In just half a month, his cultivation had completely stabilized, and he had also adapted to the surging power within his body.

At this moment, seemingly remembering something, Zi Lian suddenly spoke, “Master, I have already summoned 200,000 soldiers. At this rate, I should be able to summon a million soldiers within two years.”

“Mhmm…* Yu Zi Yu nodded slightly, clearly satisfied.

When it comes to Zi Lian, he always had confidence in him.

Unfortunately, the Myriad Races in the universe had become increasingly wary. It had become extremely difficult to find a suitable opportunity to act.

Considering all this, Yu Zi Yu advised, “For the next two years, have your subordinates lay low…”

Saying so, Yu Zi Yu further elaborated, “On your way back to the Void Continent, several major Forces, including the Angel Star Domain and the Titan Star Domain, extended invitations to our Demon Court. They suggested we work together to confront the Void Clan. They even claimed, ‘A third, unknown Void Emperor has emerged.’”

“Hmm…” After a brief silence, Zi Lian sighed helplessly. “So, I’ve been exposed after all?”

“No, you weren’t exposed… However, for eight Tier-5 True Gods to vanish without a trace, it would take either a Tier-6 Eternal Overlord or a Void Emperor. No other expert could have done it. And considering the residual Void Energy left behind and the fact that most Overlords are currently guarding their own Forces, their suspicions about the birth of a new Void Emperor are understandable.”

Giving a rare explanation, Yu Zi Yu could not help but furrow his brow.

Zi Lian’s actions this time had indeed stirred the hornet’s nest. The Myriad Races were on edge and preparing to join forces against the Void Clan.

This development had derailed Yu Zi Yu’s plans a bit.

However, there was something rather amusing about the situation.

Not long ago, the Demon Court had successfully repelled a major invasion of the Void Clan.

This feat had propelled the Demon Court’s reputation to unprecedented heights.

Some experts had even recommended the Demon Court as the representative to unite the Forces and form an ‘Alliance Against the Void Clan.’

As things stood, the Demon Court was highly likely to become the leading Force in this intricate web of alliances.

At the thought of this, Yu Zi Yu could not help but smile to himself. He found the entire situation both amusing and unexpected.

Nonetheless, he happily welcomed such development.

If the Demon Court’s status among the Forces continued to rise, it could eventually assume a position akin to their leader. And this would significantly benefit Yu Zi Yu in the long term.

Of course, such matters were not something Yu Zi Yu needed to concern himself with. Currently, he had handed over the Demon Court to Nine Tails, Sarcosuchus, and others.

Apart from accepting the necessary contribution of resources, Yu Zi Yu did not interfere in anything else.

Yu Zi Yu was even contemplating a complete separation of the Forces under his command.

For instance, the Purple Dragon would remain stationed on the Void Continent and would no longer be deployed within the Demon Court’s territory.

Similarly, individuals like Zi Lian and Avril would limit their interactions with the Demon Court, creating a deliberate divide.

From now on, the Demon Court would need to establish its place among the myriad Forces entirely on its own, independent of external support.

As for the Society of Demons and Fiends—who straddled the line between good and evil—it, too, would have to navigate the delicate cracks between the Myriad Races and carve out its own path for survival.

Meanwhile, Forces like the Void Continent and the Tree Realm would continue to remain hidden, shrouded from the prying eyes of the world.
