Dragon Monarch System

Chapter 619 619:- Dragon Grass

”My lady, can I ask you a question?” Lady Eleanorʼs secretary asked her. ”What?” ”Why exactly did you refuse to join the Beast Kingsʼs alliance to get the Dragon Grass? I mean once they get the Dragon Grass, and sell it, the amount of profit that each of them is going to make will be at least 100,000,000 million royal gold coins. 100,000,000 million royal gold coins is not a small number.”

”Not to mention this is just the least amount. If the Dragon Grass were to be auctioned I imagine the price would be increasing by 10 times or even 100 times. I wonder why Mylady did not join the alliance?” The secretary felt that joining the alliance could have immensely benefited them. Even though they were rich, getting 100 million royal gold coins wouldnʼt hurt.

”It is because of the Istarin Empire.” Lady Eleanor replied in a calm tone. ”The Istarin Empire...!!!!”

”My lady, I get it that the Istarin Empire is really strong. Probably no one in the Dying Isle continent or any Beast King individually can ever defeat the Istarin Empire. But with the combined military powers of the Beast Kings, even the Istarin Empire does not stand any chance.” The secretary felt that the power of the Istarin Empire was too exaggerated. Hearing that her secretary was acting like a ʼfrog in the bottom of the wellʼ, Lady Eleanor shook her head in disappointment. She wasnʼt expecting her secretaryʼs mind to be so narrow. ʼMaybe I would look for a new secretary.ʼ Lady Eleanor had this idea for a second before shaking her head. After all, her current secretary was really good at her work. Eleanor doubted that she would ever find anyone good as her secretary. Sigh.....!!!!

The secretary was confused seeing Lady Eleanor sigh like she was disappointed or depressed. ”Lin, I will say this once and for all.” Lady Eleanor turned around and looked at Secretary Lin. ”Donʼt be narrow-minded like those people.” Lin looked confused upon hearing this. ”I know what the Istarin Empire is capable of.” Lady Eleanor said. The Istarin Empire is the main reason why Eleanor chose to not fight for the Dragon Grass. Everyone knew what happened to those who messed with the Dragon Monarch. As far as Eleanor could recall, she could not remember anyone who had fought the Dragon Monarch and is still alive to this day. The ultimate fate for those who messed with the Dragon Monarch is death. Besides, Eleanor wasnʼt particularly interested in the Dragon Grass. Yes, the Dragon Grass is one of the most miraculous herbs in the whole world. Who in the world wouldnʼt want such treasure? But Eleanor wasnʼt ready to take the risks that were going to come along with this. ”When those foolish idiots try to fight for the Dragon Grass, then they will inevitably face the Istarin Empire. At that time, you will know exactly why I chose to not join this alliance.” Eleanor could imagine what was going to happen to the Beast Kings and their military forces. ʼKnowing his strength, probably he alone would be able to annihilate everyone. The destruction of the Beast Kings is just 5 days away from them.ʼ Lady Eleanor shook her head with a smile. Before Lady Eleanor had just heard some rumors about the Istarin Empireʼs Emperor being interested in the Draogn Grass. That was about nearly one month back. But as soon as she heard that the Istarin Empireʼs Emperor was in the Beast Continent, Eleanor was completely sure that Aditya was coming for the Dragon Grass. ʼThough I still canʼt understand why the Crimson Emperor would want the Dragon Grass so much.ʼ Lady Eleanor thought in her mind. -

Scene change____

A few days quickly passed since they came to the Sun City. They did not leave the Sun City. Instead, they stayed near the Sun City in their Flying ship which was hidden in the clouds. Their journey in the Beast Continent was basically almost over. Now they were waiting for the Dragon Grass to appear so that Aditya could take it and cure Lara. Everyone was somewhat busy with their own things except for Lara. She was standing Sun City from the deck of the ship.

