At this moment, leaving aside the Hive Mind’s ramblings… somewhere in a distant Star System…

A vast Zerg Army, as numerous as the stars and resembling a black wave rolling into the depths of space, suddenly halted.

Then, to the astonishment of figures like Sarcosuchus and Little Tenth, the Zerg Army retreated like a receding tide.

Their retreat was extremely swift, enough for not just Little Tenth and Sarcosuchus, but even for the ever-mysterious Golden Monkey to show a trace of confusion.

“What’s going on?” In their shock and doubt, the group exchanged looks.

To say the least, this Zerg Army was absolutely terrifying.

At best, they could only ensure their own survival against such a massive swarm of Zergs.

Even someone as strong as a Tier-5 Transcendent could not make a difference in the face of such an overwhelming swarm. They could fight until their energy was exhausted and still not kill them all.

For the first time, Sarcosuchus and the others were silent in the face of a species whose sheer numbers alone were frightening.

A single Zerg may be like an Ant, but when there are billions of Ants, even an Elephant would tremble.

However, at that moment, as if realizing something, Sarcosuchus and the others suddenly shifted their gaze…

In the retreating swarm, a small force of about a hundred remained behind.

This was a group of bipedal creatures resembling Lizards.

They were a famous, large species of Zerg—Wyverns!

The top-tier advanced soldiers, their combat power was terrifying.

The venom they sprayed could corrode anything, and their high-speed charges were no less dangerous than the brutal rams of top-level Mutant Beasts.

Of course, while they were called Wyverns, they did not have Dragon Blood.

Their appearance merely resembled Wyverns.

Compared to some Wyverns, these creatures were more savage and rugged in their appearance.

“I am the commander of the Wyvern Legion, sent by the Great Mother to offer our apologies… I hope we can cooperate sincerely in the future and jointly conquer the stars…” A sharp voice echoed through the starry sky, carrying an odd sense of sincerity.

“Uh…” Momentarily stunned, Sarcosuchus, Little Tenth, and the others exchanged puzzled glances.

Had they not just witnessed the retreat of the massive Zerg Army, they would have never believed that such an aggressive army would end like this.

And… what!? Cooperation?

“Could it be that our Master has succeeded?”

“Seems like it…”

In hushed whispers, the group could not help but look at each other with strange expressions.

A Zerg Army capable of dominating nearby Star Domains had been subdued just like that. They had to admit, they could not quite understand their Master’s methods.

Back in the depths of the Zerg Hive, after a brief encounter, Yu Zi Yu had quickly become acquainted with Shalira.

Surprisingly, she was quite impressive. Both her personality and combat abilities were highly satisfactory. In some ways, she seemed like a promising Disciple.

And when Yu Zi Yu thought about it, he realized that, on the surface, he had yet to take a Disciple. For someone of his level, it might be time to accept one.

One reason was for the sake of passing on his legacy.

The second was to help maintain appearances.

After all, he could not personally handle everything.

Having a Disciple to share responsibilities would make many things much easier.

With all these thoughts in mind, Yu Zi Yu glanced at Shalira once more, nodding in satisfaction as he stated directly, “Let’s go, it’s about time to head back.”

“Yes, Master,” replying softly, the woman next to him slowly stood up.

As a matter of fact, although the Zerg Queen had a Humanoid figure, her body’s structure was far beyond Human comprehension.

In other words, despite her seemingly delicate appearance, anyone mistaking her for a fragile Human woman would never even know how they died.

At that moment, as if remembering something, Yu Zi Yu turned his gaze toward the nearby Hive Mind and reminded it, “Remember to separate out a Zerg Hive and send it to me. Such a good Star Fortress, yet still so primitive… Haaaaa” With a sigh of regret, Yu Zi Yu lamented.

The Zerg Hive was a natural Star Fortress, entirely made from a material called Stygian Quartz. It was an extremely rare mineral that nourishes the Souls and excellently conducts Psychic Power.

By channeling Psychic Power into it, one could easily control the entire Hive, allowing it to travel rapidly through the depths of space.

Even more terrifying was that over time, the Stygian Quartz became even harder due to the constant nourishment from the Zerg.

Anything that was not tough enough had already been devoured, so what remained was naturally the hardest.

Thus, the Stygian Quartz-forged Zerg Hive was a natural Star Fortress, capable of withstanding planetary battles.

With a bit of refinement and a round of forging by Old Ninth followed by some Human technology to arm it, Yu Zi Yu believed that in no time, an immensely powerful Star Fortress would quietly emerge out of it. At that point, it would almost be time for Yu Zi Yu to truly step into the stars.

However, considering that the Zerg Hive was akin to the lifeblood of the Hive Mind, Yu Zi Yu decided not to push too far.

He only asked for one and made sure to emphasize that it was ‘for the Zerg Queen.’

Of course, most importantly, Yu Zi Yu provided the Hive Mind with a large amount of Life Essence.

After all, they were allies… One could not appear too greedy.

To be honest, though, the Hive Mind had been very cooperative. Not only did it show immense respect, but it also handed over everything that was due.

Such a good ally… it would be a bit too much to push it too hard.

Thus, Yu Zi Yu made sure to reciprocate appropriately.

“Understood, Star God.” Suppressing its reluctance, the Hive Mind responded, looking toward the dark planet nearby with a gaze filled with helplessness and reluctance.

The Zerg Hive was the cradle of the Zergs. Cutting off a part of the Hive was like losing an entire army.

Moreover, with Shalira in charge, controlling it would not be a problem.

In other words, it was essentially handing over one-third of its forces to the Zerg Queen.

But… under the circumstances, it had no choice.

What the Hive Mind did not know was that most of the current imbalance in their deal was thanks to Shalira, the Zerg Queen.

Though she appeared cold and silent on the surface, she was anything but simple.

Of course, Yu Zi Yu did not care about this. Strength was everything in the end.

And while Shalira might be clever, she too had been forced into this position.

After all, with the Hive Mind around, anomalies like her and King Zerg—those who deviated from the typical Zergs—would never rise to prominence within the Zerg Clan.

But now, things were looking good.

With the separation from the Hive Mind, both of them would have a fresh start.
