Dragon Monarch System

Noticing the barrier was fading, Victor knew that they had to go now. He would love to stay here and continue this carnage, but the plan had to be followed. The moment the barrier started to fade, it was their call to retreat.

But Victor wasn’t in a hurry yet.

He took out a cigarette and lit up. While staring at Aditya, he took a long puff and blew it towards Aditya with a look of endless satisfaction.

”Killing you is very easy, Aditya.” Victor took another puff of the cigarette and blew the smoke on Aditya’s face.

”But I wanted you to feel this pain.” Aditya stared at Victor while panting. Right now, he had no more strength to fight. Even if he levels up his cultivation, his missing limbs will still take time to heal.

”I want you to feel the pain that I went through when you killed my brother.” Saying that Victor looked at Wahid, who was lying motionless on the ground.

Aditya also looked at Wahid, the uncle who had showered him with so much love and care. Aditya couldn’t even hear his heartbeat anymore.

Seeing this, Aditya could not hide his sad expression.

”Feeling pain?” Victor looked at Aditya and asked in a mocking tone. He really wanted to see at least one tear of pain and grief from Aditya.

”Go ahead! Cry!” But Aditya coldly stared at Victor’s face. He wanted to engrave the face of the man who bought him to his knees.

Meanwhile, his subordinates, who were engaging others, retreated and came to take Victor with them.

”Victor, it’s time for us to retreat. We have accomplished the purpose of this mission. There is no reason for us to continue staying here anymore.” As for the other groups, they had different escape routes. But Victor had a feeling that the Sect leader, Sophia, might not be doing well against the old monster Boris. Even the chances of that coward Renji suriving against Malakor Harrington was too little.

Victor nodded while taking another long puff, staring at Aditya.

”You are not the dragon monarch. If having a Divine dragon blood can make someone a Dragon Monarch, then in this world’s history, there would have been plenty of Dragon Monarchs.”

”Till we meet again, Aditya.”

With those words, Victor and the rest of the organisation members left the scene.

The aftermath of the war was that almost every single person was heavily injured.

There was someone who was in a worse condition than Aditya. And that person was Aditya’s uncle.

After a few long breaths of silence, Aditya felt he had recovered a little bit of his stamina. He noticed that his uncle was lying motionless on the ground just 10 to 20 m away from him.

”Uncle Wahid.....” He called out his uncle in a very weak tone.

Even after calling him multiple times, he got no response.

Having no other choice, with his one leg and half a right arm, he began crawling towards his uncle. Even his wings were so badly damaged that he could not use them to fly there.

He did not even have the stamina to fly.

”Uncle Wahid!!!!” Aditya shook Wahid’s body with his half arm. But no matter what he did or how much he called his uncle, he did not respond.

”Uncle...!” Aditya’s eyes reddened. His vision blurred even more than before because of all the tears that rolled down his face.

Although he had met his uncle just today. Within a single afternoon and a single evening, he had left a very deep impression on his heart.

His genuine love and care towards Aditya had really touched him.

And now seeing that very family member like this because he took the life-ending attack that was meant for him, Aditya broke down. This was the first time since he started the long journey that he had lost someone so close to him.

Swoosh!

Athena and Laura rush to find Aditya after they are done with their fights. Both girls look seriously injured as well. But their injuries were nothing compared to the state that they found Aditya in.

Seeing him like this was already heartbreaking to the girls, but seeing him crying while hugging his uncle with his half arm completely shattered their hearts.

”Aditya!” The girls rushed to hug Aditya. They could not control their tears either.

Laura separated herself from Athena and hugged him tightly from behind. They did not care about his blood staining their clothes. At that moment, this did not matter to them.

But his attention remained on his Uncle. ” I can hear a faint heartbeat.”

Earlier, when he had hugged his uncle, he had managed to hear, faintly, an almost-not-noticable heartbeat. It was clear that his heart was about to stop beating.

