615 Chapter 615:- Sun City

The southern region of the Beast Continent was completely different compared to the Northern region or the central region. The Southern region was greener. The temperature of this region wasnʼt that hot.

The Southern region received more rain than any other region in the Beast Continent. The southern region is considered one of the wettest regions of the Beast Continent.

As a result of this, the entire Southern region was covered in lush green forests.

The southern region may be small compared to the Northern or the Central region of the continent, but this region was 5 times more populated than the entire central region.

With Riyaʼs powers, a large amount of Mithralwood was produced. In the end, it took Percy and his men 9 entire days to make a flying ship using Mithralwoods. They did not build a flying ship from scratch as that would have taken up too much time. Instead, they took the large ship that Aditya brought the Savannahclaw City.

Percy and his men replaced the normal wood with Mithralwoods. They also made other adjustments so that the second generation of the flying ship could fly faster and more efficiently than the first generation of the flying ship.

At the same time, Aditya also made adjustments in his rune arrays.

All this was happening while the first generation of the flying ship was flying towards the southern region. Using the teleportation array that Aditya built in the flying ship, he was regularly able to return to the Dragon Palace.

He has been so busy with work that he did not even realize that nine days had passed. Fortunately, By the end of the ninth day, they were able to finish making the second generation of the flying ship.

The maximum speed limit of the second generation of the flying ship is 350 km/h. That was more than the speed of a 3rd-

order cultivator.

There werenʼt any issues with the ship shaking. The energy consumption also has been reduced.

Compared to the first generation, the second generation of flying ships was 10 times better.

The ruins of the Great Starry Sky Empire are located near the edge of the Sun City. In order to not draw any attractions, they left the ship above the clouds.

Aditya had added Cloud formation and Mana defensive barriers to the Flying Ship. He would instantly know if anyone entered the flying ship.

With the cloud formation, the whole ship will be surrounded by white clouds.

Aditya would have lowered the flying ship to the ground but this was going to bring multiple problems. If such a big ship were to land outside of such a small ship, this was going to attract the attention of all the people in the city.

Desert ships cannot travel in the terrain of the Southern region. So the flying ship will be revealed to everyone. Aditya wasnʼt ready to reveal the Flying Ship to the world yet. He had a plan regarding when he was going to show the flying ship.

Aditya easily carried Lara and Julia in his arms. As for Alicia, she was too embarrassed to join. So she was carried by Lilith.

Everyone flew down to the ruins.

The Sun City was surrounded by small mountains from all directions. It was a small city with a population of less than 20,000 altogether. The majority of the population of this city was Vampires and humans. There were many half-vampires and half-humans.

In the last few centuries, most ruins of the Great Starry Sky Empire have completely vanished forever. What remained of that Empire was the ruins of its Royal Palace.

”Lara is back....!!!!” Lara put her foot on the ground and looked around. Although the scenery around the city hadnʼt changed much even after so many centuries, the city in front of her had completely changed.

This place used to be Laraʼs homeland. This was the place where she was born.

While walking ahead of everyone, she continued to look around. The more she looked, the more she felt that her homeland had become a foreign and unfamiliar place. This place did not feel like her home anymore.

Back then, the Sun City had a massive population of over 1 million. The whole City was surrounded by tall walls. But now those walls had disappeared. A few old parts of the walls still remain standing outside of the city.

Looking at everything, she felt complicated. After all, this place was her home. Now she truly felt as if she had travelled to the future.

With a glance, Lara could tell that this whole city was in decline. From the condition of the city, she could tell that the whole city was in poverty.

ʼJust what happened while Lara was sleeping.ʼ Lara felt a deep sense of regret and sadness. She missed her parents. She missed her family. She missed the old Sun City.

”Once upon a time, the Sun City used to be the capital of the Great Starry Sky Empire,” Aditya murmured in a low tone but everyone other than Lara was able to hear his words with their heightened senses.

Laraʼs head was down. She was feeling sad. There was also a trace of disappointment in her heart. Though she had expected the Sun City to completely look different than before since so much time had passed, after seeing the city with her own eyes, she still felt disappointed.

”Are you alright?” Aditya asked as he wrapped his arm around her waist. He let his body lean against him.

