“I think I’m starting to understand something,” Yu Zi Yu muttered, his face showing a strange expression.

[Growth, Devouring, and Conversion—the three High-Level Principles, don’t they form a perfect cycle? The Principle of Devouring allows one to devour all things. The Principle of Growth uses what’s been devoured to fuel continuous growth…And the Principle of Conversion prevents energy loss by perfectly converting all the absorbed energy. In this way, the three High-Level Principles form the foundation of the Supreme Principle—the Principle of Infinity.]

[Devour all things, and grow infinitely. The growth is not only physical but also a growth of strength. As for the Intermediate-Level and Low-Level Principles, they complete this cycle in various ways. This must be the true essence of the Principle of Infinity. As for more intricate details, I don’t know for sure, but following this current train of thought, I shouldn’t be wrong.]

The reason why Yu Zi Yu reached this conclusion was because just as he was struck with this realization, a mysterious feeling had surfaced in his mind. It was vague and inexplicable, yet profound and mystical.

“Now, the first Principle I should comprehend is the High-Level Principle—the Principle of Devouring…” Yu Zi Yu murmured to himself, his consciousness sinking into his body as he carefully experienced the persistent feeling of hunger.

The hungrier he was, the more he craved…And the more he wanted to devour everything.

Like now, as he slowly opened his mouth.

*Boooooom…* With a thunderous roar, the gargantuan entity, coiled in the depths of the void and large enough to rival the stars, opened its mouth as a fearsome suction emanated from its gaping maws.

At that moment, if one were to look closely, they would see a deep, black abyss inside its mouth, swirling endlessly, growing deeper by the second.

This was the Gorge of Avarice, one of Yu Zi Yu’s formidable abilities. It unleashed a terrifying suction force, creating a massive vortex capable of devouring everything in its path.

In that moment, as Yu Zi Yu opened his mouth, the bizarre and desolate world around him began to warp.

Huge chunks of floating landmass, drifting in the endless void…

Debris scattered across the depths of Void Space…

Everything began to spiral, pulled into the ever-tightening vortex.

*Boom!* With a thunderous roar, the relentless force of the Gorge swept up vast amounts of debris, forming a towering purple tornado that spiraled upward, only to be swallowed whole by Yu Zi Yu.

“Uh…” Suddenly, Yu Zi Yu paused for a moment as an expression of doubt appeared on the Soaring Purple Flood Dragon’s face, feeling the sensation in his stomach.

[It’s still not satisfying enough. This isn’t what this body wants. What it truly desires is…] Suddenly, the cold serpent eyes gleamed with a sharp gleam as Yu Zi Yu realized that his Soaring Purple Flood Dragon Form craved for life instead.

*Haaaa…* Taking a deep breath, Yu Zi Yu suppressed the impulse within him.

[What a terrifying Life Form! Even though it’s already this powerful, it still longs for slaughter… This body longs to dye its body red with the blood of its enemies… To satiate its hunger with the flesh of its foes.]

Nonetheless, if devouring life could bring Yu Zi Yu closer to comprehending the true Principle of Devouring, then Yu Zi Yu was open to consider it. However, his targets would not be the denizens of Earth or Elysia.

Earth and Elysia were his strongholds. Although this body of his yearned for slaughter, it was not desperate enough to feast on anything and everything.

“It seems the time to venture into other Star Domains needs to be moved up…” Murmuring to himself, Yu Zi Yu’s consciousness sank deeper into his Soaring Purple Flood Dragon Form, settling in for the final consolidation…

…

Not long after, as if sensing something, Yu Zi Yu’s gaze suddenly flickered.

Lifting his eyes, his gaze seemed to pierce through space. Before long, a scene unfolded before him: a purple elven figure stood face-to-face with a massive Red Dragon in the sky of the Realm of Life.

“So, it’s already time for the contract to be formed…” Murmuring to himself, Yu Zi Yu could not help but sigh helplessly at how busy he had been recently.

Initially, he had planned to consolidate the cultivation of his Soaring Purple Flood Dragon Form further, but now it was already time for his Void Elf Form to complete the contract.

In fact, aside from when he was in combat or deeply immersed in understanding Principles, Yu Zi Yu usually managed his other bodies with just a wisp of his consciousness.

In simpler terms, even while the majority of his consciousness was devoted to controlling the Soaring Purple Flood Dragon, Yu Zi Yu’s true body—the Immortal Tree—and his Void Elf Form would continue to function independently.

For instance, his true body remained rooted in the starry sky, perpetually absorbing starlight and Spiritual Energy.

That was cultivation. His true body had already made cultivation an instinct, so even without Yu Zi Yu’s conscious guidance, it continued to cultivate on its own.

Similarly, his Void Elf Form required only a wisp of his consciousness to handle most tasks, whether it was cultivating or traversing the world.

However, for something as crucial as forming a Soul Contract, that wisp of consciousness was insufficient. Consequently, Yu Zi Yu needed to dedicate a larger portion of his consciousness to this task

Thus, Yu Zi Yu’s consciousness shifted.

At the same time, in the sky of the Realm of Life…

*Booooom…* With a thunderous shook to his mind, a faint crimson mark appeared on the forehead of Yu Zi Yu’s Void Elf Form.

This crimson mark was the manifestation of Yu Zi Yu’s Heavenly Eye, a strong indication of his consciousness descending into this body.

After all, the Heavenly Eye only responded to Yu Zi Yu’s Soul. Whichever body his primary consciousness resided in; the Heavenly Eye would appear there as well.

And now, as the blood mark slowly emerged on the forehead of his Void Elf Form, its entire aura changed. It became more sinister, more terrifying, and sent a chill through the hearts of those nearby.

*Gulp…* The Red Dragon Queen, standing in the distance, instinctively swallowed a mouthful of saliva and asked after a moment of hesitation, “Master, is something wrong?”

As she asked, her bloodstained Dragon Claws paused mid-air.

For some reason, in that brief moment, she felt as though something had changed about her Master. He had become even more frightening.

“Continue with the ceremony…”  An icy voice echoed through the void as Yu Zi Yu slowly opened the Heavenly Eye on his brow, calmly observing the contract ceremony unique to the Dragon Clan.
