609  Chapter 609:- Flying Ship

”Percy, do you think this is going to work?” Aditya asked after showing the results of their days of hard work. It had been 9 days since Aditya and the girls were staying in Lionrock City. It wasnʼt as if they were a stranger or a foreigner here. As soon as the Lionrock City and its surrounding territory were claimed by the Istarin Empire, they became masters or landowners here. Aditya has been working none stop to make a design that bring revolution to the shipping industry of this world. It would be wrong of Aditya to take all the credit for himself. Without Percy who was an experienced genius blacksmith, Aditya wouldnʼt have been able to come up with this new design for the flying ship. While looking at the new design that Aditya drew for him to see, Percy stroked his chin and began to think deeply. Although the drawing wasnʼt that good as an experienced Blacksmith, Percy would understand everything. It was because he was able to understand Adityaʼs ideas that he was able to help him in the first place.

”Your Majesty, I think this design will work. No.....let me put it this way.....!!! Looking at your design, I am 100% sure that making a flying ship is possible now.” Percy sounded really excited. How can he not be excited? As a blacksmith, Percy lived for the sake of his art. His life had two purposes. The first was to continue making art and the second one was to drink a ton of wine and dream about his art. ”I must say, the ideas that Your Majesty shared with me initially have ended up becoming the groundwork for this final design.” The ideas that he shared with him were very creative. ”Working with you I have learned that to take my art to the next level, I must be more imaginative.” Percy shook his head and said in disappointment. When talking with Aditya, Percy could feel the vision that he had about this project. ”Nah, you are giving me too much credit.” Aditya shook his head while looking at the final design. ʼThese arenʼt my original ideas.ʼ Aditya thought in his mind. After all, his ideas were inspired by the planes and helicopters that he saw in his world. ”All we would need to do is now make some adjustments to an existing Flying ship to try it out. How about we conduct our experiment on a small desert ship?” Percy couldnʼt wait to see a flying ship.

”Sure, I have no problem with that.” Aditya was also slightly excited about this but not like Percy who could act as an excited child in front of Aditya while staring at the final design.

Aditya could only imagine the possibilities of flying ships. Once the flying ship is successfully made, then it is going to bring change to the entire shipping industry. But that was only going to happen if Adityq made flying ships commercially available to the public.

He is still debating whether to make Flying ships commercially available or not. After all, money was the last thing that the Emperor of the Istarin Empire lacked. Not to mention having the goddess of wealth as his wife meant that there was no way that the Empire would ever go broke.

Aditya did not have to worry about inflation or economic stagnation in his Empire. There was no need to worry about recession or economic downfall. The Emipre had a stable source of income. ʼMaking Flying ships available to the public would take away the advantage that the Istarin Empireʼs military would have.ʼ Making Flying Ships available would mean other Empires would also be able to use Flying ships for their military.

Sigh...!!!!

ʼI will think about this troublesome matter later.ʼ Right now there was no use of thinking this far into the far. After all, they hadnʼt even successfully implemented their plans and tested them out.

”Your Majesty, do you have any ideas about the second generation of the Flying Ships?” Percy suddenly asked Aditya.

Hearing this Aditya was surprised.

”You must have some ideas since you have asked me this question?” Aditya asked back. It wasnʼt hard to guess what Percy was thinking seeing his excited expression.

”Yeah...!!! Your Majesty, I think for the second generation of the Flying Ships, we should replace the normal Magic cannons with Solar Cannons. At the same time, Your Majesty could make a Mana gathering array. The array would gather Mana from the surrounding atmosphere. This would turn the Flying ships into a great place to cultivate faster. Your Majesty, we could also add Solar Thrusters. The thrusters would use Solar stones as an energy source. Using the thrusters, the speed of the flying ship could be temporarily doubled or even tripled.”

”We could also make giant ships that are as large as small cities or towns. These ships could stay hidden in the clouds. These ships would never come down to the ground. We could install teleportation arrays on these ships. So that our men can travel from the ship. Using a teleportation array, we could bring resources and mana stones. That way these ships will stay on the fly forever.” ”In the future, we can totally replace the need for Mana stones with Solar Stones. Solar stones are not only cheaper but also they are easily available. Solar stones could be found everywhere and everywhere.”

”Using giant flying ships, we can make our own secret and hidden military base and no one would even know about it. We can hide the Flying ships using various kinds of rune arrays. Not even 5th-order cultivators will be able to sense or notice these giant flying ships in the sky.” ”Stop....!!!! Stop....!!!!” Aditya hurriedly had to stop Percy. Aditya had to admit that Percyʼs ideas were really bold and ambitious but he loved these ideas. But he felt that he was thinking too far into the future. ”I like all of your ideas but for now letʼs test this design. If it works, then we could think about making second or even third-generation flying ships. But for now, letʼs focus on successfully making the first flying ship of this world.” Percy calmed down a little before nodding his head. Aditya wasnʼt surprised or startled. ”What is it, Sasha?” He asked in a calm tone. Others might have been surprised by his position but with his stats, he could easily sense her. 10:26

Aditya could somewhat understand why there were no flying ships in this world yet. After all, there was no economic or political factor driving the technology of this world. The technology of this world was still far behind the Technology of Earth. In this world, more focus is put on cultivation. More time, Energy, resources, and money are put into the development of cultivators. Itʼs no wonder that the technology of this world is so far behind. Since Aditya was someone from Earth, his mind wasnʼt narrow. He welcomed changes and new ideas. But there were many in this world who werenʼt willing to accept or embrace any change. The People of the Deep Sea Palace would be a perfect example of not embracing or accepting any change. Over thousands of years, the people of the Deep Sea Palace have stuck to their traditions and have never even tried to change them. Aditya felt that the Deep Sea Palace Empire was lucky that Laura was their current Empress. ʼIn the future, Percy could be in charge of the flying shipʼs production.ʼ But Aditya did not say it for now. Seeing how enthusiastic and excited Percy was about the future of the flying ships, Aditya knew that he was the best candidate for this role. Not to mention, Percy had an experience that other blacksmiths of the Istarin Empire lacked. He was a genius. ”So this is the final design. Is there anything that you would like to change in this design? Any features that would improve the efficiency of the flying ships?” Aditya asked. ”Your Majesty, I think that your design is perfect.” ”Alright.....!!!! Then letʼs start working on one. Come with me.” Percy and Aditya arrived at a secluded area in the middle of the city. Then he took out one of the small desert ships that he captured from the thief who tried to rob them. ”What do you think?” Aditya asked. ”This will do...!!!!” Without saying a word, Percy got to work. Some changes have to be made to the physical structure of the desert ship. ”Do you need any help? If you work by yourself then itʼs going to take too much time.” Aditya asked before Percy could start. Percy thought for a second and replied. ”Then I will head back and bring my subordinates and my students.” Percy had a lot of students that learned under him. ”Alright.” Once Percy left. Aditya was about to start working on making runes. Runes will be the main driving force behind the creation of the worldʼs first flying ship. But before he could start, Sasha appeared behind without making a sound. Aditya wasnʼt surprised or startled. ”What is it, Sasha?” He asked in a calm tone. Others might have been surprised by his position but with his stats, he could easily sense her. ”Someone is here to take the Blackwood.” Hearing this Adityaʼs expression changed. ”Letʼs go.....!!!”
