Dragon Monarch System

Chapter 646 646:- first come, first served”

Two lovebirds were busy kissing each other. Both their tightly pressed against each other. Both of them were lost in their own worlds. While kissing Lara, Aditya pushed away all the documents on his desk and then made her sit on top of the desk as they continued to kiss.

Lara had tightly wrapped her arms around his neck.

She was helpless against him. In front of his experience, she was like a child. So she could only follow his guide. After a long time, both of them finally stopped. It was because Lara had run out of breath. She was panting heavily in his arms. Huff.....!!! Huff....!!

”Thatʼs the longest I have ever kissed anyone.” Because of how long they had been kissed, Laraʼs lips were slightly swollen. But she wasnʼt mad about it. But rather she wanted. Lara loved the time that she had with Aditya. She cherished every single second with Aditya. ”Hehe....!!!” Lara just giggled hearing his words. Seeing her slightly sweating, Aditya gently wiped the sweat with his palm before stroking her hair with his other hand. ”You should get ready for the Tournament. Itʼs about to start in a few hours.” Others were busy getting ready. Aditya would have been in his bedroom, getting ready, if Lara had pulled him to his office for some private moment. She has been sneakily doing this ever since her disease was cured. And little by little, it appears she has been getting bolder. ”Canʼt we spend a little bit of time together?” Lara asked with pleading eyes. Seeing her cute expression, Aditya almost could not say no to her. ”No....!!!” Saying that Aditya did not look at her face. He feared that if he looked at her, then his resolve would weaken and he would end up changing his decision. But instead, he hugged her from behind.

He gently wrapped his strong arms around her waist and held her from behind. ”We have been kissing for over 2 hours now. You should return to your room. Rose must have been waiting for you.” Hearing this Lara pouted but she still agreed. ”Alright...!!!” ”But first give me a kiss.” Lara pointed at her right cheek for a kiss. Seeing this Aditya helplessly smiled before he leaned forward. Chu.....!!!

”There...!! Happy now...?” Aditya asked with a smile. ”Yeah...!!” Laraʼs cheeks were slightly turned. She lowered her head with a smile before she left his office. Meanwhile, Aditya teleported to his bedroom. As soon as he arrived at his bedroom, he found Watson along with a few other old maids waiting for Aditya. As for there were old maids, it was pretty obvious. Julia, Alicia, Riya, Amelia, and others feared that Aditya might seduce a few of the young maids. Julia and the other girls already had seen hints of many young maids in the Dragon Palace secretly having a crush on the young Emperor. Fortunately, Aditya was loyal to his women. He never even inappropriately touched anyone other than his women. This was one of the things that Julia, Alicia, Riya, and other girls liked about Aditya. So Watson only brought the old and experienced maids to help Aditya get dressed appropriately for such a grand occasion. ”Your Majesty, youʼre finally here.....!!! I wonder where you have been till now.” Watson asked with a smile. ”Sorry about that...!!!” Aditya apologized knowing that Watson and the old maids must have waited a long time for him. While being with Lara, he had completely forgotten about them. Sigh...!!!

Watson was already kind of used to this. Since the beginning, it was kind of Adityaʼs habit to leave without informing anyone. Many times, Watson has been stressed about this. But now he had gotten used to this kind of behavior from the young Emperor.

”Itʼs okay...!!! Please sit down and allow one of the maids to comb your hair.” As Aditya sat down in front of the mirror, one of the maids gently began combing his hair. Other maids began preparing the outfit that the Emperor was going to wear. Normally Aditya wouldnʼt bother to waste this much of his time in getting dressed. But this was a very special occasion. Today the entire Royal Family was going to be attending the tournament. Thousands upon thousands of people are going to be watching them.

It was a matter of pride and the image of the Istarin Empire.

Watson, Adityaʼs personal butler, had always taken his duties very seriously. But this time, there was an extra level of urgency in his actions. With the tournament only a week away, Watson knew that everything had to be perfect for Aditya, the esteemed Emperor of the Istarin Empire.

In his quest for perfection, Watson went out of his way to bring in the most renowned tailor from across the empire. It was rumored that his hands weaved magic into fabric. This tailor was known for dressing nobility across the Empire. He had never met someone as noble as the emperor himself.