Others silently watched from behind. They felt that they shouldnʼt interrupt them at this moment and instead give them some time alone. Right now, Lara needed Aditya more than anyone else.

”Hubby, hold Lara tightly....please...!!!!” Aditya did as she said. He tightly hugged her behind. Of course, he had to hold back from using his full strength otherwise he might kill her.

After a while, Lara felt much better than before. While holding his hand, she began walking forward.

Seeing a bunch of outsiders, the townʼs people were curious about them. They felt that the mysterious group of people that had come to their little city might have a special identity. So no one had the courage to speak to them.

The ruin was located in the center of the city.

It was the old Royal Palace.

Looking at the old Royal Palace, for a moment she couldnʼt even recognize this place.

The place where Lara had once lived was now in ruins.

The whole palace was completely destroyed. There were one or two half-broken pillars of the Palace still standing. Other than that, the rest of the Royal Palace was in debris. There was a giant mountain of debris.

Over the long passage of time, green mosses had started growing on the debris.

Seeing everything Aditya gently squeezed Laraʼs palm as if trying to assure her that he was there.

They were here for the things that Laraʼs parents had left behind for her. This was supposed to be Laraʼs share of the inheritance.

”Riya, can you please use your powers and see if there is anything hidden under the ground?” Aditya asked.

At first, the goddess of nature could not find anything. But as soon as she put her palm on the ground, she widened her eyes as she discovered a coffin that was buried more than 100 meters deep under the ground.

”Did you find anything?” Aditya asked.

”Yes. Give me a minute.” Riyaʼs eyes started glowing in green.

In an instant, the pile of rubble trembled a bit. They noticed the pile of rubble slowly shifting aside.

About 20 seconds later, a coffin gradually emerged from the empty space that appeared as the debris moved away.

Aditya easily carried the coffin to Lara.

”Open it....!!!!” Lara bit her lips and tried to open the coffin but no matter how much strength she used the coffin did not open.

”Let me try....!!!!” Sasha was about to try when Aditya stopped her.

”This Coffin will only open if Lara pours a drop of her blood on it. Otherwise, forcefully trying to open this coffin will destroy everything inside.” Aditya was able to tell this by seeing the runes drawn on the coffin.

With Riyaʼs help, a drop of Laraʼs blood was taken out. Lara did not feel any pain. As soon as the drop of blood fell on the coffin, the coffin vibrated for a few seconds before they all heard a clicking sound.

”Now try.....!!!”

As Lara opened the coffin, everyone became curious to see what her parents had left behind for her.

When the coffin was opened, Lara widened her eyes seeing the whole was full of gold, diamond, and other precious metals.

There were many pieces of jewelry. She recognized these pieces of jewelry as her mother used to wear them a lot. Seeing this, Lara almost cried. She missed her mother so much.

”Lara, there are multiple storage rings inside the coffin. Maybe, your parents have left more things inside the storage rings.” Lara nodded her head in agreement.

Since Lara wasnʼt a cultivator, she could not use a storage ring. Julia stepped in to help her.

As Julia poured a little bit of Mana inside the storage ring to see what was inside the first storage ring, her expression changed.

”What is inside?” Alicia asked seeing Juliaʼs expression changing.

”There are over one billion royal gold coins inside the first storage ring. I havenʼt been able to count everything since there are just too many gold coins inside.” Julia gave the storage ring to Lara.

This just goes to show how much Laraʼs parents cared for her. This also showed just how rich and powerful the Great Starry Sky Empire was.

Even for a powerful Empire, leaving 1 billion royal gold coins in cash for one of their princesses would be very difficult. Not to mention, Aditya heard that Lara had many sisters and brothers.

ʼTo think an empire this powerful fell within just one day....!!!!ʼ Aditya shook his head feeling pity and also a little bit sad for Lara.

”Husband, please keep this with you.” Lara handed the storage ring to Aditya without a second thought.

”Why donʼt you keep it to yourself? Once your mysterious illness is cured then you can use the storage rings.” Aditya asked.

Lara shook her head and replied. ”Lara has everything that she needs.” Hearing this Aditya smiled.

”Alright, I will keep these storage rings for now.”

”We should check what is inside the other storage rings.....!!” Julia and Alicia picked up two storage rings. They repeated the same process as before. Once again the expressions changed after seeing what was inside the storage rings.