The second generation of Flying ships was improved in many ways. Many new features were also added. One of those features was that, when the ship moved at its full speed, the people on the deck wouldnʼt feel the strong air current against their bodies due to the invisible barrier around the deck of the Flying ship. ”If you want I can take over this entire city and the land surrounding this city. I can give all of it to you.” Lara was startled to hear his voice. He was standing behind her. Aditya wrapped his arms around her soft and small waist and hugged her from behind. He also looked at the Sun City below them. ”If you own this land then you will preserve the remains of your home and protect the people there.” Aditya knew that once the ancestors of the Sun City people used to serve the Great Starry Sky Empire. But during its downfall, most of Sun City was destroyed by the forces from the Main Continent. This is why there were so many ruins of old buildings and walls around the whole city. ”There will be no need for that.” Lara leaned her head against his chest and said with a smile. ”Why though.....?” ”Lara does not want to trouble Husband with such a small matter.” Lara may not be good at politics but as the Princess, she was well aware that taking over this city and the surrounding territory wonʼt be as easy as Aditya makes it. ”Nonsense!!! Youʼre my wife. For you, I am ready to wage war on the entire Beast Continent.” Saying that Aditya affectionately kissed her right cheek. Chu..!!

Before Aditya might have been confused about his feelings towards Lara but over time that feeling had changed. Now he can confidently say he really loved this Vampire. He loved her as much as his other wives. ”Husband.....!!!” Lara slightly blushed. She was happy that a man like Aditya was her husband. Her husband was the best husband in the whole world. Her husband is kind and caring. Her husband is gentle and loving. Her husband is strong and fierce. Her husband was teasing and naughty. Lara couldnʼt have asked for a better husband. ”But Husband, even if you were to give Lara the entire Sun City, Lara doesnʼt know how to rule it. Lara is completely inexperienced in this matter. Besides with Laraʼs body, Lara wouldnʼt be able to work.” ”My dear wife, once we get the Dragon Grass, you will be cured. At that time, you will be able to cultivate just like the rest of us. You will no longer remain just a weak ordinary Vampire. Just wait a few more days. After that, you will be reborn. I promise.” Aditya meant his every single word. A few more days from now on, he is going to annihilate anyone who dares to stand in his way.

Lara felt warm hearing such words. Lara had long given up. She never held any hope of being able to cultivate or being able to become a normal Vampire.

ʼHow can I ever repay my husband? ʼ Lara touched his hands and thought to herself. ”Husband, Lara has a request,” Lara asked Aditya after being quiet for a few minutes. Aditya could tell that she was thinking of something. ”Hmm.....!!!”

”I want to learn cooking.” Laraʼs words surprised him a little. ”Itʼs not that I am against you learning how to cook. But can I know why?” Aditya asked. ”Lara isnʼt good at anything like her sisters. So Lara wants to be a good wife who cooks for her husband and everyone in the family.” Lara has been thinking of doing this for a while now. Unlike her sister Julia, Lara cannot make pills. Unlike her sister Alicia, Lara cannot run a business. Unlike her sister Riya, she cannot heal people. Unlike her sister Sasha, she cannot assassinate people. Unlike her sister Lilith, she wasnʼt that seductive. But one thing that all of her sisters lacked was knowing how to cook. At least by knowing how to cook and be a good wife, she could stand out. Now that she knew that she wasnʼt going to die in a few years anymore, Lara was finally starting to plan her future with her husband. And learning to cook was just a step one of doing it.

”I see. No problem. I know a person who makes the best food in the whole world. Once we return back to the Istarin Empire, every day, you can learn from her.” Since Aditya had helped out Riyaʼs mother in the past, she shouldnʼt reject his request. Teaching Lara one or two hours every single day would be more than enough. ”Thank you, hubby...!!!!” Lara thanked Lara. ”Thatʼs not how you thank your husband.” Saying that Aditya leaned forward and kissed her lips. ”This is how you kiss...I mean thank your Husband.” Lara just blushed before nodding her head. -

The remaining few days passed very quickly. One day before the Dragon Grass would appear, Aditya turned around the Flying ship and went towards the direction of the Northern region. The Dragon Grass was going to appear in the desert of the Northern region this time. ----------------