Upon meeting Aditya, the tailor took his time, meticulously measuring every inch of the emperor with a golden tape measure. He noted the broadness of Adityaʼs shoulders, the length of his arms, and the posture he carried – all crucial details that would influence the majestic attire he was about to create.

The tailor discussed with Aditya the luxurious materials he intended to use. However, the seriousness of this task was made clear when Watson, with a stern look in his eyes, leaned in to quietly warn the tailor. ”If the emperor is not pleased with your work,” Watson whispered, ”then be prepared to never bask in the sunlight again.” Fortunately, the tailor lived up to Watsonʼs expectations. This morning, he came to the Dragon Palace to personally deliver the made outfit to Watson. From what Aditya heard from Watson, apparently, the poor guy hadnʼt slept in the last 7 days. Because of Watsonʼs threat, he had apparently stopped all other projects and stayed in his workshop for 7 days in a row. -

”Remember, to give you all in this tournament. Work as a team. Remember, our goal isnʼt to get first place. Our goal is to accumulate as many points as possible so that at the end of this tournament, our Division 5 wins this whole tournament.” Amber gave her speech to the members of the Division who were going to be competing in this tournament. For this tournament, Amber and the vice-captain of the 5th division had picked the best of the best from Division 5. Amber wanted to win this tournament. She was very serious about this tournament. ”Understood.....!!!!” All of the 5th Division soldiers nodded their heads at the same time before they walked to the stadium. ”Lady Amber, do you think we can win this tournament?” Asked the vice-captain. ”There is no need to be worried. They have trained really hard for the last month. As long as they all give their all, I am satisfied.” Amber was using this tournament to motivate her soldiers to train even harder. As for winning this tournament, she wasnʼt desperate like other Division captains. For her, this was nothing but a tournament. Meanwhile, on the other side of the Amphitheater_____

Josh and the best of his Divisionʼs men were standing in front of him. Looking at how much his boys have trained, Josh felt really proud. ”Listen, everyone!!! The aim of this tournament is to show the Herbivores Animals of the First Division that our division is way better and superior than theirs. Their Arrows are nothing but wood and sticks in front of the power of our fists.” ”Our aim is to crush all the Herbivores Animals of the First Division and win this tournament.” Josh loudly said while raising his fist in the air. ”Beat the the Herbivores Animals of the First Division....!!!!” All other soldiers of Joshʼs division also roared along with him. -

Scene change______

The whole Amphitheater was full of crowds.

The citizens of Azure City were free to come and enjoy the tournament without having to pay anything for their seats. But Aditya had clearly underestimated the hype that this tournament was going to generate. Instead of enjoying this tournament some greedy people began to unofficially sell tickets of the seats at a very high price. The price of the tickets went as above 100,000 gold coins.

Even even a few lower-ranking nobles had been scammed by this. They had bought their tickets at a very high price without knowing the fact that for all the nobles and their families, the Emperor had generously reserved special VIP seats. Obviously, Aditya had to send Nathan to put a stop to this scam. The idiots who tried to make quick money were put in jail for 10 months. In the next 10 months, those idiots are going to work at the mines of the Istarin Empire. As for the money that they earned, every single last penny of it was returned to the people who were scammed. The seats in the stadium were up for grabs without any cost, with a simple rule: if you get there first, the seat is yours. This meant that anyone who arrived early enough could claim a spot. But some folks saw a chance to make a bit of money. They would wake up at the crack of dawn and rush to the stadium with all their family members. Quickly, theyʼd spread out, taking over 5 to 8 seats each.

They werenʼt doing this just to make sure they all could watch the tournament together. No, they had a plan. As the start time of the tournament neared, and the stadium filled up, these seats would become very valuable. Thatʼs because there were always rich merchants from the Istarin Empire whoʼd want to watch the tournament but didnʼt like the idea of getting up early or couldnʼt because of their busy, rich-people schedules.

So, these families would hold onto the extra seats until the very last minute. Then, when a wealthy merchant arrived, looking for a good spot to sit, theyʼd sell them the seats for a pretty penny. It was a clever little business, taking advantage of the ”first come, first served” rule to make some money off the rich folks who could afford it.