The moment he spoke those words, Rin immediately took out several Peak 5-star healing potions. Without wasting a single second, she gently lifted the back of his head and carefully poured the potions into his mouth, making sure he swallowed every drop. Her movements were quick but steady, showing just how experienced she was in dealing with serious injuries.

At the same time, she took out three more healing potions and poured them directly onto his wounds. The healing liquid spread across the injured flesh and immediately began working. His condition was far worse than ordinary injuries.

There was a massive hole in his abdomen where a large portion of his stomach had been completely destroyed. Blood continued flowing from the wound as the healing energy desperately tried to repair the damage. Under the effects of the Peak 5-star potions, flesh slowly began regenerating, and the edges of the wound started closing at a visible rate, but even with such powerful medicine, an injury of this magnitude could not be healed instantly.

The miraculous power of the peak five-star healing potions began to show itself. His heartbeat slightly became stronger.

Even his breathing was no longer as faint as before. But it wasn’t enough for him to wake up.

Meanwhile, Laura fed him multiple healing potions and also poured the green glowing liquid on his wound so that he would also heal faster. Aditya had lost one of his legs and both of his arms. Even though his left arm was still half intact, it was useless.

Just then, Boris and Harrington, both covered in small and big scars, arrived.

Seeing the situation, both men had grim looks. At the same time, both men felt a strong surge of anger and rage in their hearts because of what the organisation did to their grandson. Harrington especially lost his mind when he saw his nephew on the verge of death.

In anger, Harrington let out a loud roar. He was so mad that his killing intent leaked out without any control. He was howling like an enraged animal. His roar was so loud that it spread all over the city and even reached outside to Vardy and the rest of his men.

Seeing that his grandson and the rest were being affected by this killing intent, Boris slapped Harrington’s back of the head.

”Can’t you see that your killing intent is killing them all?” The one who was most affected by this was especially Wahid. He was already extremely weak and fragile at this moment; on top of it, Harrington had to unleash his killing intent in rage.

Hearing this, Harrington real realized his mistake and quickly suppressed his killing intent.

Athena checked Wahid’s condition.

”How is his condition?” Boris asked.

”The good thing is, he is no longer on the verge of death. But the bad thing is, even with peak five-star healing potions, the wounds on his body are healing slowly.”

”The best part is that he stopped bleeding.”

”He needs to six star healing potion.” By then, the rest of the members who had also finished their battle had arrived.

The Goddess of War saw Aditya being held by Laura. Seeing him in this condition, her heart ached so much.

She quickly rushed to him and started checking on his wounds.

”But I have very bad news for everyone.” Boris and Harrington, with their thousands of years of experience, could immediately tell at a glance what Athena was about to tell them.

Just then, Wahid’s wives arrived. Zahira sat down and held her husband in her arms. Although she tried to appear strong in front of everyone, it was extremely difficult. She could not stop her silent tears from rolling down her cheeks and falling onto her dying husband’s face.

Yuna, Wahid’s second wife, sat beside Zahira and reached for her husband’s cheeks with her trembling right hand.

”What?” Yuna looked at Athena and waited for her answer. The brave woman was also very seriously injured. There was a large vertical wound on her back. But she did not care about her wounds right now.

”He has lost his cultivation.” Hearing this, everyone froze with a look of shock and disbelief.

”Even if he can recover his cultivation, it will take him decades to reach the cultivation order he was in.”

”To be honest, I am not even sure if he will even wake up. He has too many internal injuries. He is in a state of coma now.”

Meanwhile, Aditya was already on the verge of collapsing. He managed to hold on until everyone arrived.

The last thing that he heard before collapsing was about Uncle Wahid losing his cultivation.

Really, thank you very much to all those who sent support with valuable golden tickets and gifts. I hope we can keep it up!!!

I had written this Chapter two months ago. My intention was to drive the story in this direction. I wanted to upload this Chapter last month, but because of personal reasons from mid-May to the last days of May, I became inconsistent with uploads. Otherwise this emotional Chapter would have come for Last Month.
