Dragon Monarch System

Chapter 1012: Chapter 1012:- Objectives

”Why isn’t he waking up?” Lilith and Rin looked at Julia. Riya remained silent and calm as she understood the process better than those two did.

”The antinode is working, but it will take time.”

”For now, the good thing is he is no longer on the verge of death, and slowly his condition is improving.”

Rin looked at his face and noticed that his complexion was improving. Blood no longer came out of his mouth, nose, eyes, and ears.

Sigh.....!!!!

’That’s great!’ Seeing this, she sighed in relief. It was as if a huge weight had been lifted from her heart. She cannot explain just how tense she was this whole time.

After experiencing so much cruelty for years and losing her entire family, she was not ready to experience another heartbreak and lose someone very close to her heart. This time, she might not be able to recover.

”Let me examine the changes taking place in his body. Then I should be able to make a pretty accurate guess as to when we can expect him to wake up.”

”Yeah, do that!!!”

Around 10 minutes later, the goddess of alchemy came to the conclusion that their husband would wake up around 5 to 6 hours later. Even then, he might not have the strength to move or walk on his own. He will need rest for a minimum of 15 hours.

”That’s very good to hear.”

”Let me clean him myself.” Lilith wanted to do this herself.

”I will also help.” Lilith normally would have refused, but these weren’t normal times. She nodded her head. The more help she received, the better it was.

Julia and Riya did not argue much about this and let Lilith and Rin take care of him for now.

Riya and Rin were also about to leave when she noticed Julia had started to prepare some kind of potion.

”What are you doing?”

”I noticed that the claw marks covering his entire chest are not healing at all. Normally, wounds of this level should have at least shown some signs of recovery by now, so it is clear that something is interfering with the healing process. It must be because of the poison that entered his body through those wounds.”

”I am thinking of creating a special kind of medicinal paste that can be applied directly to the injured areas. Since the poison entered through these claw marks, treating the wounds externally might help draw out the poison more effectively and speed up his overall recovery.”

”All right, I will help then.”

”It’s all right, I can do this on my own.”

Riya just smiled and stood next to her. She was very stubborn, and there was no changing her mind on this.

Julia did not say anything. Both of them silently stood and worked with very good coordination.

Scene Change_______

”The ancient dragon has failed.” The core member looked at the organisation leader and saw him being very calm, and he even had a smile on his face.

”From your expression, it looks like you had expected this outcome.” Leo nodded. If it were this easy to kill Aditya, then he himself would have went to the Six Continents to observe everything with his own eyes.

”From the beginning, my intention was not to eliminate the dragon monarch. My intention was to test two things.”

”The first was to test the power of the poison that was made with the divine dragon blood drops on the dragon monarch. I knew the poison was going to work at the same time. I also knew that with the goddess of alchemy by his side, she would be able to develop some kind of cure in a very short time.”

The outcome was entirely in his expectation. One thing that surprised him or went beyond his expectations was the defensive capabilities of the empire.

Over the month, he had been getting reports from the scouts that the emperor was going from city to city and restructuring the defensive capabilities of each major city of the Istarin Empire. He had no idea just how powerful the defensive capabilities had become, so he needed someone to test them.

”The second objective was to test the defensive capabilities of each major city of the empire. Both tests were very successful. Now we have more accurate information on the ability of the dragon monarch and the defensive capabilities of his empire.”

”We even managed to get extra information about the Dragon Palace and its ability to teleport long distances.”

The ancient dragon was merely a tool to achieve his purpose.

”And to be honest, I had no plans about the ancient dragon. At that time, I only captured the ancient dragon because we needed to test whether a powerful ancient dragon could be controlled or not. After that, I just kept him in the prison in a hibernation state, thinking that in future he might come in use.”

”I suspect in a few days, we will see him on the mainland.” From his understanding of the Dragon Monarch, the reason he delayed his journey to the main continent for almost 2 months is that he needed to upgrade the defensive capabilities of his Empire, so that in his absence, no one could harm his people.

Now that he had completed his work of upgrading the defensive structures, there was nothing holding him back from coming to the main continent.

”The question is what kind of strategy he made to fight against his cousin.” Leo was very interested to see how things would unfold. After living over 1 million years, he was not afraid of someone like Aditya, even though he was un doubtful at their most exceptional person he had ever met. The only person who comes really close to matching his brilliance would be the Crimson Dragon King.

”Most probably, he will try to get the elders and Past Emperors on his side.”

”That’s highly likely the case. Otherwise, he would not have the authority to challenge his cousin for the throne. After all, he is still someone who was exiled from the main continent entirely. If he did return to the main continent, then he could be put in prison or executed on a legal basis.”

”Not to mention, he has no legal ties to the royal family anymore after being exiled. So this will be very interesting to see what method he will use to fight this problem.”

”He has someone very experienced. With Alfred’s help, surely whatever he plans will be very efficient.” What kind of plan he made was not of his concern. What concerned him was getting him into their trap.

Scene Change________

24 hours after the incident took place, Aditya’s health was restored to full points. The wound on his chest had healed to the point that not even the scars of the claws remained on his chest.

After waking up, he experienced extreme dizziness and weakness, so much so that he could not walk on his own.

Fortunately, the various potions that Julia made for him while he was unconscious for 15 hours helped him recover completely within one day.

The next morning after breakfast, Aditya sat with everyone.

”I have completed my recovery. I think I should not waste any more time and start my journey towards the Main Continent.”

The girls nodded in understanding. Only Julia did not nod her head. Instead, she kept her head lowered. It was as if she were thinking about something.

He had already let them know about this day.

”Can’t you wait one more day?” Julia asked after a moment of silence. Seeing the sincere look, he could not bring himself to refuse her.

”Alright! I will leave tomorrow morning after breakfast.”

”Who are you planning on taking on this journey for now?” Asked Lilith. She was very willing to go with him. But also understood this wasn’t her time yet.

”I have already sent Grandpa Alfred to the Dwarf Tribe. He is waiting for me there.” During the two months’ time, Aflred has been making regular trips to the Dwarf territory. The dwarves were helping Aditya gather information about the current political scenario of the Celestial Dragon Empire. If he were going against his cousin, he would need to know and also understand the political structure and scenario of the empire.

”Tomorrow, Rin, Athena, and I will head out. Once we reach the Dwarf territory, the next phase of the plan will begin.”

”For now, Rin will help me have an audience with my parents. I want to understand their views on this entire situation.” Rin gave them this idea a month and a half ago in one of their family discussions.

Six can bring anyone within the six continents into the spiritual world. When she goes to the Tunnel World, she can pull anyone within the Tunnel World and the Main Continent into the spiritual world. This is why their first stop is the Dwarf territory.
